Stopped in for the Irish corned beef and cabbage lunch special on St. Patrick's Day -- what a pleasant surprise! It seemed like this may have been their first time offering this seasonal meal, but you'd never have guessed it. The corned beef was tender and perfectly cooked, with carrots, potato's, cabbage paired beautifully with a cold Guinness. The service was warm and attentive. I hope this becomes an annual tradition. Laredo could use more dining experiences like this -- a chance to step outside the usual and try something a little different. Title: Disappointing Late-Night Experience After a long travel day with multiple layovers, I stopped in here because it was one of the few places still open. Upon sitting at the bar, I was immediately asked for my credit card to start a tab. I understand security policies, but I preferred to pay after my meal. I ordered a whiskey, a water, and a French dip. Both drinks were finished before the food arrived. When my sandwich was delivered by Brandon, I asked for ketchup; he returned with an empty bottle and walked away. I ended up eating the sandwich without ketchup and barely touched the fries. Throughout the meal, no one refilled my water or checked on the drink, so I finished with nothing to drink. Overall, service felt inattentive and rushed. Given the late hour, I hoped for basic hospitality--fresh condiments and drink refills at minimum. I'll likely try a different late-night option on my next visit. read more

Another chain establishment catered to the typical straight sports-loving male species. Suggested by my coworkers to watch the NBA playoffs and NFL draft, we had a couple nights here in mid-April to enjoy sports and some adult beverages. Food is alright here with the grilled wings and pretzel among the good items. We also had a comped pizza for us due to the slow service; pizza is meh, but it was free. Those are the only good points during our visits here. While this has everything a sports-loving fan would want (solid food, cold beers, plenty of tvs, vibrant interior/atmosphere), it's hard to get over how bad the service is here. Depending on who your server is, it can range from decent to non-existant. First time we were here, our server was attentive and made sure we got what we wanted. Next time we showed up, our server (a different person) greeted us by saying "welcome to ojo locos", then realizing she mentioned the wrong restaurant. She corrected herself, then mentioned that was her last place of employment before she "mutually parted ways" aka she was probably fired. After taking our drink order and our pretzel order, the pretzel came out first before we got our beers about 10 minutes afterwards. Then she was nowhere to be found when we needed refills. After talking to another server (I'm guessing the floor manager), we did receive a comped pizza although that barely made up for the lack of attentiveness as the pizza was bland and likely frozen. Realizing we had enough of the bad service, multiple members of our party twice went to search for her to get our checks. Upon finding her, she was busy in the corner with another server playing on their phones and seemed annoyed when we asked her for our tab. Sadly the servers/bartenders think that because of how they are dressed, the customer-base (males, ages 21-55) will disregard the bad service/lack of attentiveness and still claim how incredible they are since they are showing either an incredible amount of skin or cleavage. If that is the case, they're better off opening an OnlyFans account and making their $$$ that way. The food and our first experience here is the reasons why it will not get my dreaded 1-star review. There's plenty of other sports bar options in Laredo that will satisfy your experience. But keep coming here if you want to oogle at the waitstaff while you wait forever for your cold beverage. read more

The girls don't care about customer service, they would rather sit at the corner of the bar of gossip. 2. I've seen multiple employees use the restroom and not wash their hands. 3. The staff is throwing a football right in the expo line, where food sits. 4. Food is constantly cold and takes a very long time to get to you, even if the restaurant is not busy. 5. When there is a mistake, the manager is never around to talk to the customer. The manager(s) are always on the cell phone texting. 6. The food and beer is extremely overpriced. All in all this place needs a lot of help. Management needs more training and staff needs more customer service help. As a visitor to Laredo, I knew I had to come check out this place. I've seen it on ads on the internet and Instagram and I was really excited to see it in person. As I walked in the door I was greeted by six beautiful women who agreed to take a selfie with me. One minute in and it's already looking great. My waitress Priscilla asked if she could seat me and got me an excellent table with a view she convinced me to try a few signature drinks and the fish and chips. I was surprised that a few of the waitresses all came to my take to ask how I was doing, like Jazmin and Clarissa. They stayed to chat with me and that's how I got all their names. I couldn't think of a better way for a guy working in the nearby oilfields to come and spend a night and talk to some bubbly beautiful personalities. We had seen this restaurant featured on "Undercover Boss" and we were in town for business and we decided to go in just to order dessert and tea, just to try it out because it sounded like a great restaurant on TV. Well...we were told that there only had 1 dessert available because they didn't have the other ones in the menu available...so I ordered the only one available which was chocolate chip cookie and ice cream scoop, well when we were served, there was only 1/2 cookie that was all crumpled and I started laughing and said "what happened to the rest of my cookie? It looked like it was dropped and put together and covered it with ice cream, so I decided to eat it and it was not good, it was dried up and all crumbled , my tea also tasted bad, it tasted old and needless to say we were very disappointed... read more

Mixed bag. The service can be a bit inattentive. Excellent display of TVs if you're looking for sports. Beer selection was pretty decent (for real craft beer you have some Bell's Two Hearted, Founders, and Stone). The wings were also quite good. I'd definitely recommend the dry rub (I had the lemon pepper at the bartender's suggestion). The mango habanero wings were also very tasty. The service is a little slow. I sat at the bar with only 6 other customers and it took about 5 mins before the bartender came over. He wasn't busy just not paying attention. I finished my beer and waited and waited until I had to call him over. This City is notorious for jumping on the biggest and newest thing and then dropping it a few weeks later. Just like any other Tilted Kilt. Great service and good food. I got my usual the salmon and it was cooked well and had a good flavor. The service was excellent and my server "Tiff" was excellent! She kept my sweet tea coming and demonstrated great customer service with a smile! I appreciate the low guest to server ratio as well. We are in from out of town and wanted to watch the Longhorn game. We decided to drop into Tilted Kilt. I have to say that from the minute we walked in the management and the staff were on point. We were immediately greeted and sat. We were asked if we wanted the sound on for the game. Manager brought down the screen for us, the staff waited on us with VIP service. Waitress brought the appetizer but no plates no napkins and no utensils. She brought our plate and still no utensils or napkins. There beer menu has no prices and. Megan was polite and took our drink and food orders with no issue. After she brought my friend his food order, however, she did not return to our table until I sought out another server and told her I never received my food - approximately 25 minutes later. I understand food is sometimes ready at different times, but Meygan did not acknowledge I had not received my food, nor did she come back to check up on us, ask if we needed refills, or provide me with an update regarding my food order and why it was taking so long. Once we asked for the check, and after my friend had finished his meal, my food finally arrived - 40 minutes after I placed my order. Meygan gave a simple "sorry" and attempted to walk away before we again asked for the check. Furthermore, we had to request my meal be removed from the tab, as it sat there uneaten. Negative experiences like this can easily be remedied by better service. Unfortunately Meygan and her co-workers were unwilling to acknowledge the above-listed missteps, nor were they willing to attempt to remedy the problem. This situation was likely exacerbated by the lack of a management presence and the lethargic attitude of the servers and other employees who were lounging around while we and other diners needed assistance. read more
