Kathy selected a carrot fennel bowl (massive) and served with fresh bread and butter, I had a meat and cheese grilled cheese on a focaccia bread, Of course we "shar-zies" and the comfort was enjoyed. The cost is already higher end and if you don't tip 20% or more the girls make faces and don't even respond after that. Not many seats to sit so it's a take away mostly so 20% and above tip doesn't justify specially with that kind of bad service. Will I be there again? Yes just for the fig cookies. Even though this Tim Horton's location is spacious, it had a line out the door. Summer time is peak season for tourism in Banff and of course everyone wants their coffee drink. After being out in the sun all day, I just wanted something cold and got me a Cold Brew coffee. Tim Hortons offers many of your basic espresso drinks that you would find on any coffee house menu. I also ordered a paper bag from the kiosk and when I asked where my bag was, he told me to pay for it first. I don't know why he did not look carefully over the receipt so I had to grab the extremely hot food with my hands on account of not knowing how long he would take giving me a bag. This encounter led to our group being late to our 5 am bus to Lake Moraine. Do yourself a favor and go to Tim Hortons the night before and order some food to prevent such a catastrophic morning.
