I ended up here as I was staying at the Residence Inn and I just walked over for a late dinner. First clue was that I asked for the buffalo chicken salad and she said they only had grilled chicken for the salad. Which brings to mind many questions. Can they not just cut up tenders? Or even boneless wings? So i pivoted and got a grilled chicken caesar salad. And look, I should have read these reviews so this is my fault. But let me say here and now that on January 26th, on the 150th anniversary of our nation's founding, I had the worst chicken caesar salad I have ever had. To really understand this you need to know that I am 49. And that I eat in airports a lot where oftentimes the only thing to eat is a mealy chicken caesar wrap. I am familiar with mediocre chicken caesar salads. In all forms. This chicken was tougher than Nelson Mandela. They only give you plastic utensils which made this all the more apparent. The rest of the salad looked like it took silver in a speed caesar contest. Just sad lettuce with soft croutons, the devil's chicken and some drips of dressing. I've dined a few times at this Buffalo Wild Wings while visiting Laredo for business. I usually sit at the bar top, order my wings and a couple of drinks. I've been staying at the hotel across the street, so Buffalo Wild Wings has been very convenient. My previous dining experiences have been very pleasant. I usually have good service. It's unfortunate that such good previous dining experiences can easily be erased by one offensive dining experience. I was already becoming a regular customer here.. However, I may never be back at this location! And I was about to order dessert before my bad service experience. I asked my bartender server to watch my drink because I was going to use the bathroom. She replied by stating " leave your drivers license " . I asked why? She replied by stating " too many people leave without paying". I cooperated, but felt very offended. In all my dining years throughout life, well traveled in many regions, I've never been asked to leave my drivers license as a security deposit. Is this common practice for Buffalo Wild Wings?? The reviews here are abysmal and laughable. "oN MY BiRthDAy!!"...the world does not revolve around a day you share with millions of people. But you're right. It's not perfect, you might think what a 4/5-star rating looks like for a restaurant that is polarizing to some, but if I see that I am going to a restaurant that is full, I don't expect 5 star-rated experience. I don't have any complaints about food or service. BWW is reasonably priced, and I will expect a reasonable experience. It's not for everyone, like food, it's an acquired taste. People forget that it's also a sports bar, so yes, the restrooms will be that of a pub. dirty, gross, smelly. The ambiance is very particular. Could BWW use a facelift or a second restaurant in Laredo? yes, most certainly, but I am here for food and service, and I am okay with what I've experienced. I have been coming to this place for years and yesterday was by far the worst experience ever! Not to mention, it was my birthday. We literally waited 2 hours and never received our food. Drinks were never refilled and all the manager had to say was that "the kitchen was crazy." People that arrived after us were served before we were. This place is terrible. Service was one of the worst I've experienced while dining out. I came here with a couple of coworkers for dinner on a weeknight. We sat in the bar area and it took over 15 mins to get menus. The waitress finally came by two 2 menus for our party of 3 and completely ignores me. She drops off the menus and takes the drink orders - the entire time ignoring my existence. Hello? There are three people sitting at this table. I couldn't believe it. My coworkers drinks were served in a timely manner but mine was no where to be seen. I ordered an iced tea and the other drinks were two beers. Maybe it's just me but don't fountain drinks come out first because the waitress gets it while the alcoholic drinks are filled at the bar?? On top of that mess, our order comes out wrong. The waitress made sure to repeat our order to us but that didn't mean anything because it came out all messed up. My coworker had no additional side of coleslaw added to his pulled pork sandwich. My salad was missing dressing (dressing!!) and the chicken was supposed to be grilled. The funny thing was that the grilled chicken was HER suggestion. It was also noisy. I get that it's a sports bar but it was extra loud and with all the screens on display, none of them displayed closed caption. Ordered a couple of selections of wings and an Ultimate Nachos. The wings were good, better than other local wing places. However, the "Ultimate Nachos" were so far from ultimate that I had to throw this stale mix of old nachos and dry shredded chicken with a few(literally) jalapeños away. It was gross, had no lettuce, a sprinkle of cheese, and no salsa or anything to accompany it with. Zero napkins or utensils with my "To-Go" order either. Terrible service. Over an hour wait to be seated then waited an hour to receive two beers. Waiters never came around to ask how we were doing and the table next to mine who got there 20 minutes after me received their food before I did. There wasn't soap in the restroom and toilet paper was all over the floors. Waiters gave me attitude for booth 95 and complained that she had other tables even though the section only had three. Received my food cold. I wouldn't come back to this place because of the experience. I wasted two hours waiting for terrible food and service. If I could, I would give it 0. This is the dirtiest BWWs I have ever been in. The dining and bar room are always full with dirty tables, meanwhile servers gather in corners to chat. The music in the bar area is always way too loud, you can't even have a conversation at your table. There is a distinct odor there as well. I can't even describe what it is. In the bar area it smells of mildew trying to be covered up by fabuluso. The bar is always covered in dirty glassware, especially later at night. Our food has come out cold more than once as well. I have also heard people say the servers pick food off of plates on the line. It is very disappointing that this store is run so poorly. I always enjoyed bdubs back home and in Laredo there are not many options for food open late or a sports bar. read more

This is your typical B-Dubs. The menu doesn't change. Same thing here in Laredo can be found in El Paso. The wait staff in the bar area could use a little refresher in customer service. Worst place to go and eat. You can not even eat the food. My girlfriend and I, we went to that restaurant. It was not our first time going and being honest we liked it on the first time. Nevertheless, the second time, it took forever to take our order. After more than 30 minutes, they took us to the table. After, we waited more than 20 minutes to order, and addition 20 minutes to get our food. Finally, the food came out and it was delivered to us. Worst wings ever.!!We asked for barbecue and original mild boneless extra sauce, but the wings were so dry and so fried that we could not even eat them, they were like little rocks. If I could give less than 1-star I would. Buffalo Wild Wings has been getting worse and worse over the last 7-8 years. And I don't mean the Laredo one; all of them have been declining. I swore them off for a while, but I was visiting a friend and decided to give B-dubs another shot to watch the Cowboys game. First, we were told that there would be a 30-60 minute wait...even though there were clearly tables open. There was a party of 8 that they wanted to make sure they sat before us, even though there was a table for 2-4 open...so we waited. We finally sat down and my friend tried to order a Bloody Mary, the waiter didn't know what that was. So she had to go directly to the bar to place the order. We ordered a large basket of wings, they were horrific. Skipping to the punch line, we both felt sick the rest of the night. During the game, we tried to order a second Bloody Mary and our waiter actually had my friend come to his computer and have her put the order in herself because it was too confusing for him. On the "How Stoned Am I" scale, we estimated he was sitting at about Snoop Dogg. Lastly, we were really there to watch the game. They couldn't figure out their own TV setup to get the Cowboys game on in Texas and the whole restaurant missed the first quarter. The large screen TV's were actually SD projectors transmitting an HD signal. Epically bad experience and BWW has truly turned to a shit hole. read more

My sisters and I went to BWW to celebrate my mom's birthday. The waitress threw my credit card in the trash or so they said after waiting around 20 minutes after I had paid and told them I wasn't returned my card. She quickly said to cancel my card instead of trying to look for it. As soon as I cancelled my card, they found it in the trash after my mom told them I would be calling the cops. We ordered in English asked questions in English, asked for refills in English and still she insisted on speaking to us in Spanish. I heard her speaking in English, so I know she could speak it. It's common courtesy to speak to a customer in English if that's what they speak, regardless if they look Hispanic or not. She has no way of knowing if that person understands or speaks Spanish, how dare she assume... I wasn't happy with her service because of that. This manager needs to have a meeting.
