Long awaited review. Communication is serious lacking. Jesse was really nice and understanding at first but his worth ethic is terrible. We were really patient and understanding because we get it he runs a business and we changed a few things here and there but it took 8-9 weeks to redo our very small bathroom. I can't remember the amount of times Jesse would say they would be here tomorrow and they wouldn't show up for a day even two with zero communication. We would have to reach out and ask when they're coming. Despite the communication and time it took to finish this project because again, they would skip days we paid them 10k(~70% of the total) before they finished. Why? They were asking for payment even though it wasn't complete. For some reason I felt bad it was taking so long and I know he had to pay his guys, but that's not really a me problem. I was 9 months pregnant and about to give birth we kept telling them we really need them to finish up(please actually be here to finish and/or bring more than 1 guy). They were unable to finish and I was home with a newborn and toddler while they finished it up. As soon as they finished they wanted to do the walk through asap of course to get the final payment. They didn't have the time to wait for my husband to do it- again I had just gave birth. So, I had to do the walkthrough without my husband and paid him. After my haze though I realized how terrible of a job they did with the tile; leaving chips, grout unevenness and less than 2 years later grout is falling out of in some places. For some reason they used 2 pieces on the door frame despite us having lots of framing material laying around. When I reached out a few months later to request he fix the severe grout issue he sent 2 highschool looking kids with a tiny $5 looking tool from home depot they just bought and within a couple hours they were gone. It looks worse than before. He never followed up after that. They started August 7th and the walkthrough was Oct 4th. We still need to get it fixed by someone else. read more

Jesse and his crew did a wonderful job in my kitchen. They demo'd the back wall to make room for an under counter washer and dryer hidden by pocket doors. This entailed adding a deeper countertop, replacing several cabinets, adding plumbing, 220 electrical and relocating an HVAC vent. We also added a full height pantry cabinet with pull out shelves, and upgraded the shelves on an existing pantry cabinet. The new cabinets, countertop and paint look great. They managed to save my marble backsplash and all upper cabinets, and the new countertop is a very close match to the existing marble countertop. My wood floors were well protected, the team was polite, tidy and on time. A couple cabinet doors needed adjustments following the walkthrough and they were fixed the next day. The end result looks like it has always been there - a seamless match. Communication was very good - Jesse promptly answered my questions via text and it was clear each week what would happen. I wanted the project finished by Thanksgiving and they were done by that Monday. read more

Just finished a complete remodel of my grandparents house that hadn't been touched in 60 years. New wood floors, paint and baseboards, closed off a wall to make a 3rd bedroom, and a ton more work. Jesse and his team are our family's go to for almost everything, from small stylized projects to large exterior and interior home construction. Years back, our parents first contracted them for an addition to their house and ever since then the rest of our family has continued to hire them, currently working on a project that requires knowledge of specific architectural styles, and artwork, specifically Spanish styled exterior porch tile and all the master work required to correctly prepare tiles, measure grout sizes and even color. Jesse and Bro's: A detail oriented, conscientious, yet flexible team; HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I have nothing by great things to say about Jesse and his team. I first met Jesse on facetime when he was kind enough to visit my home and give me an estimate of the remodel even without meeting me in person. He was prompt and enthusiastic and very flexible with his time. Throughout the remodel project he guided me to the exact vendors that I would find useful; taking me personally to the warehouse to select my tile/building rock veneers and bathroom accents. My entire kitchen had been destroyed by mold; Jesse's team was able to maintain the quartz kitchen counters in place and yet build custom kitchen cabinets for me that matched the rest of the kitchen beautifully. When there was a corner cabinet I didn't like he replaced the lazy susan with shelves without complaint. Jesse has a great taste in colors and building materials; he knew I wanted a country cottage feel and was careful to match the color palettes to bring this look through. My fireplaces had rusted to bits; after they were replaced, Jesse replaced he entire firebox surround and chimney with scaffolding strong enough to support the rock veneer that I had chosen. The final result of matching every tile by hand, sizing it and positioning it to make all the pieces fit, was a huge 1000-piece puzzle that he solved in days. The fireplace looks like a shrine in my home and is the focus of the whole house. The floor tiling was a work of genius. Due to the location of the house, wood floors would have developed termites, the synthetic floors would peel off due to moisture, and so that only option was tile that looked like natural wood. Now, even I cannot tell the difference after the installation. The installation is perfectly geometric, looks like the floor of a cathedral. Jesse's team is expert at drywall and stucco installation. When my plumber hooked up the wrong pipe to my outdoor tap (hot water for my roses!!) Jesse detected the error and reported it to me immediately. He re replaced the stucco that had only been completed a week ago to accommodate the plumber to revise the plumbing mistake. When I didn't want to replace my bathtub, I asked Jesse to refinish it and he did it promptly, even though that was not his original recommendation; I hope I don't regret my decision... My home inspector had given me an 84-page report that detailed every missing item that did not fit code. Jesse went back through every item and checked off every box that was missing; caulking, plugging sink surrounds, replacing broken screens, painting the eaves and installing gutters. He even changed the orientation of the downspouts to fit my specifications. His attention to detail, complete honesty in all his dealings especially in providing an up-front estimate that did not expand as the work went along, is a testament to his integrity and the pride, that he and his brothers take in their work. Jesse is not a middle man; he rolls up his sleeves and works along-side his team, that's why he can see their questions/problems before they arise. I have great respect for a leader who leads from the frontlines. Jesse was not afraid to tackle new areas of expertise; this was the first time he had done a chimney cap, he was not hesitant to ask for help. He worked well with my subcontractors and communicated freely. Throughout the remodel project I received regular email and text updates with pictures of the completed work. I still have to work on my ceiling and get the beams exposed. That is my next project with Jesse. Until next time; I highly recommend Jesse for all home improvements and remodels. Great value! We recently had our garage renovated, including installation of a tankless water heater, recessed lighting and finishing and painting the walls and ceiling, a new sliding glass door installed, a new poured concrete driveway to replace the asphalt and some electrical and plumbing work done by Jesse & Bro's Construction Inc. Their estimate was reasonable and accurate. All of the work was completed in a timely manner and the property was cleaned up afterwards. I had several problems that needed to be solved - painting walls of a stairway 20 feet high, replacing a bathroom floor, replacing the stand of a water heater and furnace that was basically destroyed by the water leak of the old water heater and the drywall and painting of an under stairs closet. First, I want to say Jesse was great to deal with. He responds quickly, gets a very detailed estimate out after coming to the home and going through what needs to be done. And then he is ready to start - not next month but in a couple of days and starts when he says they are going to start and gets everything finished in a very timely manner yet work done very diligently and carefully. J & B recently did a remodel on our patio. Jesse, the owner is a personable person with good communication skills and willing to address the issues we had. The contract that was signed did not include all the promises that were made during the process. Some of that was our fault, just assuming it would be done. That being said, make sure your contract covers all that is promised. Jesse showed integrity in resolving mistakes that were made. We were disappointed that he had sub-contractors working on our project and not his team. The sub-par work that they did delayed the finish of the project as some problems had to be redone. To correct the situation Jesse brought his team to finish the project. read more
