Impossible tacos
Heather J.

I was in the area on a family vacation and seeking out my two favorite items-craft beer and vegan food. This was a ways out from where we were staying, but proved to be worth the drive. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but it is nice on the inside and I was surprised to find other weekday lunch diners here. It has a full bar and an impressive tap list. I was sad to see that happy hour is still on hold related to covid, but having normal hours is a plus in my book these days. I really enjoyed my impossible tacos, vegan without alterations which is always great to see. Not sure if they are available for dinner, but I made a point to come for lunch just in case. My partner had the pork tacos and wasn't able to finish his, both meals were quite filling. I saw a couple other items on the menu that caught my interest. I'd definitely stop here again if I was in the area.

Sriracha honey wings

Great Wings! The Sriracha Honey was a perfect blend of sweet and heat! Timbertown was a tasty and smooth dark beer! Service was great too!

A nice little gem of a place in old priest river. We stopped in on our way back to sandpoint and saw a sign for it so we decided to have a late lunch. So pleasantly surprised by the nice wine and beer selection. Most places around here only offer the standard grocery store wines, or mostly cali wines. When the pnw has some of the best wines its sad to see such limited choices at other places. the Settlement puts them all to shame! I would however like to see them feature some good central Wa wines and SE Wa wines which are some of the finest in the pnw! The food was great, We ordered grilled cheese (made with goat cheese) and pulled pork mac. A nice cosmic crisp cider was really good and to nice to have icicle ridge brew on tap! We will definitely be back! Give the Settlement a try and you can also buy wine and beer to take home!

Parm fries fantastic

Good food took a bit to get our order but worth the wait. The parm fries were the bomb. Wife had a ribeye i had the mac and cheese. Both great.

Cowboy Burger
Ellen S.

This place has a great menu, great taps and selections and great service. We started with an appetizer - the crab, spinach, artichoke dip with huge pita chips. It was delicious! We also had our favorite Huckleberry Cider- so good! For our main we had the Cowboy burger with fries and The Nashville chicken with salad. The fries were not crisp and my salad was dead but the staff quickly fixed this for us and were a a solitary gracious and fantastic about it. This is a restaurant I will return to. I love Priest River!!

Best place to eat in Priest River. The salads are hearty and the pork rib eye with bacon sauce topping is our favorite.

Had a dinner meal here with friends, while traveling overnight from Banff down to Spokane. Right at…read morethe base of the Schweitzer Mountain resort must make this a popular stop for all you ski and snowboard bums out there! We sat at a high-top table and served beers while we waited for our food order. My wife and I split several dishes...a house salad, an order of hot chicken wings and a pulled pork sandwich (which came with a bag of chips). All of the food was just fine, nothing special or unique about any of it, but it served its purpose. Fun little chill bar scene inside, bet it is a fun place to hang.

It is rare for me to provide a 1-star review; typically, 2-stars is my lowest…read more But this is a horrible place. The food looked decent, but the service is something i had never experienced before. Here is example #1: We ordered beers at the bar and were to sit outside. I ordered and talked to her, and there were only 4 people at the bar with drinks already (added two pics). So i stood there, and she just went on to doing other menial things. So I asked her if we would get our beers and when. She said, "Come back in 9-10 minutes". This is very odd since she wasn't doing anything. I went out and told my friends this so one of them went and demanded them, which she then provided them. Example #2: A nice-looking couple comes in and sits at the bar. I'm inside since it got cold out. They sit there and sit there and sit there, and she never acknowledges them. 10-minutes go by, and the guy gets angry (remember, she's not doing anything!). She starts laughing at him and making fun of him for being angry. She then takes their drink order and, you guessed it, when on to other things, really nothing, but she tries to look busy somehow. i come up and asked for more beer, so she actually poured their beers since she was going to come over to this area of the bar, and then gave them the beers. Example #3: At this point, i had ordered food when i ordered the first beers, not knowing what was in store art that time. 20 min goes by, 30 min goes by, and i ask her (understand that the kitchen is open in the bar area, so you can see the cook doing nothing). I asked about it, and she goes over and tells him, so he starts to cook it at that moment. 45 min after i ordered i get my burger. Remember that there is hardly anyone in there Example #4: we had enough and wanted to leave. I see her across the bar, but she ignores me for 5-6 minutes. Finally, i just said really loud, "Please give me my bill!"...she acknowledged that but stood around and doesn't give it to me for almost 15 minutes, not exaggerating, even though I kept asking (crickets from her)...my friend comes in and yells at her, which of course made her laugh and make fun of him. My friends and i talked about this and we've experienced bad and slow service, but nothing like this, ever. Really ruined my afternoon. Went to the super nice bar across from there and had a GREAT time.

QBC is my 308th brewery! Not exactly local for us but it was a great little day trip…read more It was pretty cold so no outside seating today but no worries as QBC has a nice indoor bar area. I told the beer tender to set me up with a flight of five, while SWPFTD ordered a pint of the Angel Peak Amber. Purple Flat Top hazy IPA is a really good IPA with great hop flavor but very manageable bitterness. Peewee Falls hoppy Pilsner didn't work for me. It had a little bit of an aroma and flavor that didn't appeal. YMMV. Timber Mountain tripel was good for me. I was tempted to go with a pint of this but decided on another. Iron Mountain stout had a nice roasty chocolatey flavor to it. Very drinkable! Bangs Mountain dark Kolsch was a good beer as well. I also tried the amber which SWPFTD ordered. This was a decent little amber. SWPFTD approved. Our daughter-in-law had ordered the wassail and it was pretty cool to see they had one on. I decided to go ahead and revisit the hazy IPA. They don't have food at QBC but they had a food truck when we arrived. Lola's Good Eats was REALLY good! QBC is a great spot. Great beer and all! If anyone is a glutton for punishment, please, follow my brewery, and distillery, reviews from across the U.S. and beyond! https://www.yelp.com/collection/-8iscFkpiiCI563-FDfwGg and if anyone is wondering who SWPFTD is you will have to check out my review of Black Market Brewing Co in Temecula, CA to understand. Well, turns out it is no longer a coffee house, except that they do serve drip coffee, but I was told that they used to. Despite looking like a dive bar, kids are welcome and the server was very warm and friendly. We were only there for an appetizer and a drink while waiting for our Thai food to-go order to be cooked around the corner with a 45 minute wait. The four of us ordered the Caesar salad and my son, the chicken strips. We were in for the surprise of our life. We discovered the best Caesar salad ever made. Ever. I'm not sure how they do it, but it was so delicious we all said we'd come back just for that salad. My son reports that the chicken strips were also really good. We just never would have expected the great quality of food we were served here in this "dive bar". The beers we had were also really good. I unfortunately do not recall the names, but my wife, oldest daughter and I all loved our drinks. We are so glad we ducked in here on a cold night.
