Megan was polite and took our drink and food orders with no issue. After she brought my friend his food order, however, she did not return to our table until I sought out another server and told her I never received my food - approximately 25 minutes later. I understand food is sometimes ready at different times, but Meygan did not acknowledge I had not received my food, nor did she come back to check up on us, ask if we needed refills, or provide me with an update regarding my food order and why it was taking so long. Once we asked for the check, and after my friend had finished his meal, my food finally arrived - 40 minutes after I placed my order. Meygan gave a simple "sorry" and attempted to walk away before we again asked for the check. Furthermore, we had to request my meal be removed from the tab, as it sat there uneaten. Negative experiences like this can easily be remedied by better service. Unfortunately Meygan and her co-workers were unwilling to acknowledge the above-listed missteps, nor were they willing to attempt to remedy the problem. This situation was likely exacerbated by the lack of a management presence and the lethargic attitude of the servers and other employees who were lounging around while we and other diners needed assistance. read more

I usually stick to sitting at the bar cause I dont want to risk getting some bad service but today's visit was outstanding. The waitress tending to me did a fantastic job and was very attentive towards my visit. Gave kudos to the manager (Joe) and he was not surprised by her praise. The food was also great I had the mushroom swiss burger and it was cooked to perfection, highly recommended. Been to tilted kilt in other cities and I am pleased that the one in my town is the best "Thus Far".... read more

Absolutely atrocious. I would give it zero stars if I could. I ordered the chicken tender wrap. What came out was a tough burnt tortilla shell with half melted provolone cheese (not suppose to have provolone) with some lettuce that was weeks past and one (1) tiny chicken tender that seems like it was cooked weeks ago. Didn't come with sauce and ranch like it was suppose to. Absolutely will NEVER go back. Poor service all around. We waited 10 minutes for silverware after our food was delivered when the restaurant was nearly empty. The music level is so loud that you have to scream at the person next to you and hope they can understand you. read more

Our server wasn't a fan of smiling so I took off one star. The draft beer was about $1 overpriced so I took of another star. Service was prompt even though she was not friendly in any way, but that's pretty on par with Laredo. Food was decent enough. Won't be back though. Too pricey for average food and average service. read more

10/14/17 on a friday picked Tilted Kilt Pub to watch Astros bs NY Yankees game at 7pm to enjoy drinks and dinner. Seasonal beer was on menu but not available, Samuel Adams Boston not available either. We placed 2 orders for fish and chips and waitress came back to give us more bad news saying they were out of fish. This place was not full or busy .The manager was in the front entrance mingling with the female employees instead of communicating with his staff that some menu items were not available and avoid ordering items that were sold out.After complaining to the manager we got a $20% discount off our ticket. This is THE WORST Tilted Kilt I go to Tilted Kilts allllll over - so I was excited when they opened near my home in Laredo. So my wife and I went - IT IS ABSOLUTE TRASH THE WORST TILTED KILT EVERRR EVERY TILTED KILT has pool tables and dart boards and some have shuffle boards - NOT THIS PIECE OF SHIT, SHITHOLE And they charge absolutely horrid overpriced beer and specialty drinks....just an absolute abysmal trash heap I mean, what dumbass general contractor would build a Tilted Kilt WITH NONE OF THE TILTED KILT ASPECTS?!? So they walk around in kilts - woohoo - absolutely ZERO games to play while drinking a beer! A sports bar has pool tables and darts and etc....NOT THIS SHITHOLE read more

Painfully slow and inattentive service. Managers walking by without addressing and correcting issues. We ate there twice once was good and the the other was below average. Long waits and cold food are not a good combination. This is a typical new restaurant launch in Laredo that needs more time and training to correct. read more

Went in for happy hour and walked out an unhappy customer! Service was substandard. The appetizer was nothing like the menu picture and lacked any effort to make it appetizing or flavorful. A day later I checked my bank statement and the bartender had added to her tip. Took it up with the manager and the "mistake" was corrected with a sorry and a gift card for the amount overcharged. I came here less then a year ago when this place opened. It was packed. Seemed liked the whole city of Laredo was trying to get in. I wasn't impressed. Tonight, you could closed half this place and it still wouldn't be full. Could it be the overpriced food? Bad service? Or maybe the dirty knife and fork they give you rolled up in a paper napkin. If they didn't bait and switch you with the items on the menu it might not be that bad. Well time to make a mental note.....Do not come here again! Not a place of speedy service, slow start, so that needs a bit of work. Food made up for slow service, great taste and portion size. Just need to work out the kinks and should be a good hangout place. read more

If I could give it less than one star, I would. The fried pickles were the only good part of our visit. The food was mediocre and I even got my order incorrect. The manager told the waitress to offer me 5 wings to take home (which I declined) for the mixed up order. He didn't care enough to come out and tell us himself. We will not be back! read more

It is not my first bad review, I had an awful experience once before and retracted my review because a wonderful Lady by the Name of Tania was able to assist me. The second time back service was better & I'm assuming because Tania talked to her staff. But now the truth has to come back to light. Well forward to today unfortunately same horrible service I received the first time around. I came in and payed a $5 cover charge for a Major UFC fight. (Highly reasonable in my eyes). But after that went down hill, I sat at the bar & although it was a Fight Night took at least 10 minutes before I decided to get up and move to a different spot at the bar. Then it took about 5 minuets of conversing and me making a mean face to finally get tended to. (Not many people at the bar at this moment). I finally get my drink, as soon as a few young men with Beards and tattoos who look like they had money sat down next to me they were tended to within seconds. I was amazed and happy at the service they received. But since a chubby married guy sitting alone won't give as big of a tip I believe they won't give me the same service. The bar I understand have fun, but a blond and a gentleman with a beard are just laughing flirting pretending to poke each other's eye and throwing bottle caps at one another instead of assisting patroons. The ladies who are helping the people at the bar same thing laughing and assisting who they believe will give them the bigger tip. I had an empty glass with the ladies passing by me at least 3 times and never asking if I wanted a refill until once again I had to look mad and upset to ask if I needed another drink. I'm not trying to talk bad without having a reason. I had a bad experience once and it was made up to me after I told the manager I was the one with the bad review. But now that I came and sat down without saying I'm the one who a bad review before I get to see that nothing changed. If you don't look like you make 6 figures or have a large party and if you're wearing a wedding band go else where the service will not be the same. read more

Came here from out of town, beer was good but service was lousy. Girls need a hell of a lot more training on customer service. Our waitress disappeared on us on more then one occasion. We waited for about 10 minutes when we arrived before we were waited on. The only reason waitress came over is because we called her over. Will not be coming back to this establishment. I will retract my comment!!! One bad apple does not make the resturant. Mrs. Tania & Mr. Joe both big personnel took the previous post seriously and were able to help me out the very next day. Mr. Joe wanted to assist me the same day but I had left. I was mistreated last night but they assured that there personnel will be properly trained in how to handle their customers. They both took their time to assure that I would able to talk to them and handle any situation. Thank you once again Mrs. Tania & Mr. Joe. i'm Irish so I thought - why the hell not? From the minute I walked in until the second I left the woman behind the bar {I wouldn't call her a bartender, that would imply she possessed some skill} never ONCE made eye contact with me - she stood at the cash register with her back to the bar and made love to her phone. This place was a major disappointment - there's NOTHING the least bit celtic about the joint - it's as phony as a TGIFridays that tries to make you feel as if you've walked into someone's private space - this place is plastic, which means, unfortunately, that it won't decompose for centuries. if the boys from the oil fields could find an ACTUAL pub they'd flee from this artifice like rats from a sinking fake plastic curragh. NO ONE in this place could tell you what a curragh was fir a million dollars and with a gun to their head. save your $ abd drink beer in your car. you'll enjoy the ambiance a hell of a lot more. This was my first time and last. I sat at the Bar right in front of the Bartender as she was conversing with another patron and literally ignored my presence, until another Bartender finally approached and attended me. I would understand if it were packed, but there was only 3 patrons sitting at the Bar. I guess I shouldn't be so harsh since I am from San Antonio and the tilted kilts up here are far more better in service and appearance if you know what I mean. The main purpose of this review is for management to view this as well as the other reviews to maintain the business longevity in Laredo. That's why nothing lasts in Laredo in the long run.
