I called Simi Valley Plumbing this morning around 10 am. The phone was answered quickly by an actual person, not an answering machine. Clearly they were busy, the phones were ringing off the hook. I state my problem and the guy I'm talking too tells me he will get ahold of one of his plumbers and give me a call back, in 10-15 minutes. At this point I'm thinking it's gonna 3 hours before he call back. I was so wrong, 10 minutes later the guy calls me and says a plumber is on his way. Ray shows up, finds the leak and tells me he has to go get the part. 20 minutes later Ray is back and the problem is fixed. What a great company, great customer service, quality plumbers, and the problem was fixed in a timely manner. I wish definitely use the again.

I had to have to 3/8 angle valve replaced for my new dishwasher. I called and was given an…read moreappointment right away. SVP was able to come out the next morning. Ray came to replace the piece. Unfortunately when he went to replace it had corroded and had to be replaced. The original was over 25 years old and plastic so it snapped off. He replaced it with a copper fitting and the valve now turns on and off easily for the dishwasher. Ray was great and explained what was going on and showed me all of what he was replacing and how the valve should have been working all along. I appreciated the lesson in plumbing. The price was reasonable compared to working with other plumbers. I highly recommend SVP and will call again for plumbing issues that arise. Ray was great to work with.

We were really patient and understanding because we get it he runs a business and we changed a few things here and there but it took 8-9 weeks to redo our very small bathroom. I can't remember the amount of times Jesse would say they would be here tomorrow and they wouldn't show up for a day even two with zero communication. We would have to reach out and ask when they're coming. Despite the communication and time it took to finish this project because again, they would skip days we paid them 10k(~70% of the total) before they finished. Why? They were asking for payment even though it wasn't complete. For some reason I felt bad it was taking so long and I know he had to pay his guys, but that's not really a me problem. I was 9 months pregnant and about to give birth we kept telling them we really need them to finish up(please actually be here to finish and/or bring more than 1 guy). They were unable to finish and I was home with a newborn and toddler while they finished it up. As soon as they finished they wanted to do the walk through asap of course to get the final payment. They didn't have the time to wait for my husband to do it- again I had just gave birth. So, I had to do the walkthrough without my husband and paid him. After my haze though I realized how terrible of a job they did with the tile; leaving chips, grout unevenness and less than 2 years later grout is falling out of in some places. For some reason they used 2 pieces on the door frame despite us having lots of framing material laying around. When I reached out a few months later to request he fix the severe grout issue he sent 2 highschool looking kids with a tiny $5 looking tool from home depot they just bought and within a couple hours they were gone. It looks worse than before. He never followed up after that. They started August 7th and the walkthrough was Oct 4th. We still need to get it fixed by someone else.

The electrician said he wouldn't charge for the service since he didn't do anything and then I got charged $60. Originally I was told the charge would be for diagnostics and would go toward any additional work that was needed. But now they're charging that for no information and won't provide us with any follow up service and saying it's for travel. I understand the travel fee if some service is also provided or to get a quote for further work, however nothing else was provided and the manager was very rude and hung up on me.
