Ordered to-go around 8pm. Delicious food and wonderful service. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

    Birria burrito

Civilized sized burrito. Appropriately sized tacos. I ordered two burritos because I've been hurt so many times by other restaurants that I assumed for the price I'd be getting a small, depressed little thing. No, my friends, I was wrong. It's a chunky boy and it'll make you happy. Order two if you want leftovers. My toddler loved the birria consomé. The noodles are mostly on the floor, but at least 20% made it into her mouth so I call that a win. She insisted on drinking the consomé straight from the bowl, which was a mess, but I live to make her happy so I guess we'll just make full use of the washing machine later. Quality place. We'll be back.

    Birria ramen

Everything we had was delicious! I love birria tacos and these quesabirria tacos did not disappoint. I also tried my daughter's birria ramen and it was sooo good! The prices were not bad, the service was great, and the dining area and bathroom were super clean.

There are many factors as to why I rate my experience a 5/5. The first being the owners as they were warm and welcoming. They hold great conversation and provided a family ambiance. From that, I immediately knew that their food is made with love! And that's exactly how it tasted. I don't live in albq which means I will be craving this place until I return! So so so good! I got tacos and my friend got ramen! Thank you for sharing such great food, we will be back :)

It is truly one of those rare neighborhood gems that feels both authentic and incredibly welcoming. The service was impeccable from the start, but the highlight was truly the charming interaction with the chef. He was kind enough to personally walk me through the evening's selections, and we had the most delightful chat! I decided on one of my absolute weaknesses: the Fresh Pork Dumplings. The chef was quite attentive and offered to add an onion paste, but after a brief explanation of my preferences, he was more than happy to prepare them exactly to my liking. It's that level of bespoke attention that I truly adore. The dumplings arrived steaming hot in just a matter of minutes absolutely bursting with authentic, clean flavors. It was a thoroughly wonderful experience, and I shall certainly be making this a regular stop on my Uptown rounds!

Even though its a small parking lot in a strip plaza. Fresh hand pulled noodles are good, which were a little soft for my personal preference, but still good. It may sound strange but things with pork will taste porky. My girlfriend doesn't like pork, but can eat it, but she ordered the pork and shrimp dumplings and it was too porky for her. For me, it tasted just right because this is the flavors I grew up with. The dumpling dough had a nice texture that I prefer. My Ramen had a big fatty pieces of pork which is what I like. They didnt skimp. It was a good bowl of noodle soup. Wouldn't say its the best ramen I ever had, but it was good. Beef roll was good, I would say its one of the better ones I've seen in ABQ where its really filled with beef. Would recommend this. We also got soup dumplings and I will say that we didnt get the proper spoons for them. At first I thought they just didnt offer them, but looking at photos, we never got them. It makes a difference for your eating experience and enjoyment. We will definitely be back as this is one of the better Chinese restaurants in the area and you really get some real Chinese variety and not your basic generic stereotypical menu.

The food comes lukewarm at best it has to be reheated. I started out with the eggrolls which are very good but at the same time are pretty darn expensive. Overall the place is somewhat expensive, but everything is made to order even all the noodles. The Sesame Chicken was quite tasty as was the spicy beef but the meat was quite tough considering it was thinly sliced. The pot stickers were a bit underdone and cold so we warmed them up. Lastly the jalapeño bomb was surprisingly enjoyable. The burst of flavors is something I really look forward to again. I would say it could've been just a little less crunchy and it would've been perfect.. We'll make sure that on the next visit we eat in.

I honestly thought that it was a very Americanized Chinese restaurant all along until I got to talk to one Chinese lady who also lived here and told me that the food here was good! So, I was so determined to get here one day after feeling a little homesick for more authentic Asian food. Usually I would end up at a Vietnamese or a Chinese place I had been to, but this time I wanted to try something new and I'm so glad I did choose Fun Noodle Bar. The staff were nice and it was so no frills eating there. I did get a pan fried bao and a Chicken Fun Noodke soup (but I switched our chicken for beef instead!). I also loved that I could pick the neat I wanted for my pants fried bao (i chose pprk because pork was probably more traditional style of bao). And oh, after my first bite of the bao, all I could think of was wow...that hit the spot for me! I actually debated ordering more..but that's probably too unhealthy to be eating two servings at once!! The noodle soup was ok it tasted good but a little bland for my taste. Next time, I would probably try the real Chinese style noodles like youpou or thick flat handmade noodles with some chili based soup instead! No photos thus time as I was so hungry looking for food that I forgot to bring my cell phone to take photos. But you bet next time I'm there, I wthere! enjoying and exploring more authentic options there again soon!

The staff is always pretty friendly and accommodating. I shared an app, a roll and an order of salmon sashimi with a friend on both visits. The food is always fresh, and delicious! The quality of the food is great and everything is always aesthetically pleasing as well. I had their avocado bomb on my last visit and I was delightfully surprised with it. I like avocado in most cases, but sometimes, it can be a lot at one. I thought this was going to be like that when I saw it, but I was wrong. I look forward to getting one of these on my next visit! On my last visit my friend and I saved room for a dessert, one that we saw rotating on their screens that they have in the restaurant showcasing some of the menu items. It was so good last year that we actually had a conversation with the owner about them being from San Francisco, after I told him it was the best Chinese food I've had in America outside of San Francisco. Well, that has changed significantly, and not for the better. We made a trip down from Santa Fe this week, specifically to eat at Noodle Works. Yes, we drove over an hour each way on Monday just to eat here. What a mistake! It was clear the General Tzo chicken was microwaved and not fresh fried. It was absolutely inedible! Mall food court Chinese is better than this dish was. Strange because almost exactly 1 year ago their General Tzo's dish was among them best I've ever tasted. I know this dish is not authentic, but to serve pre-fried then microwaved chicken is inexcusable! The Singapore Noodle dish this time was incredibly dry. The curry was more like a dry rub stuck to the noodles than it was a real curry sauce. Again... mall food court quality. Another dish that used to be amazing here. The crab in the crab rangoon was so fishy you could smell it before it was even delivered to the table. It had clearly sat out unrefridgerated during prep for far too long. It was inedible, or of fear of getting food poisoning... they did take it off of our bill. We are so disappointed in how bad the quality has fallen off in the last year! We loved them so much in the past that we will give them one more try, but we will not be making a special trip down from Santa Fe to eat here again. We REALLY hope they get their act together because we really like the employees and owner and want to continue to support them. Management did apologize without being prompted for the slow service and poor quality food, so hopefully they know serious improvement is needed if they are to stay in business. We wish them the best because they are great people. Good luck!

The steak taco had a good amount of steak and was 2nd best. The shrimp taco had 2 mid-small shrimp, but was tasty and 3rd best. No tomatoes or salsa, but I said absolutely no cilantro, so that may be why. A consume is available for dipping and I enthusiastically recommend it, the flavor was rich, meaty and properly seasoned. The manager was attentive and friendly, but the waitress appeared to be a bit inexperienced, slow to get around the tables. She had a great personality, gave great insight on the food and was quite welcoming. She'll be a star in hospitality/food if she puts in the time and effort. The ambiance is your standard "strip mall dive" type booths and tables that aren't there to impress, but get the job done.
