Came by as promised and everything was ready for pickup and they did a great job. The customer service is stellar and I always feel welcome. Had another trip & local event requiring formal suits to be dry cleaned and everything came out great. They do have some coupons online and via Yelp so do take advantage as the cost of dry cleaning has gone up for. I have some alterations that need to be done and they have a changing area so looking forward to my next trip.

Most of us don't bring donation-ready clothes to a dry cleaner, so it's upsetting to learn my dresses were donated after just 90 days. These weren't inexpensive; they were worth about $200 each. What made it worse is that I called at least five times trying to locate my dresses, and although staff promised to call me back, no one ever did. Eventually I was told they had already been donated. This was extremely disappointing, and I hope in the future more effort will be made to reach out to clients before taking such irreversible action.

I consistently drop off my bed comforter for cleaning, I am in a household with 2 young children (2 & 4) so you can imagine how much use it gets. Every time is perfect. I recently dropped off my wife's wedding dress and had it preserved. They did a fantastic job, they cleaned the dress, folded it perfectly and then went as far an storeing it in a box for preservation. I can comfortably say, the wedding dress will be ready for when my daughter gets married.

As a result we've been giving this dry cleaner our business for several years now and until recently they have always done a good job. Last month we had need of dry cleaning our comforter again; not because of our daughter's dog but because it had been a while since we'd had it done. We brought the comforter in as usual, noted the personnel behind the counter were now wearing company shirts, and prepaid for the work of dry cleaning our comforter. The receipt now says the dry cleaner is AVK Cleaners. Usually the work took 3-days, but this time it was going to be a few days longer due to Memorial Day. We were not in a hurry so that wasn't a problem. When we returned to pickup our comforter a day later than we were told to pick it up, the comforter was not ready; but was spread out on a table in the back. We waited while the comforter was collected up, placed on a hanger and wrapped in plastic dry cleaning bag. The next day we opened the bag up and placed the comforter on our bed, noting a slight musty aroma. That night, when we were trying to sleep, the musty aroma intensified into an overwhelming mildew funk. We had to strip the comforter from the bed and the next day returned it to AVK Cleaners for correction. They explained they had a problem with their equipment and would properly clean our comforter. That was on Wednesday 5/27 and the attendant said we could pick our cleaned comforter up after 5pm on Saturday 5/30. He printed a receipt saying as much and sent us on our way. We returned as instructed, Saturday 5/30 at 5pm only to find the place was locked up tight and had been since 3pm. We found this more annoying than the fact they had fouled our bedding. We returned the following Monday during regular business hours, retrieved the comforter and asked to speak with the manager. After showing him the ticket instructing us to pick up our goods after closing hours, he muttered something about not having control over what information his register printed on receipts, confirming his concern for wasting our time matched his concern for the work he had been paid in advance to complete. The comforter still stunk with the mildew funk AVK Cleaners had infused our bedding with. There was no offer of a refund so we effectively paid full retail for this negative review AVK Cleaners. We strongly encourage you avoid our experience. We did find another Dry Cleaner not too far away that was able to remove the stench of AVK Cleaners. We will balance our negative review of AVK Cleaners with a positive review of more reliable local competition in the next review.

It's because they have a drive thru! No, not lazy, it's because that's what I had gotten used to. Besides I really like drive thru service unless it's food related. I've always been pleased with them. My clothes are always ready when they say they will be ready and I've never had a problem with anything. In all fairness I have to admit I've never taken anything here that's stained or any dirtier than things get wearing them once or twice. The blonde lady is super nice and helpful and the others I just kill with kindness, it's about a 3 minute interaction so I deal with it. Good service at reasonable prices. But why do dry cleaners around here Never have a price list, brochure? That would be helpful.

Pulling up the pictures on their yelp matched and I thought it was really cute. Entering, it is a nice sized cleaners, bigger than the one I used in California (my whole life). It was clean and organized. I was greeted by a young man who was really nice. I informed him I was a new customer and he provided me with a 5% discount for being new. I had 28 pieces that I brought and the totals with the monthly special was around $99. I had jackets, shirt a, pants (which he notes the ones that had the belts with them) The clothes came back perfect! They are my go too even though they are on the other side of town.

LE truly went above and beyond for me…read more I was referred by Mariee's Bridal in Scottsdale to Suzanne's Sewing to have my wedding dress altered, and unfortunately it turned into a disaster. After my very first appointment, my dress went from fitting perfectly to not fitting at all, and with every subsequent appointment it only got worse. Two weeks before my wedding, I realized I had to take a chance and find someone else. I called Le and she knew even before seeing the dress, she immediately understood what was going on and agreed to see me at the end of her workday. When she finally saw the dress, she was shocked by the condition it was in. It had essentially been slapped together by Suzanne's Sewing. The dress had been stretched out and damaged from being repeatedly taken in and out, and mismatched material had even been added under the arm area and along the sides that looked nothing like the original fabric. LE worked on my dress every single day. During the first week I was in the shop every other day, and the week before the wedding I was there every evening. The night before we left for the wedding, I didn't leave her shop until 3 a.m. Despite the condition the dress was in, LE managed to completely transform it. She made sure it fit me perfectly and that the corrective alterations looked seamless. She even prepared a backup dress for me in case the original dress ripped during the reception because of the previous damage. LE is incredibly skilled and has a remarkable eye for detail. With formal gowns, every adjustment affects the entire structure of the dress. If someone doesn't fully understand how each change impacts the rest of the garment, the results can quickly spiral into bigger problems. LE clearly understands this craft at a very high level. If you are getting married or have a special event, this is absolutely the place you should go for alterations...DO NOT GO TO SUZANNE'S SEWING!

Went here to have some patches sewn on my leather vest. This was one of the only places in the area…read morethat I found that could do the work. It was about two weeks to have them sewn on and while they did ask me if it was ok to sew through the liner, they did sew through the liner and pockets rendering the inner left pocket unusable. I don't really use the pockets except maybe to put my phone in, but I would have thought that they wouldn't have done that. All in all I had 4 patches sewn on for $80. As you can see, one got sewn right through the inside pocket. I would have like to have been asked about that, but hindsight being 20/20, I guess if I need any more sewn, I'll let them know. This business seems to do a lot of alterations for wedding dresses, so I'm guessing not a lot of bikers are hitting them up to sew their cuts. Just be aware if that's something you need.

Really disappointing customer service experience…read more At 6:42 PM, I called ahead as a courtesy to ask whether I could still drop off clothes since I knew they were close to closing. The phone was picked up, I heard some fumbling and a "hold on" that was clearly directed at someone else in the shop, and then the call was ended within about three seconds. I never got a chance to say a word. Thinking it might have been an accident, I called right back. That call was declined immediately. I attempted a third call but canceled it myself, figuring there was no point. I understand the end of the day gets busy, but hanging up on a paying customer who is actively trying to be respectful of your time isn't acceptable. A simple "sorry, we're closing in a few minutes" would have gone a long way. Won't be returning.

Came here on afternoon Monday or Tuesday afternoon to wash all my sneakers because I only have a…read moretop loader . I was trying to use my debit card I. The machine at first so I was confused. Lol.. however they have a card machine where you get a laundry card and load with money using whatever debit or credit card. Tons of washers and dryers available of various sizes for residential and commercial size use. I was amazed. The place was clean, an attendant on duty. I was able to fill up my water bottles at the water store while my shoes were washing. Felt safe while there also considering some laundromat's tend to have shady characters hanging around in certain neighborhoods.Glad I found the place because i was worried about finding laundry in ahwatukee. It's only a few miles or so away so this is perfect.
