Food is excellent. Best carne asada we've had. Service is excellent, owner/mngr was super kind. Only thing I feel compelled to mention is my experience with their cocktails. While waiting for a table a watched a large party (a family) in the dining room. One of the women at this table had one margarita but when she stood up, she couldn't stand and almost hit the floor. She couldn't walk out on her own and her husband had to hold her up. It was odd because one drink shouldn't really do that to most people. I just thought maybe she couldn't handle her liquor. However, my husband and I both ordered a margarita once we got sat for dinner. He said his tasted great. Mine had a weird bitter taste to it. We each only had one. They were not strong drinks but when I went to stand up, I, too, felt off and dizzy. I was not drunk. I felt off all night and still don't feel right today. My husband didn't feel anything at all. I don't want to accuse them of anything I can't prove but something isn't right with that. I genuinely have to wonder if someone in the bar is putting something into some drinks... They were super busy. People love the place. I just hope they aren't doing something questionable. Other than this one thing, I can't say anything bad about the place and that area loves having a good restaurant they can go to without having to drive too far. Ate here tonight. Food was good not great. Service is slow and the place is very busy. Mexican food restaurant ambience. Will come again maybe an off night. Fries for the grandson. Took forever to get the check. The service and people were very nice and friendly. Give them a try. Remember we are from Southern California and used to real Mexican food and hospitality. if I could provide a zero out of five score I would. We walked in on a busy Friday night, which is totally understandable. Was told it would be a 15 minute wait which we (2) were absolutely OK with. Watched a couple come in after us, hug one of the waiters and then be seated by him before us. When questioned what happened we were basically met with a shoulder shrug. We finally got the opportunity to eat at this restaurant and it's well worth the drive. To say I was impressed is an understatement. I've co owned several restaurants in the So Cal area and cleaned front and back of house from Vegas to Hawaii for 25 years. This is a very kickback family friendly truly Mexican restaurant. We went with another couple so we tried several things . Cocktails were good and tasty , food was very good and accurate in style and flavor. The service was spot on even though it was a busy Saturday evening. My wife's Mole' was great and my rice and shrimp was a definite dish to return for. Mary and I stopped in here for dinner tonight, our first visit. This is a new restaurant in a well-worn but comfortable building; it just has a out in the country vibe. We were greeted by friendly staff and seated. Chips and salsa came right out. I had a lime margarita which was tasty. Mary had chicken chimichanga and taco, I had a chicken chalupa and enchilada. When trying a new Mexican restaurant, I always start with the rice which gives away attention to detail; this was perfectly cooked with chunks of pepper and onion for flavor and texture, well done. The refried beans had plenty of melting cheese on top. The veggies, lettuce, onions, and tomato were completely fresh and tasty. The sauces were mild and tasty. These were large portions, and we took enough home for a full meal tomorrow. The tequila shot had the right amount of salt on the side and wedge of lime, sublime. You should get in here right away and give this place a try. read more

This place is a gem. Coming from L.A. I wanted this to be authentic and delicious Mexican food and it was. I had huevos rancheros and it was so tasty. I also had a delicious margarita. To top it off the service was great and super friendly. I hope they continue to succeed. read more

Food - decidedly fresh - guacamole as good as any we've had elsewhere; refried beans better than most any other; ground beef had wonderful seasoning and the chicken was delightful; enchiladas and burritos. Margaritas rivaled any that we've had elsewhere. Service - shout out to Sergio and Lindsey - all servers were hustling as almost every seat was occupied, but we still received attention and consideration. As busy as they were, we still were attended to and taken care of. We intend to visit again soon as the ambiance was casual but friendly and food/service well worth the price. read more

We heard about Los Tres Potrillos and it being a new restaurant in the area, so we decided to give it a try. The food was amazing, the atmosphere as well! The margaritas were perfect and we enjoyed are time there immensely. I would highly recommend this restaurant, but they are "gonna need a bigger boat".
