When I picked up and dropped off my car, only one person was working. While they were very friendly and did their best, they could easily become overloaded when multiple people show up. When I picked up my car, I waited ~20min for the two parties ahead of me, which is reasonable, but I could also drive 20 min away to another larger location in that time. Avis cars are typically cleaner and have lower mileage than other neighborhood rental agencies. Check to see if your car insurance covers rentals, as it's certainly more expensive if you get it from Avis.

They told me it was fine, and to leave the keys in the dropbox. While I was looking through my receipts the next month, I find out that they charged us for an additional day. No warning. No email. No phone call. They charged us almost half the entire rental cost for the weekend for being a few hours late. We had returned the vans late because we were cleaning and vacuuming them out to return them in better condition. Because they said it was no problem, we took the time to clean them up well. They punished us with over $300 in fines. I called in, no correction. We won't be doing business with them again.
