My favorite neighborhood Barbershop situated in Charles Village . Everyone at OMB is so talented , the shop has a chill rocker vibe . Frank has cut my Sons hair since he was 11-12 , he's now 19. Each cut has always been precise . They cater to everyone with all textures of hair which is a huge plus . read more

Always have hated getting my haircut, but now I look forward to going and spending time with Jaimie. And, of course, she does a great job with the little hair I have left. read more

Great place for a hair cut. Friendly staff. Good music. ......Filler for yelp's idiotic 85 character rule........ read more

I was excited to try this place as I read some good comments on social media. Bottom line, frank didn't listen to what I requested. Honestly, the chain smoker Cambodian lady from the hair salon a few blocks down could do the same or better. Not worth the $43. ($30 haircut + $10 tip + $3 ATM fee) read more

I wish I'd had a better experience here. I came in on a Tuesday at 1 o'clock for a walk-in appointment. After waiting a half hour, another walk-in came in and was told that they were fully booked for the day (I had not been told that, nor given any estimated wait time). I'm not sure when my haircut was going to be squeezed in if they were fully booked, but after a total of 45 minutes and still no haircut or ETA in sight, I walked out the door. I understand the perils of walking-in, but that doesn't mean I can't be given appropriate warning about the potential wait. And maybe make an extra effort as I put on my coat and explain why I'm leaving, to maybe salvage a new relationship? Better communication would have virtually ensured them a new recurring customer, as my former salon has closed and I'm shopping for a new one. read more

Great barbers, professional service, and a funky and stylish barbershop. I have received great haircuts from Frank and Bubs (hope I'm remembering their names correctly!), but you can't go wrong with any of the barbers there. The price is standard for a men's haircut in Baltimore, although the barbershop accepts cash only. This place is definitely an asset to the Remington area, and the owners have done the old row home justice in the way they've refinished it. read more

I've at 3:00 pm and I've been waiting for 45 min to get a shape up the female beautician has been on the phone for over 30 min. the other two barbers has taken two heads ahead of me. Im not sure but it's feeling a like this shop is not equipped to handle black customers is very upsetting to have to wait this long for service I will never come here again read more

I had an appointment with Frank. Great guy, and a very good barber. All the other barbers were also professional. Great atmosphere! Frank cut my hair effortlessly and did a great job with my haircut. I definitely recommend Frank! read more

I've been coming to Old Market for a few years now, and I'm still a huge fan. Yesterday, I had a wonderful experience with Sarah - she was kind, cheerful and very attentive and detail-oriented. She took her time perfecting my haircut. When I got home, my bf was blown away at how sexy I looked. He said Sarah did a fantastic job - and that's high praise coming from him as he's a perfectionist with his hair. He said I looked like a movie star and during this crazy time now, it really made my day more bearable. Highly recommend this place! Thank you Sarah! read more

This place is definitely the best haircut I've had in Baltimore. I have been here 3 times in the last 3 months and had my hair cut by 3 different people, and I have always loved the result. The shop has opened in the last year and I hope it is successful! The best hair cut for the price.....a great value! Only heads up is CASH only, but they are cool with you running to the ATM if you forgot cash or didn't know. Definitely check this place out! read more

I usually go to Old Bank Hampden, but they are always so busy it often takes well over an hour to get in and out. I tried the Remington location in a effort to save time today and it was much quicker with the same high quality/low price haircut they are known for. Ive gotten my hair cut a lot at the Hampden one and this time at Old Market in Remington the cut was just as good and a whole lot quicker. Didn't even have time to finish my Natty Boh before my name was called. They aren't always perfect, but always solid. I've been complimented/asked where I go quite a bit after getting a fresh cut and /or recommended to multiple people telling them "the worst haircut I've gotten at Old Bank/Market is still better than the best haircut I've gotten anywhere else". That said, please don't go here, I would like it if the wait times stay reasonable. read more

Friendly shop. John is an excellent barber and always makes me feel welcome. Really nice to have such a great place in walking distance. Make an appointment ahead of time. read more

Greeted immediately upon arrival, haircut started right on appointment time, and can't beat the price to quality ratio. I'll second other posts on great overall vibe, very laid back and comfortable place. Shout out to AJ for a great haircut (exactly what I asked for) and pleasant conversation. Highly recommend and will be back! read more

Very old school and exactly what I was looking for. Was shocked that they didn't take plastic but guy who cut my hair was accommodating and took a payment app. Very pleased with cut. Only disappointment was that I was moving that week and couldn't go back for another cut. read more

Awesome! Free beer, great music, and better service! I will be back! Peyton OUT! read more

Sister (brother?) location of Old Bank Barbers. Same great barbers who are at Old Bank are also here (not a clone situation, just that they have different days at both locations). Just a tad smaller here, but easy to find and parking is pretty much level with Old Bank. Check out the schedule so you can come see your favorite barber. Just for clarification: I don't get my hair cut but these awesome guys, my teenager does. He sees Bubs, who has helped him figure out what haircut suits him. Bubs has been a driving force in making sure my kid is confident in what he wants and how to ask for it- making sure he is ready for when he leaves for college and (sadly) will have to find a new barber. read more

Got a walk in spot as mistook for other closed barber and got a great cut! Thanks again

Bubs is such a polite and helpful barber! He worked with me to help me figure out what I want cut wise and was super patient with me. Cut came out great, the single blade razor was a nice touch to finish out the cut. Wait was long but 100% worth it. Great people, would suggest a cut from anyone, not just Bubs! read more

After getting disgusted with myself for getting botched haircuts at the local el cheapo barber shop, I drove into the city to Old Market. Parking at that location is easier than Old Bank. Covid appointment made quickly online. Sarah gave me the best darn haircut a guy could ever hope for. She took her time and nailed it. Thank you Sarah! A $75 haircut for $25. And only $10 more than El Cheapo. Old Market and Old Bank are treasures. read more

Best haircut place you will find. Cash only heads up but they know what they're doing

Got two haircuts here. First time was super uneven and way shorter than I asked but thought about giving it a second shot. Went back two months later. Was extraordinarily specific about the fact I just wanted a slight trim. He cut my hair extraordinarily short, it is super uneven, looks terrible and there is this one spot he cut a massive hole that is way shorter than anything else. Will unfortunately need to go back as its the most accessible one in the area but will make sure to get any other barber in the place next time. To be clear, this place has given my friend great haircuts, just the guy I got both times screwed me over. read more

First time today and it won't be the last. I'm bald and I have a beard. Trimmed up nicely for $8. Price is great, cut was great. I'll be coming back on a biweekly basis for sure. read more

Take all the best aspects of Old Bank, and move them further south to Old Market. All my favorite barbers are here - and the wait is shorter! read more

High-quality cuts at a great price. And it's next door to Parts & Labor, so it's easy to get a nosh and a drink afterwards.

Great and friendly staff...great first experience. Going back today (1 week later) to get cleaned up. Highly recommend when in Baltimore's Remington neighborhood. Will keep going to Old Market Barbers whenever I am visiting Baltimore. read more

Wether it's Old Bank or Old Market, I've had every barber and never a bad cut. Price is fair for the service as well. Grab a beer or water while you wait and listen to some good tunes. A+++ read more

Had a really good experience at this place! I was in a rush, and my usual walk-in barber shop was packed, and Old Bank was full too. Headed over to Old Market and there wasn't much of a wait. I was really glad I stayed. I can tell that all the barbers there are good. I got a great skin fade at the same price as my other barber shop. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

One of the most interesting Barber shops around. Highly skilled barbers make it a gem in this up and coming area. Take some time to just relax and get a haircut. Don't forget to look around at all the vintage things in the shop as you sip on a free Boh! read more

Had a great experience today at Old Market Barbers. My son who is very picky about who cuts his hair loved his cut and the barber. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. We are excited to have found this spot and will definitely be back. read more
