Martin and his team (Chris & Omar) did an amazing job with the mold and water mitigation of our primary bathroom after a major water leak! Martin's communication was excellent, giving daily updates. He also worked with my home insurance company and didn't put me in the middle which I appreciated. The crew was on time, friendly, cleaned up after themselves and most importantly did a great job and we passed inspection! Thank you Emerald Isle Restoration! read more

I had Martin Ryan clean my carpets several times in the past. On day, I asked him to steam vac the seats of my 4 dining room chairs. A few weeks later, I pulled out one chair - and I saw that he shredded 8 areas on the chair. I don't use my dining room set. He also placed that chair to back up to the window in my dining room - to make sure I wouldn't see it for a while. I spoke to him on the phone - and, of course, he denied it. I no longer use him to vacuum my carpets. And - his prices were always increasing. read more

Great local company to work with, quality service and quick response. Thank you guys!

Our relationship with Martin, the owner and operator of Emerald Isle Restoration & Floor Care began in December of 2022. We had two slab leaks at our old house we retain as a rental. One leak of hot water in the dining room and the other was cold in the kitchen. The issue that prompted Martin's involvement was with the kitchen. Mold was growing on the drywall and under the cabinets from the moisture escaping from the cement slab. Martin and his crew has been great to work with. He is prompt and tackles the issue quickly. He has also been able to work well with the insurance company to move things along with them. This year we had called upon Martin to help with a shower leak at our newer house, which we elected to renovate the bathroom. He has other great skilled workers he can call in at reasonable prices and will work with you as necessary (for instance, we had specific stone and tile we wanted in the shower that we ordered for install). We have also had to revisit the older house for, yet another slab leak (a different section of pipe), and Martin was quickly available to assess the situation and bring his equipment and expertise. This time, we wanted to save the granite countertop that was just purchased in 2023, since we love the pattern. The original installer said it was impossible and wouldn't even attempt to save it. Martin was able to save it with a technique called shoring! Thank you!!! With another stroke of bad luck, we also had a flood from our laundry room (washer hose popped out of the drainpipe) at the newer house most recently (this week) and Martin was available again with his drying equipment to save the day. And I've since strapped the hose to the pipe so it doesn't happen again. I recommend that if you have water or even smoke damage that you give Martin a call. You will be happy you did. read more

Wow!! I don't believe that there are many people that would take on attempting to get asphalt off of a couch, but Martin and Chris did an AMAZING job. Our poor dog stepped in wet asphalt and got it on our couch. We thought we would need to buy a new one but Emerald Isle saved the day! This was the second time they saved our couch. If they can get asphalt off a couch then I don't think there is a job that they can't do! Also such wonderful people to work with and great customer service! read more

Martin finished our insane carpeting situation. Having lived in the same building himself, he was familiar with the layout already. He was really professional, kind and knowledgeable about flooring and finished our 2 bd/2bath in about an hour. Super honest pricing and was straight forward about certain areas possibly returning due to the color/ type of stains. It's been about a month now since he came by for service and only a few spots have popped up. Having getting ready for a new addition to our family, it was really important to have this done prior to her arrival. Regardless, I think Martin did a great job & I will be sure to recommend and seek him for future treatment for flooring, including tile! read more

We had a carpet cleaning emergency thanks to one of our dogs (I'll spare the details ). All we had heard was great things about Emerald Isle so figured they would be the best place to call. Well all the great reviews were correct! Martin did an amazing job. He arrived even earlier than he said he could, was so nice and polite, and got the job done perfectly!! I swear to you my carpet looks brand new again! I HIGHLY recommend them for any floor care needs! read more

Really great service - Martin and his assistant are extremely nice people and easy to work with. Martin responded to my original inquiry quickly, and was able to come out and get the job done quickly too. Even though it was a quick response, we were here while they were working and they worked very hard on our floors. Martin was honest in advance with me that everything might not come up due to the floors not being properly sealed before we owned the property. True enough, not every stain came out (they're old subway tiles from probably the 50's) but they looked so much better. Amazing. And in the more modern kitchen tile we have, I think he did get every stain out. That floor looks like new. Martin also had the chance to upsell me, he explained he could do one more service, but it would cost more, and he didn't think we'd get much benefit from it, so he didn't advise it. That really stood out for me, that he'd have a chance at making more money, but was honest about the benefit for us. They are also very careful in your house, protecting wall corners and cleaning up any kind of dirt or water tracked (not that there was much of that). I can't recommend enough! read more

Once again, Martin did not disappoint! We had 5 years of filth trapped on our porcelain tile floors and now it looks like a brand new floor! He was able to get us in quickly too and is very responsive to his customers. Thanks Martin for your excellent service and beautiful work! read more

What an excellent experience we had with Martin and his assistant! Even though our job was not huge, they treated us as valued clients. They were professional, timely, and so easy to work with. We were so impressed with the job they did on our rugs (the colors popped like new when they finished) and furniture that we have asked them back to do additional work. Thanks Martin!! read more

Martin was fantastic! Not only was he very flexible and understanding after having to reschedule last minute, he did an excellent job cleaning our filthy carpet. It was so bad it clogged his machine but the results have been great. Stains have disappeared and it looks so much better. I will definitely call him again when I need my carpets cleaned. read more

Called Emerald Isle because our dog had ripped up a patch of carpet in our office. After calling a couple carpet cleaning companies, I found out that most of them do not do carpet repair. Right off the bat, Martin let me know that he did carpet repairs and sounded confident that he could take care of it. I work long hours and he was able to work with me on setting an appointment. When he came by he gave me a very reasonable quote and was able to fix it quickly. I was amazed when I saw how good a job he did. You couldn't tell there was ever an issue. Great customer service and reliable. Already booked an appointment to get the carpets cleaned. I would highly recommend. read more

These guys are the real thing. Your not going to get coupon cleaning from Martin and his crew your going to get a professional cleaning of your carpet and or your tile that will blow all competitors out of the water. They know what their doing and they're going to do it right. Our carpet and tile were installed 11 years ago and today they both looked like they were installed yesterday. You can feel very comfortable having them in your home so don't hesitate to give them a call. read more

I am so happy with Martin at Emerald Isle Floor Care! Just had my carpets cleaned today and they look beautiful! This was the second time we have used Martin to clean our carpets and we will only use him in the future, he did an incredible job! Words not express how happy I am with Martin's service.... I have white sand carpet, only 1 yr old, and a 16 yr old cat that has had many accidents over the last year, recently she had lost control of her bodily functions and eliminated in numerous places on my carpets...I can home to this mess and pretty much cried, I thought new carpet was my only option...but my cat was still in the picture. I called Martin that afternoon, and he was at my house the next morning....my carpets look, and smell brand new, he was able to remove all of the soiling and waste and it was sanitized. I am eternally grateful, and will be using him for all my future flooring needs! Thank you Martin!!!! read more

Whoa! I have rental units. One of them had a seriously filthy carpet that I thought could never clean up. I decided to have Martin give it a try. Martin is awesome! Honest and a hard worker. My rental condo's carpets really need replacing however the owner hasn't got the money so they get really ugly pretty quickly but he got all the spots out and it looks really really good!
