prime rib dinner
May A.

Who could resist this deal!!! I came here because of an excellent deal extended to Sun City neighborhood - a coupon for "Prime Rib dinner 2-for-1 meal" for $12.95 offered only on Thurs nights. I thought the restaurant was only open to Sun City residents! The 10-oz steak was delicious and served with string beans and mashed potatoes. The meal included complimentary bread and a choice of soup or salad. There was quite a wait but when we were seated it was all worth it. Very nice place to dine overlooking the beautiful Timber Creek Golf Course... nice, friendly staff... great selection of food... we were told that there is also a 2 for $22 deal on Mondays which is quite popular... we'll certainly be back! Dining at the Timbers at the Lodge, Roseville

A great little gem of a restaurant located next to the Timber Creek golf course at Del Webb's Sun City in Roseville. The golf course, as well as the dining and event facilities, are open to the public. Casual attire is typical for all meals. Beautiful interior, great service, and very reasonably priced, excellent quality food. Their breakfast buffet, very nicely presented, is only $4.95, available Mon-Sat until 10:30am. Sunday brunch is extremely popular, with unlimited Mimosa's. Desserts are every bit as good as the main courses. Lunch and dinner offers a nice selection of fish, chicken, and meat entrees, all well prepared and presented. If you want a change of pace and get away from the strip malls and shopping centers of Roseville, and want to dine in a relaxed atmosphere with views of the golf course, this restaurant won't disappoint. The elegant restored bar in the lounge was built in New York and brought by ship in the late 1800's to California and installed in the Auburn Opera House. The Opera House was long ago closed, with the bar being saved and eventually being sold, refurbished, and installed in the Timbers Lodge. The bar is well stocked with very reasonably priced drinks. The prime rib dinner special is probably their most popular weekly event. Visit the Timbers web site to view all of their latest offerings. So many country clubs allow only members to enjoy their dining facilities. We are fortunate that the Timbers is open to the public, and with such great prices for the value received. For something a bit unique, visit the Timbers and enjoy a very pleasant meal.

Hole #13

This course well exceeded my expectations. Really nice practice area and grass driving range. The golf course was in perfect condition. I like how there's ice cold water on every hole. It was a hot 99 degree day. Nice mixture of par 3s. Greens were rolling true.

Played Timber Creek today checked in at 5:40 pm. Done at 8:45 great pace of play. Thanks to the pro shop staff for getting us out. Course played to 6480 yds from the back tees. Track meanders through the house's at Sun City. Fairways are in great shape. Greens a little bumpy but still had some pace to them. Front side is the easiest of the two. Most par 3 holes played 135 yards. Par fours played 320 to 466 yards. Hole 7 is 466 slight dogleg right play tee ball to right side of fairway to cut down distance of seconds shot. All in all fun course. If in the Roseville area give it a go.

Sunset view on 18. Wasn't nearly as dark as the picture makes it out to be.

My favorite course in the Roseville area. Greens always roll perfectly and are in great shape. Can be a little challenging. Waterfalls and great views everywhere. Pace of play has never been a problem for me here and the staff is very friendly . It is a little pricy but you can find a good deal if you look. They have a huge bar and restaurant area as well.

Great golf course with great vibes. Super clean and simple course...no flashy additional stuff going on, just golf carts and golfing.

Love this course. But $75 for an 11 am tee with aerated greens, fairways, and tee boxes is pushing it.

This place is pretty cool. There are public bays and private rooms. They had fans and speakers in…read morethe private room. I really liked the software too. You can see the swing and the contact on the ball. It was really helpful.

I'm a golf enthusiast. Play at least 2X / week. I'm a golf ball tester for an on-line golf forum…read more I wanted to get data on several brands of golf balls. So I booked a session here. It was my first ever visit. It's easy to book a session via the website. Pre-pay and heaven code is sent to open the locked doors. This business is open 24/7. It is unmanned. The place is squeaky clean. It's well organized. As a newbie I did have a steep learning curve to launch the game console and the projection system. I've never played video games. After 15 minutes of button pushing the control monitor and flubber-dubbering I finally got it up and running. So #1 recommendation: offer customers the assistance of an employee who teaches a newbie how to run the simulator. If it would cost an extra $15 that would be a good value. I had a planned routine to test 5 different golf balls. I ended up having to swing 125 shots for the record and another 30 for warm-up and repeats when I flubbed a swing or when the Uneekor system did not correctly track the shot. That took 75 minutes. I only paid for an hour session. The system did not lock me out after the 60 minute session expired. My one criticism is the responsiveness of the operating system. It was S...L...O...W... Choosing a routine such as a driving range took the machine at least 2 minutes to launch. I poked the touch screen multiple times to choose a function with no beep feedback response nor the function launching. I don't know if the machine (Bay #1) was glitchy or if this is the usual quality. Once I got the system to work, the simulator did track the ball flight and display the data pretty quickly. So will I use this facility for practice or a simulated round of golf? Probably not. The allure of golf for me is being outside in the sunshine, breathing fresh air. So being in a dark room smashing golf balls into a movie screen is a completely different experience. I will return if I'm tasked again to test golf equipment that requires data gathering.
