Finally found a nearby restaurant with real Maryland style crab cakes and dishes!! We had some wings, crab dip and soft pretzels for appetizers that were delicious and the crab cakes and stuffed shrimp will definitely have us coming back for more!! The views, atmosphere and service were all very good. The staff told us they recently had new owners and they came out to talk to us. Welcome to the neighborhood.... Please stay awhile!! read more

We came here for lunch and were greeted by the hostess up front immediately. It was nice out so we sat out at the high top tables. The view was great. Nice breeze as well. The mimosa is $9 a glass and $18 unlimited so I asked to do the unlimited even though my limit tend to be 2-3 glasses. However, no one ever came by to refill my first glass lol. So one glass it was. They do have Sunday brunch menu but I opted for the chicken panini and fries. Super tasty and fresh. It was also filling. We took half a sandwich to go. Great spot. Would definitely recommend. read more

The pizza was burnt. The server was very helpful and nice . She forgot my tea bag once. The clam chowder was delicious.

Gorgeous restaurant and pretty view to get a drink. Awful food, 4 plates ordered and no one finished their meal. I even told the server about how bad the fish tacos were, she apologized but nothing more. She was training someone though so maybe that's why a manager didn't come? I tried to choke one down because I was starving but I was honestly worried I would actually choke. My mother got the same item, she agreed. Philly cheesesteak flatbread was blaaaand. Calamari was fine, but extremely chewy. They were pretty dead for a beautiful Saturday so I'm guessing locals know better. read more

My wife and I went to Tidehouse for lunch by boat and it was outstanding! We decided to sit at the bar which has a beautiful Waterview of the St Lucie River and the marina. The bartender Jennifer was awesome! The drinks were on point, the food was great and the prices were reasonable. The service was great and the food came out in a timely manner. Jennifer even gave us a 10% discount for coming by boat which was an added, unexpected bonus! We will definitely be back! read more

Nice seafood restaurant by the waterfront. I recommend reserving the outside sections (covered or uncovered) for a romantic sunset dinner. I had the crispy (fried) grouper (fresh catch) and it was so good I wanted to order a second. I had no time because you want to leave time to join the tiki drink/dance boat that goes between two restaurants in the bay read more

I came in a couple weeks back while visiting some friends. It was a perfect day to eat outside and the weather had everyone in a good mood. One of the first things I noticed is that there isn't any parking or at least it feels that way. They do have a free valet, but I mean how aren't you going to tip? The valet can get slow when a lot of guests come. The service was another eh aspect of my visit. Our server was rather disinterested and slow. That is pretty much it for negatives though. There was live music outside which was nice. The cocktails were extra good. The old fashioned was particularly nice. We also ordered the Buffalo dip and it stood out as extra tasty. For a main, I ordered a fish Reuben and it was wonderful. The outdoor deck area is a great place to sit and they have outdoor fans. There is also a boat dock and our friends mentioned how you can take a local boat from there. While outside I saw some dolphins in the water! I did use the restroom and it was clean and well stocked. The food, drinks, and atmosphere are worth returning for. read more

When we arrived we came 30 minutes after opening and the vibe was already good and everyone was friendly. Our server Kara was so accommodating and helpful because we originally sat outside in the enclosed space but there was a baby shower so it quickly became loud and crowded. We asked to move to the outside space with the umbrellas and immediately we were greeted with live music and it really set the tone for a tropical paradise. Kara showed no sign of annoyance and allowed us to choose our seat which we greatly appreciated. The food is absolutely delicious!! (We forgot to take a picture of our calamari appetizer but it was good too). I know that everything we ordered was fail proof and we ordered soon after opening so take that into consideration. Our bill came out to $75 (not including tip) sooo a little pricey but the ambiance, Kara and the food quality made it worth it- plus money wasn't an issue for us as we were on vacation. read more

First time at the restaurant. Beautiful view. Food was good. I ordered a half order of ribs and it came out as a full order. Waitress said I bet your husband will eat some. Charged me for the full amount. Had I not been with a group of people, I would have said more. Very uncomfortable situation. read more

We made reservations for 8 because we were going to get there later, and they may be really busy on a Friday night. They weren't as busy as we thought, but they did sit us outside at the end away from the noise with a beautiful night time view of the marina. They had a Prix Fixe summer menu for $39, which had good food choices and a great value. The clam chawda was amazing! I liked it a little thicker and it was fresh. My grouper (fish of the day) reuben was yummy! The husband got the fish tacos, which were also delicious. If you LOVE cheese, the kids' pizza is the way to go. The Buffalo chicken dip was a huge portion with what seemed to be homemade chips - very good. Their fries are thin, fresh, and salty... better than McDonald's. Love the amount of outside seating they have and the inside dining was very nice. I am giving them 5 stars because Trenton took such good care of us. He was running back and forth for us and never missed a beat. A little on the pricery side, but portions were big. Would definitely visit again. read more

The restaurant has a nice ambiance on the water but that is only thing good about it. The food lacks flavor . My husband ordered the Hawaiian ribeye and it was tough, no flavor, and we are not sure why it was called Hawaiian because there was no hint of Hawaiian flare. My crab cake was decent but they got my order of shrimp wrong. It was supposed to be blackened and they brought me fried. By the time they corrected the order we were ready for the check. To top it off, they charged me for their error. It was removed from my bill. My night out with my husband was ruined by terrible food and lousy old fashion. Don't waste your money!! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. My friends and I came here expecting a good meal and a decent experience, but instead, we were met with blatant disrespect and poor customer service. Two of my friends, who are 21 years old and had completely valid, legal IDs, were denied service because the staff decided their IDs were fake--without any legitimate reason. Instead of handling the situation professionally (like, I don't know, scanning the ID or verifying it properly), they arrogantly dismissed her and refused to serve her. It's one thing to be cautious, but it's another to accuse a paying customer of fraud without proof and then refuse to listen. We even showed additional forms of identification, but they doubled down instead of admitting their mistake. If they're this careless about customer service, I can only imagine how they handle the rest of their business. Plenty of other restaurants know how to treat people with respect--this is NOT one of them. Safe to say we won't be back, and I'd suggest others spend their money somewhere that doesn't make false accusations and embarrass their customers read more

We went for lunch today . Ordered Clam Chowder, Lobster bisque, Caesar salad and Sesame tuna. Didn't think it was such a big order. Lobster bisque had 2 pieces of lobster in it. Well, it took over 80 minutes to get our food. I was ready to walk out. So disappointed in Tide House, have been dining there for years. I will take our business elsewhere. Went today,1st time. I had a chicken Caesar wrap; it was just as described; I asked for blackened but it was grilled and a scant amount of protein; next time would get the dressing on side ..too much dressing for my taste; lettuce was nice. Side was fries, nice amount, nice & crispy. Place was clean, beautiful marina view. Jesse was our server and she did a great job! Sadly no pics read more

5 star view. 4 star food but the prices are on the higher side. We stopped in for lunch and loved it. We ordered the chicken bacon ranch flatbread, Philly cheesesteak flatbread and Philly cheesesteak sandwich. I ate the cheesesteak sandwich and it was reallllly good. The cheese sauce they added was phenomenal. The fries were good, but cold. The other 2 flatbreads were a nice size, both people had leftovers. With 2 beers and an iced tea the total was $75. Any food on menu is going to cost you $15+. read more

Service was great! Order the salmon teriyaki bowl and I promise you will not be disappointed! Comfortable, casual fine dining.

So disappointing we frequently go to the Sunday brunch. Decided to go when we were in town upon our arrival the valet told us they no longer offer that since the new owners. So we decided to go back for lunch, after checking the hours on google. Again we are disappointed because now the hour have changed to 4-9 daily. Where do I begin. Mother's Day dinner. 1st I reserved a 5:30pm table for 6 for outside dining and was seated deep inside the restaurant at a corner. The hostess claimed when reservations were made the system chooses where guests are seated. I reserved by phone with a staff member a week ago. 2nd When we were seated we had 4 packs of silverware in which the waiter said they had run out of silverware and went to get more. No water, bread, zip. 3rd We requested Sweet Tea and Lemonades which tasted like dishwater. Every drink he replaced tasted worse and worse and he didn't even try to offer anything else. 4th Orders. No Mother's Day special Menu. We ordered the Calamari and Pretzel for appetizers which were ok. But then came the entrees. My son tried to order the Cajun Chicken Pasta - No pasta available tonight. He tried to order the Flatbread Pizza - No Flatbreads available tonight. He settled for the Tuna bowl which was ok. I ordered the Fish Tacos (Dry, flavorless piece of fish in a taco on top of cole slaw) with Fries. Fries - Not too bad. Hubby ordered Steak & Shrimp. He needed to add steak sauce to be able to eat it. Kids ordered Cheeseburgers with fries. Again - no seasoning/flavor. Sister ordered Beet salad with Salmon. I'm pretty sure by now you know what I'm going to say about it. I am an order a dessert after dinner person and skipped on it. Not good. For the money that we spent there it was 10000% not worth it. We would've eaten better at a Chilis or even Golden Corral and saved on money. We were EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED and will not be returning again. Sure the view is nice but so not worth it. My suggestion, take your money elsewhere. Good luck. read more

Great view, awesome wait staff, good food and drinks. Friday night special was our favorite prime rib.

Go for the view. Or the occasional music. Maybe drinks. Valet parking is always appreciated. Don't bother ordering any food. It's not good & they don't seem to care. Ordered a simple soup & after a few bites, the bartender apologized for the poor quality, comping my check without having to ask.. I had the pleasure of visiting Stuart/Jensen Beach today and enjoy lunch with some great friends. The restaurant is located on the water and has AMAZING VIEWS! We had the pleasure of trying various items on the menu. My friends really enjoyed the appetizers. I had the Memphis hot fish sandwich. It wasnt very appetizing to me. Our servers however, were by far some of the best I have had in a long time. JESSICA AND ROZ went above and beyond and really drove me to another star because of their amazing service. They were pleasant and Jessica was knowledgeable and paid attention to our large party as if we were a small table. I will DEFINITELY RETURN IF EVER IN THE AREA!!! read more

We have wanted to have some seafood while visiting my husbands parents. Should've checked menu but someone said well considering the name of the place it should be good seafood place well it wasn't. That's our fault. I called and asked if they are dog friendly - I was told no. What do I see when I walk in the place? A big dog laying at the inside bar. Not a service dog either. I love dogs and was just confused why rules have not been the same for me. Confusing but okay. Menu is pretty awful for a seafood place. Barely anything to chose from. Pretty plain choices like someone just threw together a bunch of random dishes. First we got drinks. Drinks were fine. Then we finally got to order food. No one at the table liked their food. My sons grilled cheese came as a huge piece of bread that a 4 yo somehow suppose to eat (he couldn't really bite it) .. not to mention sandwich and fries are cold and fries are stale .. then the waitress brought us water and said I saw he finished his lemonade so I brought him water because he DOESN'T NEED ALL THAT SUGAR. Imagine some random person tells you what your child needs to be eating and drinking? Yeah that's how I felt, but I just let it slide and went back to talking to my son. I felt that was rude and unacceptable of a waitress to say something like this, I used to work for the industry and find this horribly wrong. My husband said his flatbread as good, no one else liked it. Fish dip was pretty awful and chips are over oiled and impossible to bite - almost burned and tasted like cardboard. Fish tacos weren't even blackened as ordered. I personally had a clam chowder and it was okay but nothing phenomenal. Appears to me that Spicy edamame haven't even laid anywhere near spice rack . Absolutely plain boiled edamame with no flavor, was not what I ordered but we ate them slowly. I didn't even get a dish to put shells in so had to put shells in soup dish while eating (don't ask ). Halfway through the meal we finally asked for napkins as none were provided. So I'll say service can use some improvement And one more thing we noticed coming from the beer industry, the beer classes are cheaters - you don't get your pint of draft beer due to about 1-2 Oz of glass at the bottom of your beer glass. Pay attention. We took leftovers and gave them to fist homeless person we saw to make some use pot of it. Overall short review? I would never be back to this place. The only thing I liked about it was view and nice atmosphere created by the clients, birds and wind. read more

My husband and another couple tried Tidehouse last night. After reading earlier reviews about parking I was nervous, but when we arrived we had plenty of spots to pick from. We went in a Tuesday and our reservation was for 5:45. We would definitely go back! read more

We often pop in for a drink after a dinner date night since we live down the street. I'm always amazed at how bright it is inside. Is that necessary? Can the lights be dimmed? Who decided all the lights should be on high? Does anyone review the light bill? It would be a great place to hang out but it's too dang bright and I think we had our last visit. Three stars for a great view and good menu. The service was a little bit on the slacking side, but I think it's because our waiter was 20 years old, and really didn't care about being there. He was nice, but forgot napkins three times we asked, had no idea what the different vodka options were, and left our dirty plates on the table way after we were finished. On top of that, my mother and I just wanted a nice peaceful dinner on the water, and we ended up being sat right next to the trivia announcer, which was so loud that it was impossible to have a conversation. This place would not be first on my list next time I am in the area. However, our food was excellent. read more

It was a very cute spot, you could overlook the harbor and see two bridges. Ambiance was definitely lacking as it appears one of the employees put their phone into the stereo as it kept getting notifications and beeps. They also had to skip a few songs when they realized they would be curses in them, or maybe they just didn't like the songs. It was humorous. The bartender was surprisingly quick given the amount of people there. There are a bunch of kids running around which was not exactly the most fun, but it's not like the restaurant could do anything about that. We were on the deck outside and they were loving the view. But you could feel the vibrations every time they ran. The food was okay. The salad was overdressed. Bathrooms were okay also. Everyone was dressed in fishing gear, hats and tank tops and flip-flops. It was incredibly tasty food but I definitely feel like I overdressed. I'll absolutely go back. read more

My husband and I were looking for some place to go for a steak and I scrolled through Yelp and chose the Tide House restaurant. The menu was not extensive but we both found something that we wanted my husband had the clam chowder and a Philly cheese steak I had a New York strip with blue cheese and garlic mashed potatoes. Unfortunately, there were not a lot of tables occupied but it appeared that there was only one waitress and she was doing her best. The chowder was pretty good but we waited a very long time for our entrees. My husband's sandwich while the meat was good the roll was very cheap bread and the french fries were cold. I requested my steak medium rare and it was really on the medium well side barely pink inside. It wasn't terrible but for the $80 price tag that we paid I don't think we'll be going back. read more

We really enjoyed our experience here. I called 30 minutes before we wanted to come just to see how busy they were and the hostess reserved a spot for us to ensure we would get a table when we got there. I will say parking could be a bit difficult. We got lucky as someone was pulling out when we got there, but it's a small lot and not very big car friendly. The view is beautiful and our service was pretty good. My boyfriend got the shrimp Alfredo flatbread and I got the bacon chicken ranch flatbread and WOW were they delicious! So flavorful and a really good size, we both had leftovers. We also had clam chowder which was very good and fries (good but almost 6 dollars for a side). Overall we had a great experience and I can't wait to go back and try more things off of their menu! read more
