Last night after my daughter showered there was water all over her bedroom, the shore shares a wall with her room. My wife cleans up the mess and thankfully the leak doesn't return. I called Simi Valley Plumbing this morning around 10 am. The phone was answered quickly by an actual person, not an answering machine. Clearly they were busy, the phones were ringing off the hook. I state my problem and the guy I'm talking too tells me he will get ahold of one of his plumbers and give me a call back, in 10-15 minutes. At this point I'm thinking it's gonna 3 hours before he call back. I was so wrong, 10 minutes later the guy calls me and says a plumber is on his way. Ray shows up, finds the leak and tells me he has to go get the part. 20 minutes later Ray is back and the problem is fixed. What a great company, great customer service, quality plumbers, and the problem was fixed in a timely manner. I wish definitely use the again. read more

I had to have to 3/8 angle valve replaced for my new dishwasher. I called and was given an appointment right away. SVP was able to come out the next morning. Ray came to replace the piece. Unfortunately when he went to replace it had corroded and had to be replaced. The original was over 25 years old and plastic so it snapped off. He replaced it with a copper fitting and the valve now turns on and off easily for the dishwasher. Ray was great and explained what was going on and showed me all of what he was replacing and how the valve should have been working all along. I appreciated the lesson in plumbing. The price was reasonable compared to working with other plumbers. I highly recommend SVP and will call again for plumbing issues that arise. Ray was great to work with. read more

They came out once to diagnose the issue. I agreed to their estimate and they said they'd call me the next day to setup a time. Didn't hear from them the next day. So the following morning I was about to look elsewhere when, almost as if reading my mind. they called me and asked if they could come out that day. I said sure, and.... they never showed up! Just wasted days of my time. Never dealt with such a flaky business before. read more

I had a huge plumbing job that required replacing my main drain in the front of our house. Bob and his crew did a great job getting everything done properly and in a reasonable time. I have used them a couple times for minor clean outs as well. I strongly recommend them for any plumbing needs. Their price was cheaper than other plumbers that I have used in the past as well, but their quality is still top notch. All the employees that I have dealt with have been a pleasure to work with. read more

I originally liked Simi Valley Plumbing because Greg came out, diagnosed and fixed two different plumbing issues on two different occasions. But then I needed help with the water handle in my shower. He said he would have to order the part and he would get back to me but he didn't. My shower water handle was leaking inside the wall even worse than before he started. He left us hanging for several weeks without contacting us. It took me several times calling him to find out he couldn't get a part. I even called Robert the owner and he never got back to me. There disorganization and huge lack of communication in their business which is extremely unprofessional. I DO NOT recommend them. Another plumber came out and was able to fix my shower within a few hours and even got the part that Greg wasn't able to get. read more

I called to have our clogged drains snaked out and Greg responded. He was amazing! He had to dig up a large plant to get to our clean out drain and spent a long time finding our clog only to have to get on the roof to snake through the vent. He then replanted our plant. He was here quite a while and his fee was very reasonable. I highly recommend Simi Valley Plumbing! read more

Made one call, our issue got fixed within the hour that we called these guys. Good to see a familiar face too. The technician even remembered our issues from a previous visit a year or so ago. Seems my neighbor likes to share more than just their leaves to my treeless yard, I get their roots as well; how thoughtful. A very nice crew came out and took care of us, no muss no fuss! read more

Our toilet was backed up and we dont throw toilet paper in the toilet so it didnt make any sense. We called the Simi Valley Plumber and they send out someone i didnt catch his name he just said plumber, i leti let him in, he snaked the toilet or whatever and mustve left his tool on the counter and explained that, in so many words; our shits were too solid. When he left there was pieces of shit on the counter. What the hell is up with that? So we had to clean our own shit and get told we should shit better. Thanks for unclogging the toilet, maybe next time do your job and just shut your damn mouth. Oi vey read more

Awesome service. Had a main water pipe burst in the front lawn area. Neighbor referred me to Simi Valley Plumbing. Neighbor spoke highly about them so I gave them a try. High recommended! Quality work and very trustworthy. Even the person (young lady) that answered the phone was very nice. It's very hard nowadays to trust anyone. Thank you!!! read more

Very DISAPPOINTED in their customer service. We had them come out on 12/20 to unclog our drains..in less than a month, they started backing up again so we called to have them come back out and at least just look at them, they REFUSED saying it wasn't their problem and REFUSED to let me speak to owner, saying he was out of the country...yeah right. We have old pipes and we need to get them cleaned out once a year. In all my 10 years here, its NEVER only lasted a month. I will NEVER use them again and I will go back to using the plumber from the valley. Trying to keep my business in Simi. What a mistake. read more

Excellent same-day service from this local company! Called this morning, lovely fellow came round this afternoon and quickly identified the problem, which could have turned into a very serious issue if not corrected! Repair effected in the same visit at a very reasonable price. I'll certainly use these folks again if I need plumbing services! Oh, and my Security Team really liked him! read more

Moorpark Plumbing - a bathtub and toilet in a bathroom - Plumbing Near Me - Simi Valley, California

My kitchen sink was backing up. I decided to give this company a try. Called in the morning and got an appointment for the same day. Greg showed up with a mask on. He proceeded to unclog the kitchen drain. While testing to see if the water was draining properly, he noticed that there was a thumping sound whenever he turned on hot water. We were previously told by someone else that we needed to change out our faucet. He said it might be the shutoff valve, did something, and just like that, we can use hot water without the noise and the vibration. He could've just ignored it since it wasn't part of his job but he fixed it for us without even being asked to do so. Greg went above and beyond. I highly recommend this company! read more

Usually use Fisher Plumbing but they were sold to Adeedo. I said yes to Adeedo but they were not able to help me. The repair person said he did not have the right equipment to snake my main line. Really!! I then called Simi Valley Plumbing. Greg was there in the time frame they set, was very pleasant and friendly. He cleared my main line. I am now a customer of Simi Valley Plumbing. read more

Had an irrigation leak running into garage , Dispatch sent out a guy within an hour. Plumber Ray showed up from SVP and quickly and efficiently resolved the problem. What a great service, Highly recommend. read more

We had Simi Valley Plumbing install a gas line. The work and craftsmanship was great, and they even drywalled over their work when they were done, which was not something we had asked for or paid for. Very happy with the results. read more

Call someone else. They are unreliable. Jeff came to our home to replace our bathtub faucets and to check a leak. He charged us $160 but never checked our leak. That's only the beginning. He also replaced a pipe in our laundry room and was supposed to come back to complete the job. The guy totally flaked. We called more than 6 times to see what happened and left messages with multiple people and we still haven't heard back. This all happened in July and still haven't heard back. This is very disappointing when you're trying to support Simi Valley businesses. read more

Best Plumbing company ever! I see some negative reviews and I have to say, There's no way we dealt with the same company! Any time i have plumbing issues, they're always here on time, and as polite as can be. I would never suggest a bad company to my friends and family, and I always tell them to call Simi Valley Plumbing. The woman who works the office is also a pleasure to speak with! She's always so professional and bubbly! I would have to give them 5* they definitely deserve it! read more

I called last night to make an appointment to have a dishwasher installed. I was able to get an appointment for the next day. The next day, I received notice that my dishwasher delivery was going to be later than my scheduled appointment. My dishwasher was installed, the technician took away my box and old dishwasher and was very pleasant and personable. Overall, fantastic experience. read more

SV Plumbing came out to fix a kitchen water leak. Greg was great and worked is butt off. Find another Plumber... I came home Friday evening to find my hot water heater had blown out... yuck! I called Simi Valley Plumbing around 5:30PM. Bob answered and said that he would need to call me back at 9:30AM in the morning because the place he orders water heaters from is closed? okay? about 10 am no call so I called him. Bob said he would be out in an hour or so. again, no Bob... around 12 i called him and he said he was on his way. He showed up around 1 pm and looked at the water heater and quoted me $1200 for the job. He said he was going to pick up the water heater and had another stop to do to clear a line and then he would be back. Around 5 pm again no Bob. I tried calling him on his cell and service line and it said he had no voice mail. I sent him a text. again nothing. approximately 10 minutes later i get a call back from a blocked number and the lady said that Bob was sick, apparently got food poisoning? She stated that Bob was also not able to get anyone to answer the phone from his on call service? hmmm? she said I would have to wait until Monday for service? Really? i thought to my self, why am I the one that has to make all the calls? I will leave it to all of you if Bob was really sick? I cancelled my request and told them that I would call another plumber, the lady on the phone sounded disappointed in my choice? really? read more

Ok so I was sitting down posting on yelp when I hear this plunk, plunk, plunk. Really madding as I am trying to get into a review when this noise forces me up and track it down. no faucets left on. I look underneath the cabinet and low and behold there it is still drip, drip, dripping. I grab my trusty sauce pan and place it under the leak. Problem solved ... for now. The next day I had to empty the pan a couple of times. Now, I'm faced with getting a bigger pan or calling a plumber. I called Simi Valley Plumbing. They were fast, professional and easy on the pocketbook. If I ever need a plumber again these are the guys I"m calling. read more

Bob and team were great! They received all permits, cleared out pine tree root intrusion in our sewer line, had the city present and were in/out in a day. I called this company and someone came out for a tub backing up and he lifted my toilet out and went on my roof to apparently clean out the line which I do not believe was needed. He stated on my receipt that he pulled roots out and cleared the stoppage with cable and this is not true. He was still there when it continued to be backing up. The technician stated that the owner will be in contact with me on further recommendations. Well he arrived at my home without me being there and walked around my property and even opened my clean out and looked in there (totally inappropriate) without my permission. I even emailed the owner and he never responded. Also they were going to charge me for his visit and never informed me of this. I would believe that the technician should have been qualified to make me aware of what the next steps are instead of charging me for another visit. There visit was 1/9/2021 and this is how long I have given them to respond to me. read more

My home is 68 years old. As you can imagine it needs a lot of TLC and that's exactly what I get with Simi Valley Plumbing. Actually I would give them a ten star rating as they are not only the top of their profession in terms of work and quality but their more than honest and explain what needs to be done and why. They came to my rescue for one of my rentals at the last minute of the day to let me know that another company wasn't being quite honest with me. Simi Valley Plumbing fixed the issue at a fraction of the cost I was quoted by the other company. I would refer them to anyone (including my mother) that needs an honest and efficient plumbing company. Don't get confused this is Simi Valley Plumbing not the other guys. They will treat you like family for sure? Thank you all at Simi Valley Plumbing for the wonderful service for so many years. read more

Had two issues, a toilet that wasn't attached to the floor anymore and then our main line backed up. Called Simi Valley Plumbing and they got someone out the same day (I didn't ask for emergency response). While they didn't hit their original time window, surprise of surprise, they actually called me and let me know they were running late. I love proactive customer service. Highly recommended and will definitely be calling these guys again if necessary. Replacing the floors in the house to wood floors. While the installers were here they discovered wet concrete near the kitchen and then determined a possible pipe leak under the slab. Called Simi Valley Plumbing who had Ray out at the house 2 hours later. Leak detected. Ray returned the next morning with jack hammer in hand and made the repairs. While he was working on this the floor installers found an issue with the bathroom toilet leaking under the existing flooring. Ray found that the toilet flange was installed incorrectly and crooked. He left and returned with a new one and replaced it. We now feel secure with the plumbing and our wood floors. read more

Unbelievable job on re-route of line from kitchen and garage to main line. It almost seemed like magic, and the price was $4K less than one other bid I received. Very clean and neatly done with minimal disruption to our daily lives. The crew led by Roger was multitalented and did all the work from digging, concrete cutting, cement, stucco and stucco repair, piping and they did it in 3.5 days! As I said magic. By the fourth morning, we were running loads of laundry in the garage into a standpipe which previously did not exist. The water from the washer previously drained into the garage utility sink. Bob Perdum was attentive, honest, respectful and extremely well versed in the plumbing of homes in Simi Valley. If you have 60 year old galvanized pipe under your home, and need a re-route job, Simi Valley Plumbing on Los Angeles Ave. is the absolute right choice. My lawn is growing back perfectly also! The job was permitted and a very cursory inspection was all that was needed, because the Simi Valley inspector is obviously very familiar with quality work. Thank you! read more

Where do I start: I have used Simi Valley Plumbing for 25+ years. I wanted to use SV Plumbing for my rental property since my husand and I know the owner. May 2015, Saturday, our tenants reported the main-line clogged The price skyrocketed, but was expected. I asked for a discount. Who wouldn't? He provided 20% off. Not so bad. Two days later, another drain clogged, so I called SV Plumbing. This time a different tech. Upon snaking the washing machine drain, the snake went thru the pipe behind my dishwasher. $500 more. The pipe was apparently rusty and couldn't survive the drain snake. While he was there, we talked on the phone. I asked him to snake the clean-outs in the back of the house. The tech mistakenly snaked the main clean-out...AGAIN.... that the other tech just did two days before, plus another $115. My so-called "friend" was going to give me 10% off (tech confirmed). That never happened. The office girl mailed the inflated invoice after three weeks to....wait for it!!!....my husband's ex-wife's house. And under "HER" name. I called the office. Yes, I was really upset for the mishap. Who wouldn't be? The girl working there knew I was upset, but did nothing to help the situation. No apology, no kind words. She hung up on me. My husband and I both have the owner's cell phone number, we both called, I texted, with no call back, nothing. My husband called the office and was told on the phone that we would be given a discount of some type. NOPE, we received the full invoice to my new address. The office girl didn't even get my husband's name right. Such incompetency. Such rudeness. Such a bad plumbing company with the name of Simi Valley. Moral of this story: If you want a plumbing company that will treat you with respect. That will return your calls. That will honor discounts they promise you. DO NOT give your business to this place. read more
