First time here! We tried the Island Spice and the Banana Haze Shaken Espresso. The Island Spice was nowhere NEAR the level of spicy people on IG were making it out to be. (The IG girlies have zero tolerance apparently ). Loved the Banana Haze so much, I'm sad it's a seasonal flavor! I like all the different seating areas, nice for students! The barista was also very sweet! Definitely coming back here to try a Kava drink one day!

Visited this place on a weekday around 10 AM and thought it was a very cute coffee shop. It is located in a strip mall that seemingly doesn't have a lot going on, so I was hesitant but glad I stopped in. I decided to try an iced Island Spice latte since the seasonal drinks weren't out for the month yet. The barista wasn't too familiar with what was in the house mix, but it seemed like a cinnamon/paprika/nutmeg mix of sorts. I would definitely suggest it if you're into spice like I am, but do think it would have been even better with a bit of brown sugar/sweetness to balance it. I would definitely return to try more when I'm in the area!

One of our favorite coffee spots in Jacksonville, love the matcha due to they use coconut water. Love the tiki vibes, staff is attentive and service is top notch.

Cute shop. On theme with the name :) I was the only one in there. The guys was so nice and helpful and even fixed my order free of charge even though it was my fault do ordering wrong . Drink was really good. Gave it 4 stars due to price. It was over $10. I got tiramisu latter with an extra shot.

Cute little coffee shop with a fun tropical vibe! The decor is super inviting, the coffee was delicious, and the staff was friendly. Great spot to relax, catch up with friends, or get a little work done. Definitely worth a stop if you're in Jacksonville! I ordered the Tiramisu latte $7.30

Tiki Coffee -- After Thoughts Continuing my "JAX COFFEE CRAWL 2025" -- Stop 6 of 10! Visited after work around 12 PM and immediately loved the relaxed, island-inspired décor -- tropical vibes all around! The space offers a variety of seating options perfect for meetings, studying, or simply unwinding, from cozy tables to bar-style seating. The shop was clean, inviting, and already bustling with customers. Despite only one barista managing the counter, my drink arrived within an acceptable time, for me. Selection: Tiramisu Latte (Hot, regular size with oat milk -- no size options offered) The latte had a smooth, clean finish with no bitter or burnt aftertaste. However, I couldn't quite pick up the distinct tiramisu flavor -- more of a mild mocha latte with a light mascarpone note. The temperature could have been a touch hotter, but not a dealbreaker. Overall, still a pleasant and enjoyable cup. Glad I returned here as part of my 2025 Coffee Crawl to see the new seasonal offerings and refreshed atmosphere. A solid stop for those chasing laid-back island vibes and good java. of 5 (3 of 5)

The cutest, cozy, themed coffee shop I've been to in Jax. It's a great spot to meet up with friends or do some work on the free wifi. They have delicious pastries and I'm a big fan of their tiramisu latte. Be sure to check out their monthly specials!

Such a cute place! They only had 1 girl working behind the counter. Not good. The drinks and food came out soooo late. It was packed at 11am. They need two people at least working behind the counter. Keep that in mind you're gonna have a wait on a Sunday morning. Drink was expensive. Like always. It was ok. Just a cute atmosphere.

Tiki Java is very cozy and relaxing. It feels comforting and just an overall nice vibe. The barista was very friendly and assistive, she answered all my questions and made me feel welcomed. This cafe is great for studying or even catching up with friends! They offer games to play and books to read. They have a restroom for patrons and indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely a must to see for yourself!!

This place is super cute, it's a vibe in its self! I walked in and the young kid totally gave an energy and service that matched the vibe of the place! Was super impressed immediately! The menu had so many options but I was trying to stay clear of Sugar so made my own and it was DELICIOUS! Now idk if I just love Cuban coffee but it was so good and the perfect strength' definitely will be back! Plus they serve drinks in glass which is such an extra win in my opinion! Highly recommend!!

This was my first visit, and it definitely won't be my last. The decor and furniture create a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for enjoying your coffee and unwinding for a while. Noelle was our barista, and she did an outstanding job. She was very helpful throughout our visit. We started with the Vanilla Cold Brew, which I would rate 4/5. It wasn't too sweet, and you have the option to add flavored foam if you like. We chose the vanilla foam, and there are other milk options available. For my drink, I tried the Strawberry Matcha, and I absolutely loved it--5/5. It was my first time trying this specific drink anywhere, and it had the perfect balance of matcha and strawberry flavor. We also had the Guava Cheese Pastry, which I would rate 4.5/5. It was very flaky and had a good amount of filling without being overly sweet. The Pollo Empanada was also really good, rated at 4/5. It wasn't too spicy and had great flavor. The sauce on the side enhanced it even more. Lastly, we tried the Bombón, which was a standout--5/5. The barista informed us that this coffee is their specialty. It's made with equal parts espresso and condensed milk, and I couldn't resist adding a sprinkle of cinnamon on top. As someone who isn't typically a coffee drinker, I found it to be absolutely delicious.

Such a fun and cool coffee shop! If it weren't for our local coffee crawl then I wouldn't have known about Tiki Jax and they are so close to our home! I really loved this spot from the various flavors and food options they had! I ordered their tiramisu coffee which was awesome! Full of flavor! Their chicken empanada was filling and delicious! Great customer care and an all around fun experience! I will definitely add this to our list of favorite shops!

Very cute tiki vibe. Has a great lounge area making you feel at home. There is also additional seating at the bar and a couple of tables with chairs. They have a shelf full of books and games you keep entertained. Employee was quick and friendly while taking my order. I ordered the tiramisu latte hot and a pistachio crossiant. The flavor of the latte was delicious but the temperature was more like room temperature. I saw the employee make the espresso but I believe the milk was still cold when poured which is why temperature of latte was off. The crossiant was nice and crunchy with a pistachio mousse like filling.

While reservations are required, Laura the owner , was gracious enough to let us get transported to this wonderful place you see here. First off, this place is everything! The details from ceiling to wall to all the fixtures, it's very immersive, you are in the islands sir or ma'am! Goodbye Jacksonville! We were seated up front where performer Kalani Rose set the mood and infused the air with her lovely voice. The tempo was upbeat, the volume was just right, allowing for intimate conversation and lively chatter alike. Great for date nights and group outings. We ordered food including Aloha Sliders, Huli Huli Wings , and Furikake Fries. Food was good, would've loved more of the glaze on the mini burgers tho! The drinks we ordered included Mai Tai (rum based w/ orange ) and Halekulani (bourbon with pineapple orange and lemon) , these were delicious. A bit on pricey side but strong! But, you're paying for the presentation and the atmosphere! If you've ever been to the old tiki lounge off baymeadows from years past, this one is much better! The entire staff is so cool. Like really chill. Hubby and I really enjoyed our visit here! I'll bring the ladies next time!

Just some information to know it is primarily a bar, they only have about 6 appetizers to order from. The appetizers were good and came out very quickly. The first thing that caught my attention was the amount of times they put food down at our table we did not order after about the 3rd or 4th time of this happening it seemed to be something they do to up the bill in hopes you don't notice. The second thing that thoroughly surprised and bothered me was after ordering another round of drinks, the second the drink was put at our table the waitress came over to check us out. No one had asked for the bill so we were all confused as to why we were being told we needed to close out, especially since we had just ordered more drinks. The waitress tells our party they have another reservation coming and they need our table... We all scramble quickly to leave so there's no issue and once we were outside that's when we realized there was no time limit on our table nor did anyone ask to close out the tab. Thankfully the hula dancers and our own group made the experience great however this place is very clearly a money grab and should not be accepting more reservations than can be handled as it completely ruined the end of our experience.

I'll let the photos from other reviews do the talking, but if you enjoy a good backstory, ask about the history of the space. My mission for the night was simple: end the evening with a great gin cocktail. I started with the Donna Bella from the menu. It was well made, but I thought the bitters were a little too forward for my taste. Next, I asked for an off-menu modification: a Water Lily for Teresa, but made with Roku Gin. It was a strong contender--aromatic, balanced, and beautifully floral. If you're a fan of a French 75, this is a fun cocktail to explore. It's less citrus-forward and leans into a floral profile with a character that's hard to compare to anything else. For the final round, I went with bartender's choice. Mick asked a few questions about my flavor preferences and absolutely nailed it. They crafted a cocktail with Roku gin, snap pea cordial, aloe liqueur, egg white, lemon simple, mint, and citrus that was easily the highlight of the night. Fresh, layered, and memorable, it's a drink that deserves a permanent spot on the menu....Mission accomplished. If you're willing to wander beyond the barbershop business front and you consider yourself a spirit explorer, Volstead is well worth the visit. Go for a round...or two. If you're local, this could easily become your staple spot. For what it is, strong craft cocktail bar option. Bartenders choice is the way to go.

The house band is pretty good, a little bit on the young side, but they seem to get the job done. OK. After the house being played a set, they had a sit in sessions with various musicians, which is always nice. The atmosphere is subtle and quiet at least for a club. Location is great, and the staff seemed friendly. It's good to have a place in Jacksonville with an environment like this and a place where you can go and listen to jazz/blues. I wish there was more like this, maybe with a little bit of older, jazz, musicians and more people who appreciate jazz as it didn't seem like the audience was 100% jazz lovers, but that doesn't detract too much especially since there's not a lot of places in Jacksonville that do what they're doing here.

We've been here once before. We really liked it but it's been a while since then. We started with the Pao de Queijo, which is the cheesy bread you usually get at a Brazilian steakhouse. We both love this kind of bread and theirs was fantastic. I ordered the Pinanha Rustica and I am so happy that's what I settled on. I ordered the beef medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. The Chimichurri sauce was good but honestly, the beef didn't need the help. The thing that surprised me the most was how much I loved the Biro-Biro Rice as a side. It was a really unique combo of things I've never had together before. I would probably go back and order an entree of just that if they offer it! My wife ordered the Costela Ao Molha Madeira Com Risotto de Parmesao. She really liked how the risotto was super cheesy. She said it actually reminded her of the cheesy bread. The beef short rib was very tender and juicy. She said it was a simple dish that added up to something special. We rarely order dessert but decided to split the Petit Gateau de Doce de Leite. It was so rich, dense and delicious. The pecan ice cream with it was great as well. It was small but enough for us to split. I'm bummed I forgot to get our servers name because he was fantastic. Upon being shown to our booth, the floor by the table we were seated at was extremely slippery. At first I thought it was due to a fresh mopping and they had just forgotten a sign, but it stayed extremely hard to navigate the entire meal. Let's get into the highlights: some of the freshest table side guacamole I've ever had. Made right in front of you and you get a ton for what you pay for. My lunch portion of my Yucatán Quesadilla was only $9.99 as it was a Friday and it was just okay. Unfortunately, I did have to cut it myself. The "small" margarita for $12.99 is absolutely gigantic. In fact, every drink I saw come out was of ginormous proportion and seems to be the main draw here. Unfortunately, I was a bit let down by both the salsa, as even though there was a full bar, none of the options were all that tasty. The biggest detractor was honestly the service. Our server was extremely nice on the surface, but every opportunity was used to upsell by every member of the staff. A bigger drink, another appetizer, another drink, handing us their card and asking for a review following paying. I normally never have issue with this but it became overwhelming at a certain point. This restaurant absolutely feels like it has potential, but might suffocate over its mistakes in an extremely crowded Town Center/Southside Market.
