The workers here were very friendly. They take your order at the bar and then bring the food over when it's ready. I came here for breakfast and lunch. For breakfast, I had their bangers & mash. They make their own sausage in house and have rotating flavors. I tried their bratwurst & curry chicken sausages, both were great. My husband ordered their sausage roll, which came with a crisp puff pastry and sauce. He also ordered the chip butty, which are chips on a ciabatta roll. Later in the day, for lunch, we shared a scotch egg. The scotch egg was perfectly runny and had a crisp outside. We also shared the fish & chips and ordered the cod as the fish. It tasted very fresh and flavorful. All of our food was great here. I would highly recommend this place.

I ordered the French Onion burger, and while I unfortunately forgot to snap a picture before diving in, it was amazing--smothered in rich sautéed onions, a generous slab of melted Swiss cheese, and creamy mayonnaise, all served with a side of rich au jus for dunking. Truly delicious from the first bite to the last. The decor gives the place so much personality, right down to the unique bathroom setup! You step up a couple of steep steps behind the door, and the sink is made from half of a wine barrel--definitely a fun first for me. The food was absolutely fantastic. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, with a soft, fresh bun that held everything together beautifully. Every bite was delicious. The sweet potato fries stood out as some of the best I've had--crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and seasoned just right. The ranch was thick, creamy, and so good I ended up dipping everything in it. Portions were generous, the food came out hot, and there wasn't a single thing on the plate I didn't enjoy. It was one of those meals where you're already thinking about what you'll order next time before you've even left.
