I had the worst shopping experience EVER in this store. The cashiers and the manger in particular were rude. The manager was absolutely nasty. I went in to buy my dog walker a few hoodies for his b-day, I left knowing I would never return to one of my favorite stores. The employees here are awful. I went to this location with a friend of mine recently. She needed to exchange a pair of jeans, but didn't have the receipt (she got them as a gift and they were the wrong size). This situation has happened to me before, but at a different location, so I knew that they would be able to let her exchange the jeans for another pair of equal or lesser price. The employees at this location treated us like we were stupid for thinking that she could do an exchange and did absolutely nothing to help her. They were very short with her and rude. So we left and went to the location at the Long Beach Towne Center, told them the situation, and what do you know.... they told my friend to find a pair that was of equal or lesser price and that the exchange was very easy and very doable. Just shows that the girls at this Cypress Location are lazy and bad at their jobs. read more

Great experience yesterday. I walked in looking for something specific and just my luck they ran out. One of the very nice employees approached me right away and asked if I needed her assistance. She found the exact shirt I was looking for online, even though my description was pretty vague. With in less than a couple minutes she was able to purchase it for me on line. Great little store!! Just a little smaller than a few other ones I've been to. I had to call and make sure they were even open because on Google there was almost nothing on it!! At first the girl in front was busy chatting with another customer looking at apps on her phone. Then finally after a few minutes she finished and helped me out. Besides the initial poor customer service they asked if I needed help told me about their specials. Then they were nice enough to give my son a key chain because he was a little fussy while I was trying to exchange some things. I noticed with the girl who was just chatting with a customer, she wasn't being rude it was just her personality to chat with everyone. A few days ago I walked in here to see if they had any boots, since I spent the most part of an evening shopping different stores and malls for boots that I would like. Finally, I found a pair that I was in love with. Unfortunately, I didn't have money at that moment, and the store was busy so I figured if I came back during the day, I'd be able to get better service. Fast forward to today. I come in with high hopes that I will finally get the boots I want. I go in and it's pretty dead. A good sign I thought. Boy, was I wrong!! I couldn't find anyone to help me out!! I wandered around and then finally asked the girl at the counter if she could help me. She replied in a bored and disinterested way, "yeah, someone will be here to help you." So, I walked back to the shoes and waited...and waited...finally another girl walks up to the girl at the counter and they start chit-chatting. I'm waiting patiently when finally they remember I'm waiting. The other girl walks up to me and says, "We only have a size 9" and then walks away. Dude!! I would have tried the 9! But whatever. I haven't shopped there in a few years. Now I remember why, shitty service and rude employees. I can understand if maybe they were swamped with a bunch of shoppers, but I was the only person in the store. I wish there was less stars so I could give them negative stars. lol. :) read more

Worst experience ever. Came here with my fiancé just to shop around. I was in the girl section while my fiancé was in the guys section. Came back to my fiancé telling me he was being followed by the worker. My fiancé is Asian by the way and yes, he doesn't look rich. We were the only Asians there too. Love the store been going here since I was a teenager. The prices are a bit steep but the one thing that keeps me from being a faithful shopper is that the employees follow you around like your going to steal something. They have way too many employees working, I hate going in because they all follow you around and say hi at least five times! I just walk out now! Average Tilly's. They never have my size in ANYTHING, from shirts to shoes... doesn't matter. They never have it. I supposed it's my own fault through, since I'm a straight "medium" all the way across. So they are always out of the most popular size. Guess I can't get on them for that. Employees are always nice, and I always like asking about the deals they have going on (there is ALWAYS one), and all the wallets/belt buckles they have in the glass cases. I only make trips here for back-to-school shopping, but it gets the job done. read more

Went shopping today for some new summer clothes. I've always liked this Tillys and the selections although I wish they made larger sizes or carried more XL. I arrived early today so there weren't many other customers. One of the associates named Taylor greeted me immediately and proceeded to assist me through my entire visit. She made great suggestions and brought various sizes and styles to me in the fitting room. She went above and beyond my expectations and I really appreciated her input and advice. The girls working the store were the most petty, snarky girls I've encountered in retail. We went in to grab a quick pair of pants and yes, it was 15 minutes to closing, but that doesn't take away from the fact that YOU'RE STILL OPEN. When my boyfriend asked to try on the pair, the girl rolled her eyes, opened the room, and said "we close soon" and walked away. Ummmm ok. Then come to check out, the same girl spoke into her walky talky and says "after these people close the doors" while there are still customers in the store! I think what they might as well have done was just close the store down early so these girls can comfortably go home right at 7 since it was such an inconvenience to them. So rude and disrespectful. I had the absolute worst experience at this location. I tried to return an outfit I bought for my husband, I had the receipt. The clothes we brand new. I arrived at the location about 5 mins after store opened. I have a disabled child so I try to do all my errands while he's in school. Anyhow. The young cashier with brown hair barely said two words to me. She was behind the register talking to another employee while I stood in the empty store in line. Then she noticed I was there and said what can I help you with. I gave her the receipt and the clothes, explained that my husband didn't like what I picked out. She looked at the receipt and said that she didn't have enough cash in the drawer to do my refund. I told her that I didn't need cash and asked if she could put it back on the card I used. She stared at me and said she couldn't put it on the card. My refund was for 120.00 bucks. I said you don't have 120 dollars in your register. She said if she did my return she wouldn't have any money for the rest of the day. She was extremely rude and short at this point. I told her that I could not come back due to my son being severely autistic it's hard to shop with him. She didn't even say anything handed me that cash and stormed off. I have never felt so mistreated in my life. I never make reviews ever. I was so upset that I will never shop there again. Im a regular customer at Tilly"s and i buy hundreds of dollars worth of clothing and i had never ever been disappointed at Tillys before intill this day. One thing i extremely do not like is Alexis was very stereotypical she assumed because a mexican couple with a baby walks in the store that you assume that me and my family are going to be stealing. That is such a very very disrespectful thing to assume. For example When i came out the fitting room you were waiting for me outside like i stole something and stuck your head inside like something was missing. You wrongfully came up to me and assumed i went to go steal the clothes after i had dropped them off at the register. Ever since i walked in you were looking at my wife wrong and continually asking her if she needed help. Please lady my wife had my baby daughter she was chasing after.
