Can't come to Canada and not try Tim Hortons, so that's what we did on a chilly and rainy morning in Banff. This is probably the Canadian equivalent of Dunkin' Donuts, with a slightly more extensive menu when it comes to sandwich, soups and sides. The shop was busy, but the line was moving pretty fast. My target was clear -- the Timbits! I got a black coffee to balance the sweetness as well. Overall very solid donut holes and some of them even have fillings. Not the healthiest choice with all the sugar, but definitely enjoyable!

This is a Canadian version of Dunkin' Donuts. We got some donut holes and black coffee. There's seating inside but it gets packed. Value wise, it's not bad but I don't find it incredible.

What trip to Canada is complete without a trip to TIm Horton's, eh? While we were dismayed to learn they did not offer poutine, they did have many other tasty options that were pleasantly different than all the fast food you find in the United States. We enjoyed the Blackberry Yuzu Quencher, which was like blackberry soda, and the amazing fresh baked cookies, including rocky road which were so tasty. They also had a number of different chicken wraps, which seem to be ubiquitous in Canada. We also tried a few other sandwiches which were like miniature subs. The potato wedges were also good. (I made the mistake of calling them fries and the employee advised me that they didn't have fries, only potato wedges.) Service was quick even though this location was really busy. The restaurant was pretty dirty, but that is understandable given the hordes of people coming through Banff at the height of the tourist season. The prices were relatively affordable based on what we got. By the end of the trip the kids were arguing about whether Tim Horton's was the best fast food restaurant they had ever been to. Four stars of Canadian fast food goodness.

"You don't know what you got until it's gone." I grew up in Buffalo, New York but moved to Los Angeles, California about six and a half years ago. Now that I can't get Tim Hortons regularly, I am suddenly obsessed with it. I dream about medium and large double double coffees. I drool at the thought of a plain bagel toasted with cream cheese. Luckily for me, I am able to have these needs met every time I go to Banff (and whenever I go back to Buffalo for visits). I have been to this particular Tim Hortons more times than I can count. Pretty much every time we passed this Tim Hortons, whether it was on the way to an adventure, before the Banff Marathon, or on our way back from an adventure, we made a stop at Tim Hortons. Of course I ordered a double double and a bagel. When I was feeling extra, I ordered a donut. I will say the timeliness of receiving your order - and the customer service - will vary depending on the time of day/how crowded it is. There is a parking lot here but again, it can be pretty busy. No matter, I hope to visit this Tim Hortons - and Tim Hortons everywhere - several more times to come.

People always say you have to try Tim Hortons when you come to Canada so that's what I did. The service at the Banff location was a bit unwelcoming and aggressive. The staff here was not friendly at all. I ordered a green tea and I didn't realize that they gave me a peppermint tea until I was already well on the road. The timbits were basically just donut holes. Cool that there were other flavors but nothing amazing. I did enjoy the maple pecan dream donut. It was filled with a creamy custard and topped with candied pecans and a drizzle.

Busy but quick service. Way better coffee than Starbucks. Breakfast selections to choose from: donuts, parfait, breakfast sandwiches and wraps. Def bang for your buck compared to Micky D's. Ordered 2 meal breakfast sandwiches with regular ice cap and coffee, 2 donuts, a box of 10 snow balls and an apple fritter. Paid 22 for everything. Wish they had TH in Florida.

Since Tim Hortons was on things to try when looking up what to have when in Canada we came here. Not sure what we expected but it definitely just turned out to be a fast food type of experience lol. Food was quick and easy and that's about it. Service was fast workers were nice but not sure I'd make it a point to come here when I'm in town again unless i wanted something fast and easy.

I used the kiosk to order. You are able to customize each order. However the servers get my order wrong. The wrap was not supposed to contain egg but it did. Overall the food was average. The bagel tasted like toasted supermarket bagged bagel. The apple fritter was terrible, not even close to one from a donut shop.

Soup Sandwiches to the rescue!!…read more After a day of hiking and exploring in the Mountains, we were tired, sore, and hangry. Noshing throughout the day we were set on a good soup and sandwich combo. We checked multiple locations and either it was high-end foo foo or just more than we want or just worse. It was pub grub and they had one soup and they weren't sure what it was. We found Wild Flour. They offer multiple soups and sandwiches and a few treats. Kathy selected a carrot fennel bowl (massive) and served with fresh bread and butter, I had a meat and cheese grilled cheese on a focaccia bread, Of course we "shar-zies" and the comfort was enjoyed. The team at 630pm was helpful and prompt guided us as we had not eaten at Wild Flour. Good food, reasonably priced for Banff is a find. Go to Wild Flour and enjoy... we did.

The almond paste is to die for - clearly amongst the best. Sweet and rich but not too sweet. Clearly they bake it themselves and it's very substantial. I tried the apple pie cinnamon oat tea latte. Yes the name is a mouthful. It is an amazing drink. Wonderful taste! Good place to stop by and hang out in the morning. Not crowded and people are just hanging out on their laptops etc.

Coffee is more than tea. And you couldn't find their menu on Yelp either. I was dumbfounded to pay $65 for 2 small BF dishes . Lesson learned theres a reason why no price anywhere for you to find out afterwards. The owner was friendly but...I would never sit down to anywhere ever again if no prices on the item. You would never thought BF plate is the same as full meal dinner. It's very telling now that I remember you asked each table ( only 4 tables) where they're from. Local or tourist. It's very dishonest & why you don't display prices for your menu anywhere before they order. A-lot more BF restaurants in downtown Banff for half of what you're charging. We wanted to try the local small restaurant out of no where, never crossed our mind it's a robbery highway for a small tiny portion (we're Asian) but grossly inflated price which you know it is that's why you're not putting it anywhere.

I love their fig cookies. They are always fresh and delicious. The menu is on a higher price end now, but quality is still good to try sometimes. However service is not good at this location. Girls were rude and not willing to help in friendly manner. Plus our cappuccino was almost cold. The cost is already higher end and if you don't tip 20% or more the girls make faces and don't even respond after that. Not many seats to sit so it's a take away mostly so 20% and above tip doesn't justify specially with that kind of bad service. Will I be there again? Yes just for the fig cookies.
