What a charming little boba shop! As with all specialty places, the smaller their menu, the more proficient they usually are at it! A lot of their Boba is more focused toward coffee and dessert ( ice cream ) options, but their coffee and tea options are excellent for what they have. We were helped by the very charismatic and very helpful Jean-Luc. He was very attentive to our special requests and gave a lot of feedback and concerns to our drinks. He even let us taste test our drinks before he finished making them in case we wanted to adjust it before he completed it. I've never had this level of service at a boba place! For example, I don't like things very sweet so he started low and gave us a taste and said he could add more sweetness if needed. Overall if I'm in the area and feeling like a boba, I'm hoping Jean-Luc can help me and my kids out again! They're very picky when it comes to Boba! read more

Ended up popping in here after getting takeout from Luc Lac where classic Thai tea isn't on the menu. We were sitting right outside the entrance to the food hall where MILK+T is located so figured we'd check the menu. The guy working was SO nice, I wish I had his name because his customer service and disposition was genuinely the high point of stopping in here. After ordering, he said he'd bring them right outside to our table which was very nice. The Thai tea was perfect!! I'd love to go back and try one of the boba drinks. read more

A nice Boba spot to try. I had their Pink Panda (strawberry drink with cookies & cream ice cream) and I was pleasantly surprised with how good it was! The ice cream mixed nicely with the drink. I really liked the combo of the flavor together. The service was good. Server was very nice and helpful. The drink was quick to be made. I'd say the pricing is good for the types of drinks they service. Ambiance isn't crazy. The boba place is basically a booth in a multiple-restaurant plaza. read more

Crossing by this lovely cozy corner and had to stop for some boba drinks. It was beyond my expectation. The aroma of infused tea balanced well with creamy milk. The boba texture was on point and chewy. Jean Luc, the owner, was great to talk to. I can see a lot of effort that was put into this place. Cute little boba bar at the entrance of the food hall, serving delicious bubble tea! I love that all the syrups are homemade and the toppings are fresh (and free). I got the strawberry gt, which had the right balance of sweetness from the fresh strawberry syrup and bitterness from the green tea. I'll have to come back because there were so many different drinks I wanted to try, like the ice cream series or the Piglet. Highly recommend checking this place out! read more

The drink was delicious! The guy working was very helpful and sweet. He made a strawberry cookies and cream milkshake. It was good! I would return and do recommend. It went lovely with my ramen. The location has multiple restaurants you can order from which is cool. Very quiet and chill inside which I enjoy for a calm night out. read more

The shop is located inside The Portland Food Hall. Jean-Luc (the owner) greeted us and took our order. He made sure our drinks were made to our exact preference. EXCELLENT SERVICE. The drinks we ordered are comparable to some of the best from the Bay Area and SoCal. The price is great compared to what other places are charging and toppings are complimentary. SO GOOD. I get the Pink Panda every time and it never disappoints -- just the right amount of sweetness and strawberry flavor, perfect for that after-meal dessert kick. A little mini boba shop in the midst of a food fall. Heard a lot about this place given their large location elsewhere and their glass containers. I love the creativity of their boba names and the simplicity of their menu. Even though the shop doesn't have their own store front, they still give a clean aesthetic. There is just one person working the counter from what I can tell and there are seats in the food hall to chill. Pretty "average" taste overall. Boba does not have a strong tea flavor, but the flavors listed were present. I think $6.5 is expensive for average boba, but I can be short changing the preparation put into each boba. Milk+T recently opened this "mini" store in the downtown Portland Food Hall. It truly is mini, a small counter and prep area tucked into the corner right by the entrance. If you know this business, you know it's women-owned, Asian-owned, LGBTQ-owned, and aims to be environmentally friendly. They started as a food truck and have since opened a handful of locations. Totally a business worth supporting! They offer a free glass jar for your boba (yay for reusables!). The straw provided is compostable. The boba and drinks themselves are delicious, in my opinion. Sweetness is customizable. For the Thai Tea, they shook it up so it was nicely mixed and there was some great froth on top. Didn't realize it is little kiosk counter tucked into the front corner of a narrow food hall and we almost gave up looking (really couldn't tell from the outside). Menu is short, so naturally I was expecting the drinks to be extra tasty. My Slothee Coffee was drinkable but lacked the bitter coffee punch needed to counter the amount of ice-flecked ice cream in it. So far the PDX boba shops I have tried have been a letdown. Bought the kids some boba after dinner. It's a bit hard to find as it's located in a food hall. Once there we were very happy with our drinks. Don't forget to check in for a free glass jar!!! My passion fruit drink was on point. Even with regular sugar, I didn't think it was too sweet. Nicely balanced and very refreshing. Kids had the pink panda with boba and Oreo iced cream. We really enjoyed the teas, it's evident that they care about the quality of the ingredients, the passion fruit GT with fresh passionfruit seeds was so delicious. Awesome boba - they make their own syrups and it's a lot less sweet than other boba places. You can get a free jar with Yelp check in that will give you a discount on future visits. Stopped by before going back to Seattle. I got the classic milk tea with boba with a free jar. The boba was chewy and milk tea was good with the level of sweetness I wanted. I came here with my friends. They ordered before me. One of them wasn't aware the glass jar costs money and that she had the option to op out of it. If you don't want the glass jar, make sure to let the cashier know. Also, make sure you check in at Yelp to get a free jar. My other friend wasn't aware of the promotion and he bought it. I knew only because the lady in front of me told me about it. I think the shop can do a better job notifying customer. read more

The drink was pretty good, I liked how the price of the glass jar was only $2 because comparing it to Moo Bar their jars are way cheaper and it's simplistic so it's really pleasing. The ice cream was good while the milk tea was good but it's average, but for me I haven't found any boba spot that has really shattered my expectations yet read more

We're black owned, but asian mentored as a good-faith gesture to pay respect the culture that introduced bubble tea to the world. I really enjoyed my ube coffee with sea salt foam and my partner enjoyed his fruit tea with grass jelly. It wasn't busy while we were there, but it looks like they get a fair number of Doordash/takeout orders. While seating is pretty available, there is foot traffic around the register and the barista is busy preparing drinks. The shop itself is clean and a nice place to hang out and enjoy your drink. If you're into collectables/trying your luck, there's also 16 Gashapon capsule vending machines near the counter. Overall, our drinks were tasty and we were happy with our visit. We will be back if we're in the area.

I ended up ordering the Ice Green Tea with no sugar, just plain tea and ice. I don't know if there's cross contamination, or just being super over brewed, but the Jasmine Tea ( the green tea they use) was very very tart. I lean more toward tea quality for my boba drinks, so if you're like me, I wouldn't recommend this place if my visit is representative of their brewing capabilities. It looks like they have plenty of really sweet Milk Tea options for those who lean more toward that area though.

He's always friendly with me and my kids and knows what they will have and how they will order it, better than me even. The shop is walk in (or DoorDash), no drive thru. They have food items, pastries, and even ice cream. There are some places to sit and they have a super cool chalk mural on the wall that changes on occasion. The bathroom has been "temporarily closed" for quite some time. Their boba beverages are on the sweet side, especially compared to more traditional versions. But we love them. Blended is the way to go. There are several things to choose from but we prefer the boba pearls.
