After a comprehensive inspection, they honestly told me that everything looked great and no repairs were needed. Many shops would have charged for unnecessary work or even for the inspection itself, but they did neither. Their integrity, professionalism, and customer-first approach were truly refreshing. I'll definitely return if I need service in the future. The staff was friendly, and the shop was exceptionally clean and well-maintained.

I have a Ram TRX and had purchased a pair of Flowmaster Outlaw mufflers myself on Amazon. I found some that were returns/like-new for a great price, so I brought them in and had Affordable Muffler remove the factory mufflers, fit the Flowmasters into the existing exhaust, and weld everything back together. They did a great job. The welds look clean, everything was installed nicely, and I'm extremely happy with how the TRX sounds. I was happy enough with their work that some friends with TRXs ended up going there and having the same thing done. My one warning is to be VERY clear about the price before they start. I talked to the guy three different times and somehow got three different prices. Ultimately, I paid the price we had agreed on, so there wasn't a problem. I don't think he was trying to be sketchy--it felt more like a small-business owner negotiating and trying to make a deal--but I'd definitely recommend confirming the final price before they start working. It's a small operation, basically a guy and his helper in an area with several automotive repair businesses. Don't expect a fancy performance shop, but that's also not what I needed. For a straightforward job like mine--cutting out the existing mufflers and welding in replacements--I would absolutely go back. If I were doing a complete custom exhaust system, I'd personally go to a dedicated performance shop that specializes in designing and building full exhaust systems. For what I asked Affordable Muffler to do, though, they did it very well. Good-looking welds, good installation, and my TRX sounds fantastic with the Flowmaster Outlaws. Just make sure everyone is on the same page about the price before the work starts.

My daughters have high mileage cars (makers Japanese and German) and try to keep them in great condition. Century has proven to be a trusted automotive care source for both routine maintenance and repairs. Their service goes well beyond transmission repair to just about any concern related to cars. Their hourly rate is less than the dealerships and no attempts to upsell you on items beyond the immediate reason for the visit. The staff is very capable and do a great job of explaining any service or functionality of car's parts impacted. I especially appreciate the follow up after the service to confirm all is working well.

As a Yelper who like to help small businesses, I would never rate someone bad but this one is worth…read morea bad review. I requested a quote and this was through the Yelp feature that 4 additional businesses responded to the request. Tisdell was one of them and had beat the other quotes. SINCE THEY HAD A 5 STAR ON YELP I DECIDED TO PURSUE THEM BUT THE RATING WAS SO DECEIVING! Red Flag 1: The spokesperson(or maybe the owner) Andre first asked me to communicate via text since her was not active on Yelp. Red Flag 2: Then when I asked him to schedule an appointment via voice, he had me say the agreed amount and that I agree to pay ( that was awkward, trust me). During this verbal agreement, he left out one of the services in the quote and when I asked for it he added another $100 to the cost! When confronted with the snapshot of the Yelp quote he agreed to the original quoted price and said that he misquoted but he will honor it. Red Flag 3: NO SHOW! Yes - he never showed up! Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I called to reschedule which he did. But guess what? He cancelled the day of the appointment. I decided to give it one last chance and rescheduled again. But this time, I WAS GHOSTED! I guess it wasn't worth all the effort after all!

Best and most professional mechanic I have ever worked with!…read more I called Andre on a Monday is regards to my battery light coming on and off. I explained to him what the car was also doing. Without hesitation, he informed me of what he thought the problem was. Sure enough, his pre-diagnosis over the phone was correct. I had originally wanted to set up an appointment for the following weekend. However, I had some free time a few days later and without hesitation he agreed to meet me that same day I asked if we could move the appointment to an earlier date. Upon meeting, we shook hands and he went straight to work. In about 1 1/2 hours my car was ready to go! He had also found a part that I needed to replace ASAP, but the part was special order. It was such an easy thing to fix, that he taught me how to do it myself. From the beginning to the end, Andre is a top mechanic. He was honest, courteous, professional and even taught me how to do a simple fix myself so that I could save myself some money. All that tells me that he genuinely cares about his customers. Tisdell's Mobile Mechanic is in my number one mechanic to go to. I know you won't be disappointed!

On the southwest side it is close to the tollway. I had already been communicating via text with my salesman Dammy, and I was able to coordinate a test drive and the hours he worked. Drove up and the car was waiting for us. Took a look at vehicle thoroughly and decided it was not what I was looking for. However Dammy actually took the time to listen and searched his inventory for a newly listed model that was practically brand new. I test drove it and decided that I wanted the vehicle and immediately went inside around 6:30 pm to make a deal. They close at 8pm. Dammy did not waste any time making the deal work for us. Went to finance with Ryan and was out the door at 8:25 pm very happy! The guys here are very respectable and not pushy. I was especially happy with the service and clear communication throughout the entire process. We came back the next day to pick up my car and everything was ready including the new license plates which Dammy took the time to install himself. Overall a great place to buy!
