Right next to Backcountry I have bought many treats from here (as you can see this is a bakery) and the place is great. Whether you need a light snack, like a healthy cookie, or something a bit bigger, like a sandwich, this place has you covered. One of my favorites is the pretzel they make, it is so good, and I just want to rip it apart every time I have it and I am driving away, I think... maybe I should have gotten an extra one. They serve coffee here as well, and sell loaf's of bread. The staff is great here as well, no seating inside, this is a place where you will occasionally line up, but it moves along fast, and it is so worth your while when you are here in Squamish.

They forgot to make my sandwich, and after waiting for about 15 minutes I asked about it. They were very apologetic, made the sandwich quickly, and added in a free cookie. We all make mistakes sometimes, but when an establishment tries to make up for it, it is very nice. The sandwich was good, but the Nanaimo bar tasted like the same one I bought from Whole Foods. It's a very nice place to sit and chat quietly with great views, big windows, and a chill vibe.

The bars come as milk or dark chocolate with dried fruits and nuts pressed into them or just nuts or biscuit pearls or are sprinkled with sea salt. As someone who cannot digest dairy, it was wonderful to see that the dark chocolate bars are vegan and contain no dairy. We also had a chance to chat with the friendly owner and it was a great experience. A few weeks ago we visited Squamish again and were happy to see that the chocolate bars still look amazing. We bought a bunch of bars and now have a decent stash to last for a while and to give as gifts. Though it's hard to moderate when the bars taste so good. Thank you, Xoco Chocolate!

The dark chocolate bars with roasted nuts and dried fruits is one of favorites. The quality of the dark chocolate is very good and the bars taste as good as they look. The dark chocolate is vegan. It's a cute shop and the owner and staff are great. They also have milk chocolate bars and beautiful chocolate confections. We're dark chocolate fans so we haven't tried them. We stop every time we're up that way.

A few people had laptops and books out and appeared quite settled in at the few tables inside. There was plenty of additional seating in the outdoor patio though, so we were able to quickly grab two seats. Service was super friendly. FOOD // We got a 12oz latte and a maple walnut donut to share. The donut was delicious - so fluffy! - and the latte was also made well, balanced and a good accompaniment to the donut. If we weren't so full, I would've been tempted to get another donut... Next time!

This visit was the absolute charm. I found my new favourite donut here - the Maple Walnut. So amazing. This cafe puts Squamish on the map. At times the lineup is long but steadily moving. It's very busy here so don't expect too much peace & quiet one might find at other coffee shops. The surrounding location is a great place to wonder around & take a nice walk. The views of the world famous Stawamus Chief Mountain from outside this cafe are stunning. Shannon Falls is less than 10 minutes away. Service here is laid back & small town chill.

We had to wait so long that we had to go down to the coffee shop down a few stores to get lattes and pastries (Sunflower Bakery & Cafe I recommend hands down) while we waited. The server had an attitude and was the only person taking the orders and busing the tables (the dishes from other tables were not picked up). Yes one person managing the customers but I honestly felt she had time to pick up the dishes around other tables and ask if we needed any coffee or water. There were no other customers after us that came in. The few that did walk in were told the restaurant was closed. There was one syrup container and that my son had to ask to barrow from the other table still finishing up the meal. The potatoes on our plate seemed like they were from a frozen bag and reheated on a pan, no taste or seasoning on them. Sausages were not seasoned and no flavor to them. The pictures on the previous reviews do not compare or come close to what we were served. We scanned the menu which included typical breakfast options such as eggs, bacon, ham and sausage, breakfast sandwiches as well as omelettes. I unfortunately have a gluten allergy (celiac) and asked the server if they had gluten free toast (which they have but do not offer it on the menu). The hash-browns unfortunately are tossed in flour before deep frying (which was not listed on the menu) so I was given the alternative to have French fries (which were fried in the same oil) and I didn't necessarily want French fries for breakfast. When the food arrived my brother in laws breakfast sandwich smelt and tasted sour. It was the ham that was on the sandwich so he did not finish the sandwich. My eggs were cooked fine, but definitely at their expiration date. We are travelling from Ontario and have eaten so many amazing meals while visiting and this one did not meet the expectations that we have. Hopefully this will help the owners and staff to make the improvements they so desperately need moving forward.
