This is a very cute tea shop and I got my tea super fast. I just got the tiki classic 50% sweet, but it tasted more like 30% sweet to me and the tea tasted very sour to me for some reason. I always get the classic when I try a new tea shop because it's kind of hard to mess up on a normal milk tea, but maybe I should have ordered another drink instead at this shop. I added grass jelly as my topping and although the texture was exactly as I liked it, the flavor didn't deliver. I wish it had more grass jelly taste and was just a bit sweeter. If I'm in the area, I might some back to try other drinks but would go out of my way to come here.

Delicious assortment of teas! I love that I could choose my sweetness level with my milk tea. Friendly service and a cute little spot off of Alberta street. I'd ride my bike back here again and again!

I'm happy to see this place is still thriving! This was my go-to place for bubble tea in Portland pre-pandemic. So this recent visit was the first time in a few years, but I'm glad to see that is more or less that same as I remembered it. I like the calm vibes and earthy elements of the store as well as the friendly service. I got the Organic Uji Matcha with Oat Milk and Boba. You can tell by the deep green color of the matcha that the quality is great. The boba has a nice brown sugar sweetness with great chewy texture. Another favorite of mine is the Robust Ceylon Milk Tea. The tea has such a rich nutty flavor with a hint of spice and sweetness. There aren't other tea spots that make this kind of tea, at least not that I've found.

the interior was nice but the drinks tasted really odd. I got the Ube milk tea and it just tastes like straight milk with bits of ube floating around. The ube bits don't have any flavor either. No sugar or flavor. I would give 0 stars if I could but the lowest I can give is 1 star.

Better fruit tea than milk tea. Location: It is a small establishment. They have limited indoor seating but have very cute decor. There is limited street parking but you are bound to find one if you don't mind a slight walk. Drinks: We ordered an organic Uji Matcha milk tea with oat milk and a fresh squeezed lemon ceylon. I will say that their fruit teas are pretty good but their milk teas are somewhat watered down. Service: The employees are super friendly and nice. Overall, I would come back to this place but only to get their fruit tea.

Tried their ube milk tea with almond milk, not enough ube flavor - 3/5. It's a small shop with cute decor (a lot of hanging plants).

I was surprised that I never ventured to Tiki Tea before when driving on Alberta especially given all the high reviews. Driving up I realized it's slightly tucked in from the main road so be sure to look out for this shop next time you're in the area. The space is really cute with plenty of plants and the ones they are propagating spelling out Tiki Tea on the wall. Their menu is pretty expansive so I ended up trying their classic milk tea and strawberry milk fruit tea (blended). I went with the strawberry fruit tea based on all the reviews and I can see why people constantly get it. It's a light and refreshing smoothie where you get nice bits of strawberry. The classic milk tea was also good but definitely more tea-y if that makes sense. I probably would try another milk tea next time. I also tried their boba and it was cooked well with a nice chew but weren't that sweet from what I could tell from our batch.

Tiki Tea is a small boba shop right off of Alberta. Initially we missed it since the store isn't really visible on the main street, but after backtracking a bit we stopped in to get a drink. Tiki's Classic, Large 24 Oz, 50% Sweet w/ Boba ($6.50) - This drink consists of black tea mixed with half and half (milk substitutes are available) and sugar syrup. When we ordered the drink originally, the cashier told us that in case we needed to adjust the sweetness higher, there a bottle of syrup to the side for us to add as we saw fit. Luckily, the drink was pretty much perfect sweetness for us at 50% (it was a bit less sweet than most other places at 50%) - this added a slight sweetness but allowed the tea taste to come through. This particular tea was definitely higher quality than the low quality tea fannings you usually see boba shops use. It had a bit more of a black tea fragrance and retained some of the astringent notes. I don't think they put too much half and half in, since I couldn't really taste any dairy forward notes. In terms of the boba - as soon as the boba hit my tongue, it immediately reminded me of a hard marble given the smaller size. After I started chewing, I was glad to see my initial impression was incorrect, but it was definitely still harder than my usual preference and there were some pieces that were stuck together. it still had a decent chew that was serviceable for the drink. I especially love how Tiki Tea has a bottle of their syrup near the water dispenser so you can adjust the sugar levels to your liking. While we didn't end up using it, it was certainly appreciated. I've never seen this option before in any of the other 100+ boba shops I've visited.

Cute little boba shop in Alberta and easy to find as it was off to the side of the main road. The decor and ambiance of the place was very relaxing with cute little glass vases on the wall. I ordered the masala chai tea at 25% sweetness with boba and that was the perfect sweetness for someone that doesn't want an overpowering sugar flavor and still taste the tea. I would say the tea flavor isn't as strong as other places I've been but it was made well with the boba being a good chew. The drink came out very quickly and the workers were very nice and welcoming.

Brown Sugar Matcha Bubble Milk Tea and Strawberry Horchata

Tiki tea is my favorite bubble tea place of all time. Everything is freshly made and brewed and the atmosphere is great! I love the sea salt tea olive oolong (it is a perfectly balanced drink), the brown sugar matcha, and the strawberry jasmine! The menu has a ton of unique drinks and they are all so good! I will forever recommend tiki tea!!

Cute little tea shop right off of Alberta. I really liked the tea-forward menu (I don't like the ultra sweet boba teas). I decided to try the sea salt cream jasmine tea with boba and thought it was perfect! I'm not sure if the man working was the owner, but he was very friendly to everyone who came in and the drinks came out quickly. I will definitely be back!

This is a cute tea shop and I'm glad we picked this one to visit on our trip to Portland. Read the reviews In advance and this place is definitely different, real tea and real/fresh ingredients without the cloying sweetness of most bubble tea you've had before. I wish there were a few more options but this place was very cute and my milk tea was delish. Although the bathroom was closed off for Covid, they were kind enough to let me use it.

A cute little boba shop. I got their horchata ceylon and my boyfriend got their ube milk tea. The horchata was good, but really strong! The cinnamon hit me hard. I tried my best mixing the drink, but don't think I did a good job. Because after sipping a bit, the horchata taste disappeared and it was now a strong tea. The ube drink was okay. I love how they use ube halaya instead of extract. But overall, I've had better ube drinks elsewhere. This ube drink was essentially milk with ube jam in it. The pearls were disappointing. The texture was good-nice and chewy. But they just didn't taste as good as other boba shops. Their prices are expensive! I know inflation is happening everywhere, but I usually don't pay $7 for a boba. It was also disappointing they didn't have a rewards program like other shops.

Can the plastic cups be refilled at Tiki Tea? They cannot be recycled in Portland and they are excessively wasteful.

Yes, in fact they give a discount for reusing their cups! I reuse mine all the time.

    Do they accept apple pay?

    Yes

Do they have "for here" cups? The cups in all these photos seem like excessively wasteful plastic cups. I don't plan to go there if I can't sit in house and not get a reuseable cup.

Yes, we have “for here” glass or ceramic cups. Please let us know when ordering. Thanks.
