This store should be here for a long time but we only went there until this week after living in this neighborhood over one year. I think because it has a construction site on Yonge Street next to College Station. It's not very easy to notice this high-quality Taiwanese bubble tea shop. It's called Tiger Sugar because they make pearls (tapioca in caramelized brown sugar) stick on the inner wall of the plastic cup on purpose and make the Patterns look like Tiger's stripes. I like most their indoor seats. It's quiet and the chairs are super comfortable. I think whether they're ergonomic chairs. Anyway, the drinks were good, the service was good and the seats are comfortable and less crowded. I recommend coming here with your laptop rather than going to Starbucks!

This is their flagship location. It was at Yonge and Elm previously but has now opened in a much bigger space with indoor seating at Yonge and Carlton. The soft opening was on 2022-11-09 and the grand opening will be on 2022-11-12. The grand opening special is BOGO on 95% of the menu on 2022-11-12 to 13. The restaurant is nicely decorated. There is a new brightly lit tiger on one walk. Of course I had to take a photo with it because I was born in the year of the tiger. There were so many staff making the drinks quickly. Service was courteous and cheerful. At Tiger Sugar, boba are the standard size tapioca while pearls are the small size tapioca. We ordered the following: 1. (Black Sugar) Boba Tofu Soy Milk with Cream Mousse (large $8.45). 2. Tiger Cheese Mochi Boba (large $8.45). 3. (Tiger) Mango Sago (large $8.25). 4. Taro Pudding Milk Tea (large $7.45). All 4 drinks are colourful and photo-worthy. We could only drink the first 3 drinks, saving the 4th for the next day. All 3 were delicious. The tofu and mango were very fresh. The mochi was smooth and fun trying to suck it up the straw (yes it can be done). There are about 5 tables for indoor dining. The store is not wheelchair accessible. There are no customer washrooms. There are very few paid street parking but you can park at the College Park parking lot. Review 2022- 122

Green tea latte with mousse and boba

I was so excited to hear that Tiger Sugar would be coming back to Downtown Toronto after its location closed not too long ago! Despite so many other nearby boba shops, Tiger Sugar manages to stand out with its unique and wide variety of drinks. We got the iced green tea latte, which comes with boba and cream mousse, all for around 6.50 for a regular. It was one of the top 8 drinks also. The mousse made it nice and creamy, and the green tea flavour was prominent but not overpowering. Super delicious and while I'm one to drink boba pretty slowly, I found myself drinking this one pretty fast lol. We got 50% sweetness, which was already pretty sweet so I can't imagine how sweet 100% is. Also, I'm guessing since we got 100% ice, the boba became a bit tough after awhile, but not unbearable; it just depends on your preference! Will definitely be coming back soon to try their other drink options!!

When Tiger Sugar first opened on Yonge/Carlton, I was excited to go visit as I had heard numerous good reviews about its other locations. I, especially, heard several people recommending that I should try out their black sugar boba milk tea, as it not only looked aesthetically pleasing, but it tasted amazing as well. Falling under the peer pressure of others, I decided to make the trip to Tiger Sugar on the first day it opened, and I ultimately ventured into a small but very cozy store. The line was big (as was expected, especially as they were kindly offering a buy one, get one free deal), however the employees did an excellent job of serving everyone swiftly to ensure the line kept moving. I ended up getting the Black sugar boba milk tea to see if the hype lived up to its standard -- and it certainly did. When I first got the drink, I was slightly nervous to drink it as it looked like a work of art. But when I got over my fear and ultimately took the first sip, it tasted very nice. The drink also had several boba's ranging in sizes (medium and regular) which was a pleasant surprise as they tasted delicious. At the end, one of the employees also kindly offered a coupon, which offered a 50% discount on the next visit on the purchase of a second bubble tea, which means I'll be visiting them very soon to make full use of it!

Tiger Sugar has recently opened in downtown Toronto and as a result they had a great BOGO offer which was too good to say no to! We were met with a , as expected, huge line which did move very quickly and the staff seemed more than happy to fulfill everyone's requests. The interior hasn't got much seating but it's super swanky and has huge displays of their famous Instagram worthy drinks backed with a LED giant Tiger! It was really hard to pick what to get, however they had a lost of their top ten drinks and therefore I decided to go for what they are most famous. The black sugar series. I opted for the black sugar series milk tea with boba and coffee jelly as well as cream. I was handed one of the drinks that glazed their walls, with their unique sugar spills on the cup which made the drink look stunning. The tapioca was super tasty with a mix of small and large , which I really enjoyed! It had a great flavour to it. The coffee jelly was also super yummy. The overall drink was a little bland though, and I relied on the tapioca for most of my flavour. I don't think I'd buy this full price. Otherwise a nice experience :)

It's good to see another Taiwanese bubble tea shop opened in Toronto. Tiger sugar is known for its black sugar pearl milk tea, the rich caramelized aroma combined with chewy boba texture, what a masterpiece! The interior environment is chill and comfortable, especially the inviting concept and the soft sofa. The staffs are welcoming and the space is huge compared with other bubble tea shops. They also have many power sockets, you could bring laptop and sit for awhile, highly recommended!

Tiger Sugar is one of my favourite bbt chains. Great brown sugar favour and the Pearl is one of the best. Tasted great very chewy and they got two different sizing. The small one are delicious

Small bubbletea shop that also serves pastries and Filipino meals…read more Their standout offering, of course, is the bubbletea. The tea is loose-leaf, so is elevated from the typical bubbletea. But it's the tapioca that really makes the drink shine with how fresh and bouncy they are. For a tea shop, this place also has really good food. Tried the scones and they were super buttery, very flavourful, and were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside like all great scones. We also got some Filipino meals - the lechon kawali and lumpia super crispy, the bangsilog had a good portion size for the price, and the halo-halo was refreshing. Place is mainly a takeout spot, but there are a couple of small tables to sit 4. Service is friendly. Tea offerings are extensive. Worth a drop-by.

Walking in, there's a great amount of cakes, cookies, and drinks. Cookies: The matcha white chocolate cookie was freshly made. Quite soft and delicious. Reasonably sized cookie. Yema cake: It was my first time having the Yema cake so I was looking forward to try it. I got the ube flavour and a soft chiffon cake texture. It wasn't too sweet and was perfect for a nice small dessert. The staff were friendly and the service was good. It's too bad there's limited seating as it would be great to dine-in. I definitely want to come back to try out their drinks!
