Super fast. Went here for a headlight lightbulb change. Gave him the keys, changed the bulb and then paid, all under 10 mins.

Rick offered to show me the parts, but I declined, figuring that if he was trying to rip me off, he'd find a way to replace all 4 brakes!

Five Star. In the rarefied world of motorsport, where a single misaligned suspension link or a…read morefraction of a bar of tire pressure can decide victory or catastrophe, teams entrust their multi-million-dollar machines only to engineers who combine forensic diagnostic ability with absolute moral clarity. Princeton Auto Repair, under the direction of Freddy, operates at precisely that level. I brought my car in with a concerning drivability issue that had already defeated two other shops. Freddy didn't reach for the parts cannon. He approached the vehicle the way a Formula 1 race engineer approaches telemetry data--methodically, brilliantly, and without ego. Within minutes he had isolated the root cause through a combination of deep systems knowledge, precise measurement, and an almost intuitive understanding of how modern powertrains actually behave under real-world load. The repair was executed with race-team precision: every torque value correct, every fluid replaced to specification, every system re-calibrated and verified. The car left feeling sharper, quieter, and more responsive than it had in years. What separates Freddy from every other mechanic I have ever encountered is not merely his technical mastery--though that alone would place him in the top 1 % of the profession. It is his uncompromising integrity. He explained, in clear and respectful language, exactly what needed attention and, more importantly, what did not. No phantom repairs. No "while we're in there" upsells. No inflated labor hours. The final invoice matched the diagnosis and the work performed to the cent. In an industry where trust is the rarest commodity, Freddy restores it completely. Equally impressive is the front-of-house team. From the first phone call to the final handoff, they were warm, responsive, and genuinely invested in making the entire process effortless. They communicated updates proactively, accommodated my schedule without friction, and treated every customer with the same respect one would expect from a world-class motorsport hospitality unit. I have driven and maintained vehicles for decades. I have seen factory teams, privateer squads, and every shade of independent workshop in between. Princeton Auto Repair, led by Freddy, is the only facility I have ever encountered that consistently delivers the combination of elite technical capability, transparent communication, and ethical business practice that defines the very best in motorsport engineering. Whether you rely on a minivan for school runs, errands, and family life or simply need honest care for your daily driver, place it in Freddy's hands. You'll receive race-team precision without the upsells or surprises. This is not merely the best local repair shop--this is the standard by which all others should be judged. Paul

Dishonest Auto Repair Shop - Overcharged and Poor Communication…read more I had a frustrating experience with this auto repair shop. After the service, I asked for a receipt and was told it would be emailed. A day later, I still hadn't received anything, so I sent a follow-up email--no response. I had to drive all the way back just to get my receipt. When I finally got it, the receipt was vague and unprofessional. It didn't break down the cost of parts and labor--instead, everything was lumped together. They charged me $100 to replace an engine oil drain plug cap and "diagnose" the issue. I looked up the part on the dealership's website--it costs just $12. You do the math. This kind of lack of transparency and excessive pricing is unacceptable. I wouldn't trust them again. And I just realized the receipt had actually been created that same day ( the day I drove back)---meaning they didn't even prepare it after my service like they said. That's incredibly dishonest.
