For a gas station Sheetz really is pretty decent... Especially this one. It has a drive-through for its food. That's always a bonus. Gas prices are fairly competitive with the gas station across the street. They have an excellent rewards program if you download their app. Inside they have a fast food restaurant in the form of the kiosks. I put a food order in via their app for drive-through. I then waited for eleven minutes at their drive-through window with no one coming to the window (Supervisor Mytchel looked right at me four times, but never came to the window, never motioned that it would be a moment, never sent anyone over). Finally, tired of wasting my time and gas, I drove out of the drive-through lane, parked and went inside. I told Mytchel the situation and he said they were understaffed. I pointed out to him that he looked right at me four times and did nothing. I asked him if eleven minutes at the drive-through window was acceptable to him? Well I don't get out to gas stations much the past couple of years driving an EV but I'd visited Sheetz in other states and found them clean, fast good eatz and convenient. My first visit was for coffee and to check out the layout, it's a triple threat, gas, convenience store groceries, a made-to-order restaurant with a tended barista bar for your caffeine fix. The store offers the usual snacks, drinks, beer with some regional items from their roots in Altoona PA. My visit for coffee was really good and fairly priced compared to other corporate coffee vendors. I returned another day to try out their food offerings, you can either order ahead via their app or use the in store touchscreen kiosks to place your order and pay for it. You can customize almost everything they offer to your own tastes, once your choices are made your printed receipt assigns you a number for your order which is both called out when it's done and displayed on a screen in the waiting/dining area. Burgers, Chicken sammiches, Hot Dogs, Fried foods of every style and 24/7 B'fast is what makes up the menu. Opted for a custom burger and a 'app sampler' with Wisconsin Cheese Bites, Pickle chips and Mac n' Cheese bites my fried food overdose of the month. Wait time wasn't too long during my visit and I found a nice table outside to enjoy the eatz. Is it worth driving across town for, no, but if it's in your neighborhood (and soon will be with their expansion plans) it's an edge above the usual fast food fare. I'm happy to see this chain moving into the area since they make the usual gas station convenience store seem pale in comparison. Can't beat that low fuel price, that drew me in. Add in the extra $0.15 off a gal for first 90 days. Brand new. Open only 2 days. I could have used a hospitality employee out front to answer questions and offer guidance. Every question I asked of an employee resulted in calling for a manager. I understand, it's new and training is fresh. The fuel discounts weren't working at the pump and had to be adjusted at the counter. Amenities include a cold beverage cooler. Self serve check outs. Made to order food menu. Not to mention a drive thru for that menu food. Tip* Pay attention to the pump number you use. The view from inside of the pumps is blocked by large displays of merchandise. I look forward to returning for the discount fuel, and trying out the other areas as the business matures. read more

I placed a drive through order at 4:52, I sat until 5:27 in the drive through waiting. The man in front of me had to go in and get his order too. I could hear the drive through bell dinging through the window. I go in and ask for my order, which the tag showed was ready at 5:02 and the girl tells me they have no way of knowing orders are there. I'm sorry but I could hear the bell. There was a line of cars and she was obviously making the drive through orders, how stupid can one possibly be? Drive through orders are coming in, you're making the orders, but are too stupid to realize you have to give those orders to the people waiting???? Ridiculous! The tacos I got were cold by the time I received them and had to be thrown out because they were soggy and gross. I don't understand how you can have a person that is working the drive through, taking drive through orders too stupid to realize you have to then give people the orders. I'm not one to leave reviews for places but this was just too dumb not to share. Decided to go grab an energy drink and food with my boyfriend after our night shift and went out to the car to eat our food and talk in peace for a while before we drove off. After I had gotten to the car to put the food in it I had to go back into the building to use the restroom. On my way in this worker (an older lady, I think, I couldn't tell) had turned around as I was walking by the self checkouts and had said "Did you pay for your monster?" As she stood next to one of the screens with a monster that had been scanned but not paid yet for. I responded, "I didn't get a monster I got an Alani." I then pointed to the other checkout next to the one she was standing at and said "we also hadn't checked out at that one we checked out at this first one". I then went to the bathroom and came back out to the car. That wasn't the initial issue. But we had been sitting out in the car for a little while eating and as we were talking I noticed that we were being stared at from inside the store. The lady was just watching us talk in our car and would continue doing it frequently. We weren't doing anything wrong, there were no signs that had displayed "no loitering" anywhere. We were doing what a lot of young people do when going to grab food at a gas station, getting caught up in conversation before leaving. She wouldn't stop walking around the store watching us from the inside. She was talking to associates and pointing at us, clearly making a big deal out of it. We decided it was annoying and that we were going to be in our way. As he was going to his car I glanced over and saw that one of the employees was standing next to the lady with a phone to their ear looking at us and the lady was looking at our cars and repeating something back to the other, I'm assuming getting details. I don't know if they were calling the cops or what, I would hope not.. because in what world were we disturbing anyone. Our lights weren't blinding anyone, we weren't making noise, no music.. just minding our business. It's just pathetic to see someone clearly bored enough to be that an*l about something as little of importance as that. Really unprofessional. I would hope, being that they were on the clock, that they wouldn't have that much time on their hands to be watching a couple sit in their car to talk for however long. Get a life. read more

The store was clean and well organized. I ordered a spicy chicken with habanero and also Dr. Pepper BBQ on the side. It was crispy so I appreciated it. The biscuit was also good. It was soft and had butter in it. I did not care for the fries but they weren't disgusting either. I think they just needed some seasoning. The staff was fine. Sheetz New Albany great gas prices. Food terrible food was burnt over cooked, hotdog cold and slime yet greasy. Steak sub very little meat and that was on only half of the sub. Would not recommend eating at this sheets location. I also ate at the sheetz in Delaware on route 36, the food there was good and fresh. read more

Sheetz is not your average gas station. It's definitely a convenience store that makes good made to order food. Be sure to grab a free rewards card for savings on gas and food items. I love getting their breakfast sandwiches with mini hashbrowns or even a wrap. The smoothies are top notch.
