If you need immediate help, they're highly responsive, and know what to do quickly. 6:30am Sunday morning we awake to the entryway, kitchen, dining room, and living room flooded with over an inch of water on the hardwood floors, living room carpet, and hot water continuing to stream out. All windows steamed over. The dishwasher hot water line had burst during the night. Thanks to our tankless water heater's "infinite hot water", 130 degree water was spraying on the inside of the under sink kitchen cabinet for 3-5 hours. After spending 10 minutes getting the water shut off, I started calling "24 Hour" water remediation services. I left messages for six services. Within 4 minutes of my call, Brandon from J.W. Home Care returned my call, asked for details of the issue, and said he'd be on the way with his Team and arrive in about an hour. Brandon and his team showed up as promised, they were thoughtful, and respectful. No sales pitch, just hard work to get our house cleaned up and taken care of. With a truck mounted high-power vacuum, worked for an hour to vacuum up all standing water, and as much as they could get out of the carpet. They moved furniture around and setup 22 industrial fans and three industrial dehumidifiers throughout the affected area (it's noisy, sounds like a jet's taking off in your house). Brandon explained the process, showed us the areas that had retained the highest moisture, and let us know it typically takes 4-6 days with the equipment running 24/7 to get everything as dry as possible. Once that's complete the extent of the damage can be accurately assessed. Brandon called frequently, came to the house every morning, surveyed, and documented where drying was occurring. At the end of the 6th day, all areas measured dry!! While there is some damage that needs repair, we can use the kitchen, mostly (probably not during repairs, but for now). It's a testament to Brandon and the J.W. Home Care Team, they arrived quickly, removed standing water efficiently, and got the drying process going immediately, which kept damage to a minimum. Never once was there a concern raised about payment, or the number of visits, or calls to us. We had a leak from a faulty dishwasher install through Lowes. Brandon from JW Home Care came out the day after I called to give me an estimate of the damages and abatement. He informed me I would need an asbestos and lead test of my drywall before anything could move forward. Turns out I have asbestos in my drywall. While this meant I couldn't use JW Home Care as I'd need an environmental abatement company for the job, they were helpful throughout the entire process and gave good advice. All this was done without asking for a dime. Seems like a stand up company and if my situation were different, I would not hesitate to use their services. I'm not looking back, they are on my permanent list of contractors for my home. Very satisfied and please with them. Jonathan and his crew are great guys and they do awesome work. -In early 2021 I had a shower pan go bad and cause a ton of water damage. They were here quickly, completed removal of damaged wood, drywall, flooring, etc. quickly. A few days of dehumidifiers and blower, antimicrobial on the wood wall studs and in less than two week the bathroom was ready for a separate company to start rebuild. -Things went so well in early 2021 that I called them again when I had a water pipe failure in late Dec 2021. I had a water leak from a water heater at a rental property and the plumbing company suggested a water remediation company. This company tried to pressure me to begin work to dry the room out (to begin at $1900) without a written estimate/detail of work or me having seen the area in question. I didn't feel comfortable with this and felt like I was being scammed so I yelped searched JW home care and they came out the next day. Jon came within the time window and was honest and reasonable. There was very minimal water damage and instead of trying to take advantage of situation/me by quoting some outrageous number he went through the area with me and pointed out each thing that needed to be addressed all of which we could do on our own. I felt bad that I had used up his time for such a small thing and offered to pay for his time and he refused. He let me know what it would cost to get dehumidifier/fans from him and that they'd be happy to assist but we could do/rent on our own for fraction of the cost. You don't come across honest businesses like this often. Some would say they missed out on money but Im hoping they gain 10 more customers from their honesty/this review. if I ever do get in a situation where in need this service I will def call them! read more

It seems that one of out very mature and housebroken dogs decided that if we wouldn't get up at 6:30 to let her out, the living room rug would be a good second choice to outside. We were oblivious for quite some time until we returned from vacation and noticed a very strong odor coming from the living room. JW Home Care came to our rescue, and since the living room was less than their minimum, did the hallway and our room as well. The young man that showed up on time was very polite, personable, and efficient. He did a great job cleaning the carpets and told us about their smell Guarantee. They would come back until the smell was gone. They did come back and were very gracious and apologetic and cleaned it again. Sadly, our dog has more power than any carpet cleaning company. We felt that JW had done their best, and were willing to return again. We decided that it was probably time to replace our carpets instead.
