Fun time in the private room.
    Dave L.

XP Golf is a good alternative when it's hot outside. Today it was 108 degrees so we opted to try this new spot. We booked a private room which was well appointed. It had a coffee machine, water dispenser, & two sofas. Very relaxing. The golf simulator is not a top of the line Trackman and not nearly as accurate. I've been fitted at several places like IGolf in Rancho where they have a Trackman simulator. My son and I found the simulator unit to record distance in ball yardages that are off by about 15 yards versus real life at the range or using a Trackman. The simulator is easy to use. You do need to pay attention and place your ball near the two cut out holes and the computer will "ding" to let you know it's ready. I have a Swing caddie-sc200 which I use at the range. That unit records distances much closer to the Trackman. All in all it was fun time to hang out. When it's hot or rainy out this is a good option instead is sitting at home.

Chill place to bring a speaker and hang out with your buddies. Has coffee and private bays.

This isn't me, I wish I could hit this far. But here's the sim setup

Very fun experience, I am a bit iffy about getting 4 chip ins on an 18 hole round but other than that this place helped me fix my swing

Once I got the system to work, the simulator did track the ball flight and display the data pretty quickly.

Surprised…read morebecause this Roseville owned golf course is in much better shape than the other city muni course Woodcreek. I played Woodcreek last week, the course is in poor condition. The practice driving range is an absolute shit show with blasting hard rock music from giant speakers mounted on the ball machine shed. Back to Diamond... Nice greeting at desk from a happy employee. Gave me the basic information. I walked the course and pushed my trolley. Fairways in decent shape. Drives roll out nicely. The putting greens are slow but smooth. Most have interesting undulations so that competent green reading skills are a must if you want to 2 putt. Pretty much a wide open course. A 20 handicap hacker won't loose too many balls. The sparse amount of trees rarely come into play unless you shank a drive into the next fairway over. Bunkers actually have sand in them enough to give a decent chance to get the ball out without skulling it across the green. $31 for senior walking before 1:00pm. After 1:01pm green fee is $25. The quality to price ratio is good. My home course is Timber Creek in Del Webb Sun City Roseville. Green fee there is almost double the price. I think that I'll become a Diamond Oaks regular because at the price I can afford to play 3 times / week.

My boyfriend and I have been coming to this golf course frequently for years, we come to play today…read morewith our other two friends and we both rented golf carts because we are all older than 21 which you have to be 21 to have a cart in the first place, a new cart girl who barely spoke English comes up to us and our other two players and takes all our drinks from us that we purchased and wouldn't give it back to us. Later we find out that she told the other workers that one of our players had a high school polo shirt on and she told them that she asked for our IDs and we refused to give them to her, we would've been happy to show her we were all above age but she never asked us for our IDs at all, and told one of the workers that were under age and to not give us our drinks back and then left before we could pick them up from the shop that she told us to pick up at when we were done. We love this course and have been coming for years but it's very disappointing that false information was being accused along with having our personal property taken without properly verifying the situation. We were never asked to present our IDs, and would have happily shown them if we had been. Being accused of refusing something that never even happened was frustrating and unfair. We understand and respect the importance of checking IDs and following policies, but the way this situation was handled felt unprofessional and based on incorrect assumptions. We hope management can address this so it doesn't happen to other customers in the future. We've always enjoyed coming here and would like to continue, but experiences like this definitely take away from that.

I was on the planning committee, and was happy we choose this venue. During set up, their staff was there to assist us with tables, table clothes, big displays, podiums, colored napkins to match our school colors and much more, all with good cheer and willingness. Their suggestions were very welcomed. The dinner was not just good, it was excellent. We offered attendees a choice of 5 different entrees, and each table was served all at the same time, and first table to last was under 5 minutes. Considering we were a big group (there were 107 of us) they serviced us well. They let us use their bar as a 'no host' bar, and the drinks were good and fairly priced. The food quality really was excellent. It was every bit as good as going to a fine restaurant and ordering off the menu. No one complained about anything, from the filet mignon to the squash ravioli. All of us were quite pleased. They even accommodated a few gluten-free meals and the like. The setting is also quite beautiful. They let us use their big patio right off the dining room for a memorial table and to hang out, and everybody commented on how nice the golf course looked. If you are in need of a nice venue, I would suggest you give them a buzz. Their Events Manager, Joel Chavez took good care of us.

Would have been very upset if I would have shown up with my family to have Mothers Day and turned away, especially coming form Southern CA. Maybe they should advise people who are representing this event, make it clear as to who is invited. The person I spoke to certainly did not. Maybe dodged a bullet though, person I spoke to initially said there was construction or something to that effect going on and it wasnt going to be in the regular clubhouse location.
