The best way I can describe this restaurant is that it gives you a feeling of community. It was clear to me I was dining with a bunch of regulars since one of the people at the table next to me walked up and grabbed a can of pop from the refrigerator behind the counter, cracked it open and told Diane to add it to her ticket. Another guy at a different table got up and served himself coffee. I noticed someone else walking out from behind the bar when we walked in. I'm not sure what she was doing, but apparently it's understood when you're a regular that you're also family. I had a soup and my friend who was with me had a BLT. We were both extremely happy with our food and service. We grabbed a table near the door when we first walked in because I like to sit on the perimeter my first time visiting a place. Truth be told, I was out looking at houses before taking a break at Cousin's. If I didn't want to move to Lockport before, I sure as heck want to now!
