We recently made over 2 bathrooms and Tiles Plus More was the best place to go. We were very fortunate to talk with Julie when we did our first bathroom - she was extremely helpful figuring out exactly what would work. We ended up with a really cool shower which included river rocks for the base. Guests comment on how awesome the bathroom is. The 2nd bath, Julie spent a lot of time giving us different ideas on laying out the tiles for the floor and shower. The bathroom came out unbelievable. I was very happy with the service I received (from Stacy) at Tiles Plus More. I went back at least 5 times looking at tile, and she never made me feel like I was a bother. She answered my questions about caring for natural stone and helped me select grout. The showroom is a little crowded and not as prettily displayed as at least one other local tile house, but by the same token they offer a large selection of tile and keep their prices very reasonable. This is also a family business, which I like to support. I would definitely recommend them and use them again. read more

Perhaps we should have read the reviews before we tried for a third time to give this store a shot as we live in the neighborhood. Unfortunately the third visit was just as bad, in fact, worse than the first two...so Tiles Plus More struck out. Maybe this place should be called Tiles Minus More, or is it Tiles Minus Less? The common theme across these reviews is zero customer service - which we again experienced and can again confirmed. What made it the worst this time was a staff member did see and notice us, unlike the first two times. However this staff member - a young lady, chose to ignore us and walked away, not once but twice, instead of greet us or inquire if we needed any help. We wanted so hard to try this neighbor of ours but they just don't want our business. It's unfortunate this zero customer service has not changed over the years. At least they are consistent...consistently bad. So we will now visit the big box stores, at least we do get acknowledged when we walk in...along with some bad service, which we guess is better than zero service. read more

Bryan was willing to help us immediately, and made what could have been a stressful experience incredibly easy. So many options, an extremely helpful sales team, and great prices. This is the second time we have used TPM. Many contractors recommend them. We had the real pleasure of dealing with Julie, she is very creative and sees color in a creative way which I am not good at. We decided to trust her and we were not disappointed. We told her in a general idea of what we had in mind, basically colors, and she suggested things to us. We did a kitchen remodel and needed floor tile and backsplash tile, she even suggested paint color for the room. She is quick, on the ball, and very good at what she does. You can even return unused tile for a credit. We have not been disappointed with this business, they do a great job, and we would use them again. They had granite cabintet knobs that I wanted at 1/2 the price of our cabinet designer's business, so we were really happy as it saved us $300 dollars. Print a coupon before you go in too! read more

Having bought my bathroom tile at TPM a few years ago I am now back to buy for my kitchen remodel. They have an amazing selection of products and really great service. Nice store and helpful staff. Handling orders though, is poor, which set my project back a month. You will have to manage that closely if you buy thru them. I ordered 550 sq ft of flooring, 26 boxes. "No problem, distributor has 6000 sq ft. It'll be here in 5-7 days. We'll call you." They didn't. I called them and got, "uhh... I'll get back to you." They called back and said "3 boxes came in a few days ago. The distributor misread the order." I have to wonder: when 3 boxes come for an order of 26, don't you ask why? And why don't you call me? And when you order quantity 26, don't you get an order confirmation? "The remaining 23 boxes will be here in 3 days. We'll call you." They didn't call. I called them and arranged for delivery. Their concession for these screw ups was half price on the home delivery. Oddly, the new 23 boxes were orange and the first 3 were in brown boxes with a different part number. Of course, the new 23 boxes were wrong and not even close. I called the store. Didn't you check? Oh yes, we called the distributor who said they were the same. Didn't it occur to you to open them yourself? No. And again, this was the distributor's error. Back they go, and another week goes by. Let's reschedule all the tradesmen again. This time it's a drop ship from the distributor. Like I said, nice people and show room, but managing inventory and orders is poor. They are pushing me to Internet purchases. read more

I have used Tiles Plus for a number of years, both in my remodeling business and as a homeowner. The selection is the best you will find in Metrowest and the employees are very helpful with design and purchase. As a pro I find that they have everything I need from Wedi backer board to Schluter trims. They also have some very nice wood and bamboo flooring options. When you place an order they call when it arrives and they deliver. I highly recommend! read more

This is the only place I will ever buy tile from again.... I've recently done a couple backsplashes and a shower myself and everyone at this store could not have been nicer or more helpful. Jodi, Stacey, Julie and the whole gang are the best at helping to pick out tile and are a fun group to deal with as well! The store has a huge number of choices - if you can't find what you need here then it probably doesn't exist... Great place, great service and great people! After visting Tile Showcase, Roma Tile, Watertown Tile, and Tile Plus More in Natick I have to say Tile Plus More is by FAR the best. Tlle Showcase is just crazy expensive, Roma has the best layout , great designers, and OK selection but is expensive (they give samples you can keep), Watertown Tile has great selection, good prices, but only two staff (not really designers) and bad showroom, and Tile Plus More could have a nicer showroom but is still much much better than Watertown Tile (but it is HUGE) and has the best selection by far (I looked at tile from $4 SQF to $108 SQF) and the best prices - they knocked almost 20% off my order (see coupon on web site). On one product I love I know they really cut their margin so I could get it within budget. The owner (Scott) was also there each of my 6 visits. In addition to being very helpful, he is really nice guy and has been in business for 20 years. They have like 5 people working there at the same time and are open 8-8 - all talented designers. I worked with Julie who was FANTASTIC (all their bios are on their web site) I think most people will like Tile Plus More the best but everyone is different. I know I did. Rectified tiles rock! 12 X 24 tiles rule! I only hope my installation is as great an experience as purchasing the tile was. read more

Tiles Plus More is amazing. Their showroom is massive, location easy to find (Rt9 Natick near Wellesley line), staff highly competent and hours convenient for customers which in this business is not easy to find (as in 8pm weeknights and 9-5 on Sat). After several unsuccessful visits to a tile place my contractor required me to do business with, I just wasn't finding what I wanted and felt hesitant about their recommendations. Time was running out for me to decide and I was stressed to the max because the contractor's tile place had limited hours and limited selection. Following some google searches, I stumbled upon Tiles Plus More. While the size of their store and their hours were main drivers for me going in, I was extremely surprised and happy to find that within 10 minutes they reviewed my situation and recommended a tile that I loved. Darlene and one of the owners helped me and I cannot say enough about how they listened and proposed a selection that was perfect. The product was ordered and came in less than a week (they get shipments Wed and Fri). Other advice I can give is to get help when you are in there. They have so much inventory that if you have a general idea about what you want, they can quickly take you around to some things that might be of interest. They also were able to explain why the tile my contractor's place recommended would not be the right choice - they have a real eye for color. The two stars is because they do have a large selection of tile. However, the customer service experience I had was abysmal. I entered the store late morning on a weekday, and was the only customer present. After about 5 minutes of looking around, I walked past the service desk and no one acknowledged me. I didn't think too much of that, I actually prefer a low pressure sales staff that lets you browse a little. So I take maybe another 10-15 minutes to look through some of their displays and realize given that I have a very specific idea in mind it would probably be helpful to get some assistance at this point. I approach the service desk. There were probably 5-6 employees present. One was on the phone, another was doing something on a computer, and at least 3 staff members were discussing their lunch order. I believe someone wanted chicken parm. I have yet to make eye contact with anyone despite my best efforts. I try staring at the woman facing me, but she is very very focused on her computer monitor. Finally, after listening to them organize their take out for a bit, I say, "Is there anyone here who can help me?" One of the staff people finally looks up and responds, "Oh, I thought you were waiting." Yeah, I was waiting: FOR SOMEONE TO OFFER TO HELP ME. One woman started to help me, then disappeared with no explanation. A second woman did finally help me, but paid no attention to what colors I was interested in and seemed annoyed and rushed the entire time. Which I totally get. I mean, who wants cold chicken parm? Perhaps they don't work on commission here? Or perhaps they should close for an hour at lunch to avoid hypoglycemia induced crap attitudes? I don't like high pressure sales tactics, but I don' t think saying, "Is anyone helping you?" when you have a customer standing at your service desk counts as high pressure. The happy news for me is I found the exact same tile I liked at another store for about $4 less per SF. The happy news for Tiles Plus More is this probably won't end up a recommended review because I have never felt the need to post on Yelp before. read more

TPM found me a box in two different sizes of discontinued tile I needed to do some repairs in a bathroom installed over 8 years ago. That kind of sourcing access will keep me coming back. Price-wise I have no one to compare them to because just finding this tile was a accomplishment. To keep from having to re-tile the whole room (walls and floors) I would have paid a lot. Certainly can't beat a Rt 9 location and there are a gazillion tile samples in there to look at and two or three employees around to help. read more

Selection was great - customer service was great. I had to go back several times to ask questions about subfloor, thinset, shower alcoves, etc and every time they were prompt and friendly. They did mix up a small part of my order (gave me corner bull nose instead of edge bull noes) but they took care of it promptly without questions. read more

They do have a pretty good selection, but this is not the place for you if you want any design input or suggestions. The employees can tell you what is in stock, and how much tile you need, but that is about it. I brought in samples of my granite and cabinetry to help choose a backsplash, and the "girl" who "helped" me, told me to come back when I knew what I wanted. She clearly had no clue how to really come up with suggestions. Also, when you walk into the store (and this happened each of the 3 times I went there), you can stand at the counter for several minutes,before even being acknowledged. No eye contact, no "excuse me, I'll be with you soon"...nothing. read more

I have been to Tiles Plus More for both of my bathroom renovations. They have a very good selection of the tiles and very competitive prices. One time I ordered some tiles based on a sample and the tiles showed up having a different sheen than the sample. Ashley worked on the phone with the distributors to sort things out and even had them come up to the store with a different lot. At the end it was a batch-related issue and Ashley worked it out for me with a discount and made sure all the tiles I got were uniform. The entire process she kept me update on status. I was in the store the other day and was impressed with how much of a selection they have. There were a few sales people behind the counter chatting and I couldn't help but to hear a young girl with black hair and half of her hair shaved saying very inappropriate things that should be said at a bar and not at work place. I asked if I could be helped and she said yes I'll be right there to help you and she just kept saying her story and didn't come to help me until she was done with it. There was a very nice lady with curly hair that saw me walking around and came over to help me. Her name was Darlene and she gave me the information I needed. I'll definitely will be back to see Darlene but I would not come back in the store if I had to have the other girl help me. We recently put an addition on the house and needed tile for a mudroom, laundry and master bath. They introduced me to houzz.com which was extremely helpful. Carol and Scott spent a lot of time with me and basically did all the design work. I found the floor I liked for the shower and they helped me pull the whole look together. Due to a design change, we ran out and they sold me only the additional tile I needed saving me a lot of $$$. Their prices are very reasonable and taking samples home was helpful.
