    Elegant rose royal tea. Delish!
    Cindy A.

There are several locations of T4 shops in this area. This location is currently my favorite. The drinks made here seem to be stronger in flavor and therefore taste better to me. Who wants to pay for weak watered down tea? Not me. They do not charge extra for "no ice" and their overall prices are quite reasonable compared to some other tea shops. The menu has a great assortment of tea drinks and non tea drinks along with all the usual toppings. There is also a selection of food items including my favorite, bubble waffle. Service is prompt and friendly. There is seating available inside and outside as well. They also offer delivery thru GH. Highly recommend!

    Mango Royal Tea

I may not be Taiwanese, but them advertising 'Authentic Taiwan Taste' is a stretch. I visited this boba shop around 6pm on a Sunday for a refreshing drink. I ordered the Mango Royal Tea with Coconut Jelly. First disappointing this was even though I ordered coconut jelly, I got lychee jelly instead. Sipping on the drink was sweet and refreshing, but the mango flavor tasted so artificial and even chemically. However, my drink was not as worst as my friend's . She ordered a berry smoothie, but it turned out to be more of a slushie. There were huge ice chunks in it which were not very enjoyable and made it hard to drink. I feel as if our drinks weren't put much effort into since they were wrapping up for the day, but that really isn't an excuse for serving quality drinks. I would not recommend this spot as a good boba option in Portland.

    Ramen with wontons
    Christina S.

This review is for their ramen noodles with wonton. I added corn, eggs, porky belly, and some hot chili oil. It was a very delicious bowl of ramen, especially for the fact that it came out of a boba shop. Flavorful and super satisfying. It was lovely eating my bowl of ramen on a cold day, sitting on the stool by the window.

Amber pearl latte and Milk Tea with pearl and coffee jelly were delicious. Prices are very reasonable and service was quick and easy. Ordering was easy with plentiful seating with a good street view to people watch. Popcorn chicken was good but my partner ordered it too spicy for my taste.

    Taro Milkshake

I ordered a taro milkshake and it was very chalky - my shake wasn't blended well as I had clumps of ice and taro powder when I took a sip. The place was clean and I liked the happy hour pricing, otherwise that was quite honestly the worst taro I've had

Paid parallel parking on street in a shopping area. Has a big selection of drinks and snacks. Some seating options.

    Jasmine Green Milk Tea

T4 is great spot for boba in NW on 23rd. Their squid is really good. I love the boba, it is soft and perfectly sweet. The jasmine green milk tea and classic black milk tea are both super good. Staff is always very friendly and the space is large and clean!

    Sweet Potato Fries
    Whelin C.

The boba itself was delicious. The jasmine green milk tea had the perfect flavor. I ordered 30% sweet and it was just at the right level for one drink and slightly sweeter than normal (when I order from t4) but still pretty good. The sweet potato fries were okay, flavorless and bland without salt or any seasoning, so we asked for salt which the staff gave us happily. The service is pretty good, they are nice.

Clean and bright. The service was great! The food was flavorful for a tea house. We had the pot stickers, they were crispy and the dipping sauce was good. It wasn't overly salty; you get a lot for the money, the iced tea was mild flavored and refreshing. Great for an afternoon pick me up.

Came here for an afternoon break before heading up the mountain for sunset views. It's located in a hipster area with all that expensive outdoor gear stores. They have small table outside if you wanna sit outside and plenty of tables inside. Parking: paid street meters They have a good amount of drinks but since it was my first time I went with the basics. Green milk tea with small boba 50% sugar and light ice. The drink itself was pretty tasty and the boba was chewy. Compared to other boba shops, 50% sugar was very light here, I felt like I was basically drinking milk. If I came back I might do the 75% sugar

Caramel Milk Tea and Amber Pearl Latte
    Tajahnae S.

T4 is located in the hip area of 23rd street off burnside. it can be busy during the weekends, but today that space was very empty. we ordered the caramel milk tea with coffee jelly 80% and no alterations to the sugar and the featured amber pearl latte with half sugar and 80% ice. both drinks were delicious! we loved the options to customize ice and sugar to our liking. i love things super sweet and my partner doesn't. a win-win! it's paid parking on the streets so i recommend parking or leaving your car and just walk up and down 23rd. they don't carry cash and operate cashless due to a recent break-in so card/tap pay only! space is large and the offer outside seating for sunny days like today. cutest shop that also offers snacks to compliment your boba! we loved it here!!

The queue can get long but honestly moves quite quickly - the baos are LOADED up, made on the spot, and quite delicious. The vegetarian ones I've had are always chock full of vegetables and flavor and definitely don't disappoint. My husband and his omnivore friends can vouch for the beef/pork items also being hits. Their chili oil does NOT play around and packs a good amt of spice so fair warning if you dollop a ton of it on your bao. I also love that you can buy this by the jar if you'd like to take it home and enjoy-suffer the flames of spice -- Will definitely be grabbing a jar myself. Service is super friendly and they were very nice about helping us out due to a mix up in our order. Delicious, flavorful, well priced baos. Absolutely check it out on your walks in at the Farmer's Market and get in line for some tasty bites!

Normally I wouldn't care that much about service, but when a lady in a tacky light pink blazer tries to berate me for not having my order window still up on my phone to prove what my name and order was then we have a problem. What's the point of me providing my name and phone number in the order if you also must see my actual order on my phone? There wasn't even any customers in the restaurant while I was there picking up my order and there were only a few orders on the bench. I offered my name and that I was there for pick up, and I was happy to wait there patiently but this lady demanded to see the order on my phone because she couldn't find any order under my name. I must've closed the paid for order window on my phone on accident so I offered her my license to show her my name, but she got upset, huffed, and said "How are we supposed to give you your order if you don't show us what you ordered?" I did know what I ordered though because it was only 2 things, but she never asked me what I ordered or any other identifying information. Anyways, I ended up quickly finding my own order and she tried arguing that the order didn't say my name (I think she just couldn't read it cause it looks like their ink was running out on their order printer, but I was able to make out my own name and phone number on the order). I finally got my order though after I recited my phone number (which was on the order printout right in front of me so I could've lied anyways if that's what she was actually concerned about, but logic was thrown out the window from the very beginning). Anyways TLDR: service sucked. I won't be going back. You can find the same menu items with way better service at the Master Kong on SE Hawthorne.

Brunch in Portland, Oregon…read more.. After I read reviews about Portland's Chinatown, I searched for a dimsum place outside of Chinatown and found Jade Rabbit I liked the name of the place and saw that they had two kinds of rabbit-shaped dimsum! Another cool thing is that their menu is vegan... that means that I don't have to worry about dairy products that give me pain. We found free street parking about a half a block away and waited for Jade Rabbit to open at 11am. We didn't have reservations, but we're seated immediately. The decor was great! I enjoyed looking at all of the Rabbit figurines! The furniture was colorful and the convenient restroom had interesting decorations, too! The service was okay. Some items were not available and our server recited the list that included chow funn. Shucks! She came back later and said that the chow funn was, in fact, available... yay! Our server seemed a bit nervous as her hand shook and placed the special menu upside-down... LOL! We won't bite you! She recommended the Ube Jam drink - it was made with coconut cream... yes! The chow funn was a bit bland. We added some soy sauce. The Puto Pao Bunny Bao had an unusual flavor - maybe the brown sugar can be omitted because the black garlic and vegan pork might be fine without it? The Jade Rabbit Dumplings also could be more savory. Something was off... and the filling was a bit sparse. Anyway, maybe we could have ordered better, but we got what we wanted! Thank you for the cute food! Note: 22 percent is added to the bill - so no need to tip.
