We came here last Tuesday as a party of 7 and the food was amazing! We enjoyed the boneless wings for an appetizer and ate few different burgers for dinner. The food was a little slow to come out, but to be expected with how many people were there on a random Tuesday. The gentleman tending to our table was very accommodating with our request. This was my husbands and I second time coming to the area for the holidays and we always make this one of our stops. This is such a great place to come and hangout with friends and family whether you're just getting drinks or in the mood for burgers! The burgers are AMAZING!! So juicy and well made! The staff is super friendly and the environment is just inviting. The beer is great and their specialty holiday drinks are not just creative and pretty but that taste so good! The only reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars is because their fish and chips only have TWO small pieces of fish for $17... that's insane. read more

Unbaised.. I will give this place a 6.5 out of 10. Pros: cool nitch spot, beer battered fries are good. ---- I got the Smashburger . I wasn't impressed. A little bit of salt and pepper goes a long way on beef. We can't just slap down raw beef on the grill fry and add some condiments to it and think it's going to be good to anyone who has had really good food. ( very biased here). I will give the burger, a 6.5 out of 10 . The quality of meat tasted pretty good.. that's about all it had going for it. ---- Service was acceptable. Nothing to ride home about no nothing to critique. --- And finally, overall, I always try and in my review without be back or not ... not sure here. Good on the slow days but yet Ok/ Decent on the busy ones. The have decent food but when the kitchen gets rushed it's seems to slack my food on a slow day was out in ten minutes and was great , on a fast day was out in 18 and was falling off with no seasoning . I wouldn't mind the wait of 12 more minutes for the quality to come out better . Kitchen staff don't rush yourself into lower quality. Your product is worth the wait read more

Food great. Service even better. Any bar that doesn't carry bud light which is the#2 beer in America but also does not carry the #1 beer has issues. Bud light is the only beer my wheat intolerant wuss of a body can have. It's rice based. I'm just surprised they don't have Modelo as well. read more

I had heard that this was the "local" favorite and decided to stop in with some friends for a snack after coming off the lake. At 8pm the only food available was fry food, that was a little disappointing but who doesn't love some wings & beer, right? Well, the boneless wings were luke warm and tasted like they were fresh out of the defrosted Schwann's box on your porch in 1995. I was offered a "side" option, of which I chose fries. After my breaded meat chunks were delivered, alone, scattered about the black and white checkered paper, my friend got the servers attention and asked about the status of my fries. Come to find out, there are no side offerings served with the reheated chicken nuggets. At 8pm on a Saturday, we were the only table, and other than when we first arrived, we had to get the attention of our server every step of the way. I want to give this local favorite another chance - maybe for lunch, but the first impression was less than favorable. read more

If I could give less stars or no stars I would! First issue it took around 30 minutes for the bartender to even check in and take our order. It wasn't that busy and she didn't even say a word to me until I asked if we could order, she rolled her eyes and then I waited another 5-10 minute for her to actually come take our order. I went in today because it is TACO TUESDAY. I order a taco bowl and they bring out a giant taco bowl. I asked to clarify if this TACO TUESDAY is different from any of the other TACO TUESDAYS and the bartender was anything but nice and very rudely told me I ordered a taco salad and that I got EXACTLY what I ordered. Mind you it is TACO TUESDAY so why she didn't at least clarify with me when taking an order on TACO TUESDAY I have no idea. This dish is twice the size and cost of the TACO TUESDAY TACO BOWL. Again I asked to clarify why I didn't get what I ordered and very rudely said again I got what I ordered. She went on to try and make me feel like I was the problem by emphasizing I said no sour cream which isn't in the taco bowl...I can't eat sour cream so as a caution I always say no sour cream with Mexican food of any type. The taco bowl I got was gross and I didn't like it but I paid my almost 60$ bill (the taco SALAD is 17$ each vs the 9$ taco BOWL). I left the whole uneaten salad sitting on the bar. Why you ask: because it didn't taste good, it wasn't what I wanted, It wasn't what I ordered on TACO TUESDAY and it was so spicy I couldn't eat anymore after three bites. Perhaps if I didn't have to wait a half hour to order then another twenty minutes for the wrong thing I wouldn't be so frustrated. Or maybe if the bartender/server wasn't so incredibly rude I wouldn't be so frustrated. Regardless, very disappointed and I've excused the slow service and errors in the past but feel compelled to share. If I said it wasn't what I wanted I feel the server should have apologized took it back and brought me what I wanted on TACO TUESDAY. Instead she came over THREE different times to tell me how I ordered wrong and got what I ordered. I saw more lip service from her telling me what I did wrong than I did actual customer service. What a disappointment this is with only a few restaurants in a small town. When I left there today I felt that the customer's food satisfaction doesn't matter to this business at all and that the staff is a little too interested in looking right to realize the customer just wanted the meal they came in on TACO TUESDAY to enjoy. I typically bring in several big groups during the year the and I feel I will need to seek out an alternate location where customer service means something. I also typically refer visitors there but will definitely send them to another establishment where they can hopefully get great customer service!!! As I have done on many occasions, I recently stopped for a beer at Kelly's. Going to Kelly's alone my experience has become rather mixed. About half of my visits there order food and the other half only a beer or two. Upon arrival for my last visit I was greeted with a lukewarm reception, which set the tone for what turned out to be a rather disappointing evening. It became quite apparent that the staff seemed more attentive and friendly to larger groups or patrons who were spending generously, while solo diners or in my case a solo drinker was largely overlooked. Was very disappointed that staff who know me and saw me didn't even bother to say hello. Being the second oldest bar in Washington open since 1894, Kelly's has a long history. And, overall, Kelly's is decent, but the service experience for solo diners or drinkers leaves much to be desired. If you're looking for a place where you feel valued regardless of your dining party size, this may not be the best choice. Although expensive for bar food, the food is satisfactory, but the lack of warmth from the staff makes it hard to recommend wholeheartedly. I might consider returning with a larger wallet for drinks AND food or for a more favorable experience come with a group. read more

Had high hopes. Cool little place but onion rings were a no show yet we paid for them and the salad we asked to have the breaded onions removed due to GF issues, the steak it turned out was also "lightly" breaded which the server did not share until I asked after several bites. Then when we got the bill and gave the server cash we received no change. We told you we were good tippers but turns out we will add a caveat that we are a little high maintenance but good tippers if we get all we ordered and the food is not contaminated with ingredients that will make me sick and you always brings change on a cash bill. So we are sorry, we did not tip well but it had a bit to be desired. Hopefully this review helps the place improve. It was a cool spot. read more

After a long day, we decided to come here for a good meal and a drink. Jaime was our server and she kicked a$$! She was training a new server all while taking care of 12 different tables. She stayed on top if drinks were low with each table. A definite asset to this place. Now onto the food and drinks....we had a local beer and a Huckleberry mojito, very tasting a refreshing. Next we had the jalapeno poppers with sweet chili sauce for dipping. Came out hot and tasty. Perfect amount to start with. Next we got the Philly cheesesteak sandwich with au jus sauce for dipping and a side salad. Great flavors! Second entree was the fish and chips. Seasoned just right to compliment the fish and came out cooked just right. A good meal that satisfied us. Will come back when we are in town. read more

My wife and I stopped in here on Saturday for lunch; this was our first visit. Covid-19 protocols were in place. We were greeted by friendly staff and seated. This establishment was clean and bright and had a nice comfortable feel given its given its continuous operation since 1894! We ordered tasty beverages which came right out. Mary had the French dip sandwich, roast beef, grilled onions, swiss and au jus, on a freshly toasted hoagie roll; tasty but standard; the fires were thick and crunch and above average. I had the Kelly cheese steak, roast beef, grilled onions, red bell peppers, mushrooms, pepper jack cheese on a toasted hoagie roll, very tasty; onion rings as the side, crisp and tasty. What a gem, this place! We had delicious beer, food and dessert! The service was wonderful. The food came out hot and fries and onion rings were perfectly crisp! Our server was awesome (don't remember his name but he has a bunch of cool Star Wars tattoos). Really a shame that the service sucks because the food is very good. We have been here twice now where the service has been terrible. 45 minutes just to get a drink. We just moved into the area and visited Kelly's for lunch. Glad we did! The server, Jamie, was FANTASTIC! Very friendly and very attentive not only to our table (we took a while to decide) but also a table of people that were a bit more high maintenance (tho friendly). I LOVE tots and these were wonderful! I had the daily special, a chicken cordon bleu wrap and it was great! Food was great and the manager was so accommodating to our large group. We called ahead to make sure they had space for all of us and they said they did. The manager really took care of us and she was so nice and hospitable. She gave great service. When we got there, the hostess with pink hair was so rude. Not friendly. Tons of attitude and eye rolls. We had little kids and that seemed to really inconvenience her. She also knew we had little kids and sat us at a high top bar table. When we asked if they had tall high chairs she huffed and puffed and brought one that wouldn't reach the table. She just really put a bad taste in everyone's mouth and put a damper on the experience for us. Might not be the best place for a large group. read more

This is the popular place to dine! Quite busy on a Wednesday evening. The servers are very efficient and helpful- they really hustle to pay attention to all their tables. The menu has a lot of variety and they offer daily specials. We are a fan of the place, but they had a lot of little misses that could easily be fixed to up their ratings. We started off with a Blue Moon for me and a Bloody Mary for the Hubbs. The BM was a work of art with asparagus, bacon, olives, and peppers. Neither of us was a fan of the mix. For appetizers, we ordered the steak bites and the Guinness onion soup. Both were good, but with a little care could have been great. The steak bites came with pita triangles and a creamy dipping sauce. And the meat was seasoned great. They lightly floured the meat to brown it, but the flour taste came through - they either need a higher heat or to brown it a bit longer. The soup was good, but the onions should have been caramelized before adding the broth for deeper flavor. We chose to split the mushroom burger. We asked for a few things on the side, and they are very accommodating, but the burgers themselves all come out the same way. When we got the burger, it was cooked more than our preference, but there were other issues. The bun (which was perfectly grilled and a lovely texture) was bigger than the burger. There were so few mushrooms we couldn't really tell they were there. Overall, it was okay. The tater tots were fine. In addition, the place was so slammed it took almost 30 minutes between the appetizers and the burgers. So overall, it was a decent meal, but so wish it could have been better. read more

I kept hearing all the locals rave about this place so I knew I wanted to try it out. Sure enough my husband and I were not let down. Amazing service. We were greeted right away even from very busy staff and then seated right away. The waitress who we later found out was new shocked us. She was so quick and on top of things we didn't realize she had just started. It is a good pub drop in spot as well as a stay awhile with the family spot. Both of us decided on the Tillamook burgers. It was the best burger I've had in a long while. We also had the jalepeno poppers for an appetizer and they too were excellent. The fries were perfect. Overall a great first impression. Stumbled across the reviews for Kelly's while driving through town. I love pub food and the historical value was a happy bonus. The ceilings are gorgeous but the food... Service was prompt and our waiter was very polite. Tables are blocked off per State regulations with hand sanitation available at the entrance. Very thoughtful. On to the food, I ordered the fish sandwich and tots, my husband the philly cheese steak also with tots. The fish was cooked to perfection, the tartar sauce is tasty, just right toasted bread. Golden delicious tater tots and fry sauce. My husband didn't talk much over lunch so that's high praise towards his meal; also why I couldn't snap a photo.
