The constant misogynist jokes and racial innuendos were really hard to take. He berated nearly every African-American political leader with the implicit suggestion that it was because of their race. Everything culminated one day when a guy came into get a haircut for his wedding. The owner gave some unsolicited marriage advice to him. His advice was that the customer needed to start the marital relationship by showing his wife who the boss was and by giving her a good beating. Yes, you read that correctly! I will happily drive from Towson early in the morning to meet Kevin. He is the best. His demeanor is professional yet I had the most fun when we collaborated together to give me a cut that wasn't "tradtional."
