Like the location and It is very convenient for me to grab a coffee after dropping kid of at day care and on the way to work. This Tim Hortons is horrible!!!! I asked for an Ice Capp with extra whipped cream. I get charged .50 extra for the whipped cream. I get up to the window and they didn't put any whipped cream on it at all. I got an attitude from the employee when I asked for whipped cream. She gave me a quarter size amount of whipped cream and when I said I paid for extra whip, she said you can talk to my manager if you want instead of just giving me the cream I paid for. Nowadays they charge more and the quality and customer service are for shit! I will never visit that Tim Hortons location again! I see they have a 1 rating on Yelp. I went to Tim Hortons ordered a decaf coffee and was told they were out of decaf and didn't know when they would get it again. When pressed the clerk said she had magically located some decaf but would not make me any. I went down the road to Dunkin donuts where they made me decaf coffee with grace. This is a combined location with a Wendys restaurant. My hubby and I stopped here and actually had time to go inside for lunch. Wendy's had an electrical problem and weeds not serving people so we went to Tim's. Food was excellent!! My hubby ordered the ham and cheese sandwich meal with kettle chips and an orange drink. He said that the ham and cheese was perfect. The kettle chips were actually homemade fresh. It was served warm. So yummy that I had to help him eat them. He said his orange drink was delicious too. I had the Bacon Chicken Ranch Wrap meal with a French Cruller donut and a large sweet Tea. My wrap was very delicious. Of course I helped my husband with his kettle chips so I kept my donut for my dessert. My tea was perfectly sweetened and fresh brewed. Ordered oatmeal, 2 bagels, Timbits, coffee, and an iced cap. Took about 15 minutes, then I had the privilege to watch them get my "homestyle" oatmeal. They scraped it from the bottom of the pan that was probably sitting all morning then proceeded to add some completely foreign substance. I asked about it and was told it was brown sugar. It looked like rat poison to me... Why not just use real ingredients? Wake up people, we're poisoning ourselves with processed garbage food. read more

Rude, rude, rude. I have been in practically every Tim Horton's on the east side, and this one is the very worst. The employee who "helped" me treated me like dirt. All I did was ask for a donut and he gave me a look like I'd killed his dog. He said nothing to me, until he told me the amount, then started to close the door without giving me my change. I asked for it, and again, he acted totally disgusted that he had to deal with anyone interrupting his conversation with a coworker and handed me my change without a word. Then walked away. I will never be back. I can buy better donuts at the Krogers across the street, and they don't act like jerks. read more

If you go through the drive thru, this place isn't too bad. Obviously, Tim Hortons isn't meant to be a 5-star establishment and I think a few of the other reviews are a bit harsh....but everyone has different experiences. Perhaps it's because it shares space with Wendy's....I dunno. Bad mojo. I did stop at Wendy's for a bite and then mosied over to Tim Hortons to look at their donut selection. It was pretty scarce. It is what it is.....if you know of a better TH location....go there. I like to stop her to get coffee and/or a donut sometimes if I'm headed to Newark. As usual, the yelp rating is spot on. New to the area and this was a first visit to Tim Hortons. They were out of the advertised special; a fajita wrap, also out of kettle chips, the coffee machine was broken so no latte, cappuccino, etc. Still really wanting to try the place out, I order a soup and sandwich combo. This place has been slipping down hill for years. Today was the last straw. Ordered at drive through like always to pull up and have to have my order cancelled and reordered because it was wrong and they tried giving my someone else's food. Today, my order was cancelled three times, and it still wasn't right. Never charged and two breakfast sandwiches with uncooked bacon. . The last three or four times there also, there is a girl in the background of the window (making drinks?) who always talks over the guy at the window, or me, and is very rude with her comments to the other employees. My credit card was swiped three different times for probably the worst breakfast I have ever had. My kids are adults now and we used to stop here every morning on their way to school when (Lisa) worked the window. She was friendly and efficient and I always knew I would get good service. This is the worst EVER! The eggs are always burnt, the bacon is fatty and chewy and even though I order my coffee the same way every time it's always different (either too sweet or not sweet at all). Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! I will NEVER return to this Tim Hortons again! When my husband and I moved to New Albany nearly 8 years ago, we got soup and sandwiches here at least 3 nights a week. As time went on, this location began to run out of everything. I would go through the drive through at 7:00 pm and be told they were out of soup and bread for sandwiches. Really?!?!?! I called the corporate office and was given the phone number of the regional manager. I spoke with her at least twice a few years ago and was promised that it would be addressed. She even asked me to ask for the shift manager's name the next time I was told they were out of something as she suspected some items were there but just not prepped to be served. I have lived in New Albany all my life and it is a tradition of my family's to go to this Tim Horton's every time after our Sunday morning church services. Every time they get our order wrong. No matter how small or how rudimentary our order is they always find a way to not give me what I asked for. At this point I very well believe they're just guessing. Next, I had a very sour encounter with one of their employees. One morning me and my girlfriend decided to go here for breakfast. When I entered the establishment I saw a young boy leaning back on the counter texting. I approached the counter to make my presence known and he continued to ignore me. Finally I said, "I'd like to order." He quickly sent off his last text and slouched ready for service, I then browsed the donut case and decided on four. When I told him which donuts I wanted I accidentally listed off the wrong donut name this punk kid smirked and scoffed at me. The reason I named the wrong donut was because they had had their signs switched around. I then ordered the correct one, paid, and sat down to eat. As I was on my third to last donut I found a nice thick hair in it and politely walked up to the counter to show one of the co workers. She carelessly said, "Well what do you want me to do about it?" To which I replied, "There's a hair in my donut." Her older supervisor stepped in and I turned to show her and she quickly jumped to the response of "Well we can't give you a refund or a new donut." I then told her, "I don't want a refund," and left. An apology goes a long way. Since this experience I have boycotted the Tim Hortons in New Albany and I suggest all readers do the same. read more

Why do I have to ask for napkins 60% of the time, when I go through the drive thru.When we order bagels toasted with butter or donuts with frosting,or anything for that matter at the drive thru,of course we will need napkins.Also about 20% of the time when we are on the road we discover the order is not correct.To late to turn back.And yet when I question them to make sure The right items are in the bag,they are cocky about why I would ask.I ask because the order is often wrong.When we are lucky and receive the correct food and drink order,it is usually awesome.The last thing I want to complain about is the new contest where you roll the rim of the cup down in two places to see if you have won a prize.Out of about 50 cups no prizes yet.The last time they ran a similar contest,we would win something about every 5 cups.It is not worth the effort to roll the lip down on this very stingy contest. read more
