    Longan (22 oz)

Super cute little boba spot! Their menu is pretty small but it's got all the essentials, plus a little extra. I loved trying the Longan tea, which I've never had before. The service was also great, and they answered all of our questions.

First timer at Auntea Ha and I'd definitely return the next time I'm in Portland. The staff was super kind and quick with making the drinks. I got a Jasmine Milk Tea with coffee jelly, and my fiancé got a Thai Milk Tea with coffee jelly. He usually finishes his drink faster than me but this time I beat him. The second I took a sip, I couldn't stop. It was that good. Even he was surprised when he looked over at me and all I had left was ice. Aesthetics of the interior was so cute. Dim lights, neutral colors. A lot of parking was available around the corner in the residential area which was a plus!

An inviting boba spot located off Interstate Ave in Portland. They have a simple menu with some good selection of flavors to choose from. I tried the lychee fruit tea (25% sweet) and it was refreshing. There are some other flavors I will try next time I am in the area.

Such a cute place for a refreshing drink! The ambiance and decor is too cute. Very tranquil and calm. The service is nice and friendly. Their menu is quite small.

As our last boba stop in Portland, we chose to visit Auntea Ha. Before we walked in, we were greeted with handwritten signs on the exterior begging people to not break in. It's heartbreaking to see such measures required to prevent criminals from destroying the businesses around the area. I really hope things start trending up again in Portland in the near future, for both Auntea Ha and every other small business. Lotus Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, 50% Ice w/ Boba ($6.50) - I wasn't sure what this milk tea was at first, since in a lot of places, a "lotus milk tea" would be biscoff infused in black milk tea. I asked the proprietress and she replied that it would similar to Jasmine tea but much more flowery - I guess made with real lotus flower petals/leaves? I can't say I've ever had this before, but after sipping on this drink, I'm not sure that the flowery description is apt. I don't want to be mean, but I'd say the taste is astringent and bitter in the foreground, but not a traditional tea astringency. Instead, it's almost like a harsh rubber tire-like taste. Then in the aftertaste comes a bit of a caramel fragrance. Very, very strange. I'm not sure this tea is for me - but now that I've learned about it, I plan to buy some lotus leaves and brewing my own tea to try to understand this tea a bit more. Otherwise, the drink is quite creamy overall, but isn't overwhelmed with the taste of creamer. The sweetness level at 50% is actually not sweet enough. I would get it with 100% next time. The boba included in the drink is excellent. Pretty much perfect bounce and chew, smooth throughout. Probably my favorite in texture of all the boba shops I've visited in Portland so far. Milk Tea Rating: 3/5 Boba Rating: 5/5 Auntea Ha is a good boba shop and should be supported. While I didn't enjoy the Lotus Milk Tea as much as I had hoped, I will certainly still be returning the next time I'm in town to try one of the more traditional tea flavors. Given the excellence of the tapioca, I'm expecting that my next visit will be a 5. As a side note, when we first stepped inside, we noticed the proprietress trying to help a young boy reach his parents. We left before we saw the parents come in, but it just goes to show how kind the owner is. Bathrooms - One unisex room that requires a code

    Oolong mt with hard boba

Cute clean space with street parking and strong wifi, lots of indoor seating options and they're kid and dog-friendly. Stopped by to fulfill the boba cravings, and decided on their oolong boba milk tea. The tea was great and not too sweet, love that you can adjust the levels. The boba...idk, it wasn't chewy and more so on the hard side. The lack of QQ texture was kind of a let down because everything else about the place is great from their kind and smiley staff to the variety of seating options. Restrooms are clean too, and they have a frequent buyer points system which is a nice touch. I would come back to chill and hang since the space itself is very welcoming and inviting. But I wouldn't say it was my favorite in terms of the boba itself.

Really cute and aesthetic boba spot with cozy cafe seating. I was excited to try this place, especially with the raving reviews. I got the Jasmine MT with boba, 25% sweet. The cashier warned me that 25% sweet would be better, and I said that's fine since I like my teas with a stronger tea flavor anyway. And I'd expect it to be a little bitter. The drinks came out pretty quick, and I was a bit disappointed. The tea has a super strong weird flavor that doesn't taste like jasmine tea. It also wasn't an issue with the sugar level as I've had plenty of jasmine tea without any sugar and it does NOT taste like that. Maybe kinda if you were to somehow burn it? No idea, but the tea itself wasn't very good. The boba on the other hand was really good, perfect amount of chew for me, and it was sweetened just enough. Overall, was okay. The weird flavor in the tea is a dealbreaker for me unfortunately.

Glass boba tea jar with passion-chee tea and lychee jelly on the six seat table inside the cafe

Great space to hang out and read or chat (if you like cafe sounds). I love the lofi music playing. The server was really nice and fast. I used a glass boba jar I brought with me (I won it at a Yelp elite event! Thanks Sarah!) which saved me 10 cents and reduced plastic use. The passion-chee tea was tropical and I loved it with 50% sweetness and lychee jelly. The passion-chee is made with lotus tea or you can ask for jasmine, so it has a floral note either way. I love that there was just an inch of ice, not tons. The wicker seats at the table are comfortable (if a little tall, I'm 5'8" and I can swing my legs a little and the seat cuts into the back on my thighs so I have my feet propping my legs up higher to prevent this. Still these are better than the chairs I see other places with metal seats and those little metal side pieces that cut into my wide hips and are narrower than my pelvic bone. Hate those chairs). I spent an hour reading and was comfortable in the relaxed atmosphere.

Stopped by on a road trip from Seattle to LA. I'm a frequent boba drinker so I'd like to say I'm familiar w/ boba & tea. Ordered the Lotus Milk Tea 50% Sweet 50% Ice. Haven't tried it before so I was super excited to! -Floral & Fragrant Tea but a little bitter. Could probably be solved with more sweetness but I don't like my drinks too sweet. -Boba consistency has good chewiness & is lightly sweetened. Would definitely come back again to try other drinks. I also like that it's a small business :)

Beautiful location, extremely clean and just a place if you want to grab a drink or have a study session. Lychee tea: 5/5 Longan tea: 5/5 Menu is vast and unique. Parking is a bit of a problem, so do call ahead for your order as service is really fast but to my first point, I highly recommend doing a sit in.

Came here with friends to study and it had such a nice ambiance! Service here is very quick and the staff are super kind. They have quite a diverse menu but I settled on a milk tea. One thing I really loved was that when I asked for no sugar, my drink really felt like no sugar. Often times, I'll ask for no/reduced sugar, but the boba shop still makes the drinks overly sweet but Auntea Ha didn't! (In fact, they even double checked with me before as they were worried it would be too bitter for me). In terms of seating, it's very limited and a big pickup and go place--there aren't really tables for working, so I wouldn't recommend it as a studying place. Parking is a bit difficult too as they don't have their own. But overall, if I were in the area, I would definitely come back!

Such a cute spot. My cousin and I both met up in Portland from out of state, and we decided to stop by here for bubble tea. We loved the decor, and the drinks were tasty. And the staff was super friendly.

Very friendly service and the tea was very good. I got 100% sweet and it's a little bit sweet but not too bad. The boba itself is also great. Very cute and quiet place, I definitely recommend!!
