Wasn't sure if I wanted to try this place after recent reviews but their special sounded like a good way to give them a try. I had the chicken tikka masala with medium spice, garlic naan and vegetable samosas. The serving had about 8 chicken chunks with plenty of sauce. I think it was a good sized dinner portion for an adult or in my case, lunch for two to share. I am not too well versed in Indian food but it was pretty good. The medium spice was a bit mild for me so I might ask for a little more heat next time. We picked up the food and it was ready at the time we specified.

Butter chicken with Basmati Rice and Butter Naan

Great Food.! Should be able to give 4.5 stars but not able to do that. Not sure where these reviews are from but I have this food today and it is absolutely tasty! Well made Naan, very Flavorful Tikka Masala and Butter chicken and they don't taste the same. Arrived hot. Rice is seasoned as well. This is some of the best Indian food in south Jersey !

Vegetable Samosa

Order delivered via ubereats as they had a BOGO on naan and samosa. Food made correctly and arrived hot. Tasted great overall with soft and fluffy naan. Samosas were tasty and included side of chutney. Only complaint was the small portion on paneer makhani entree. After paying $18, it could've been bigger sized. Spicy request still wasn't spicy enough. Would consider ordering again.

My wife and I stopped in Tiffin for lunch recently. Tiffin is located on the corner of Route 70 and Springdale Roads, in of course, a strip mall. The space is very pleasant and has a simple but pleasant vibe. Tiffin is nicely decorated and there was some cool lighting going on. They display their spices behind the counter. Tiffin has 6 locations is Pennsylvania, this is their first in South Jersey. Lunch was $11.00 each, and came with an entree, classic Naan bread and a vegetable samosa. We had the Chicken Tika Masala, my personal favorite Indian dish, and the Lamb Roganjosh. (lamb, ginger and garam masala). Both dishes were excellent and we shared them mini-family style. Neither dish had a lot of heat. The Nann bread was great, hot and fresh and the samosa was not greasy and had a nice kick to it. The lunch price isn't a bargain but it was very reasonable for the quality of the food and the three different items included. The portions were a good size. My wife was digging the Spotify music channel Tiffin was playing also. Our server was really pleasant and attentive. The food came out fairly quickly. Nice place and a good addition to the area's growing Indian cuisine choices.

Gai Chicken & Rice - SPICY FRIED CHICKEN BOWL

Gai Chicken & Rice

Gai Chicken & Rice is a fast casual order-at-the-kiosk type restaurant that's primarily for take…read moreout. We almost always go straight for the Roasted Chicken Bowl (which comes with ginger rice and a 'salad') or the Roasted Chicken Plate (which comes with 1 side). It's such a unique combination of flavors that you can't get easily in the area that isn't overly greasy or one note. The service, while somewhat introverted at times, is always friendly and they're always willing to answer questions, which my introverted side certainly prefers myself. This is a franchised location so this issue is out of their control, but I wonder sometimes if they made the menu more complicated than there has to be. There are a lot of different pathways to order food with the seemingly same options. I wonder if they'd get more success if they treated it like a Chipotle where you picked your protein (broiled chicken vs. roasted vs. fried vs. wings), pick your 1-2 sides, and call it a day. Anyway... The things nobody talks about: - Restrooms: There's a single occupancy restroom - Accessibility: It's all wheelchair accessible - Seating: Ok, it's very limited. There are two rows of tables, each 'row' accommodating four people on each side, but you'd be hard pressed to have people on both sides eat. While they aren't busy enough to make this a problem, you should be prepared to do take out if needed. - Will it fill you up? It depends. In most cases, yes, but some items (looking at you Roasted Chicken Plate), by default, might leave you hungry if you only selected that single side. - Dietary Notes: Gai in Cherry Hill is a franchised location (I think) versus the mothership Gai in NYC. That means the menu online may not match with what's available in Cherry Hill so if you really want to know what you're trying, be sure to 'Order Online' at CHL and read that menu first. For example, the vegetarian bowl is not available in CHL.

Hands down 10/10 every time I have eaten here, which is well over 20 times. I have not found vegan shawarma anywhere else in NJ or any other state thus far. The family who owns the restaurant is personable, friendly and accommodating. They have the recipe to exceptional customer service. The restaurant has a carry out section as well as a place to dine in. Ambiance is clean and simple. No frills yet the food is A++.

Solid option for Mediterranean takeout…read more We were bringing dinner to a friend's house and placed our order online ahead of time. This restaurant has a separate storefront for takeout (directly next to the dine-in area). They also have a nice market attached. Our dinner was packaged nicely and boxed up efficiently. Kudos for that! Our items included a Gyro combination platter, the Beef Shawarma wrap, the grilled chicken with garlic toom, and an order of chicken fingers and french fries. We also ordered a side of spicy french fries. Everything was prepared nicely, and everyone enjoyed their selection. There were very few slices of marinated lamb for the Gyro combination platter, though. I was hoping for a little more, but what I received was very delicious. Maybe next time we will dine-in!
