A solid choice for dinner, located just down the road from the Callaway Gardens Lodge entrance. Food was fresh, tasty, and served fast.

I'm here for a week and this is my second amazing lunch here (and I highly recommend their Build…read moreYo Poke restaurant, too). You literally can make limitless combos to have your salad exactly as you want. All dressings are made in-house, which is pretty impressive. You can order a rice bowl with ingredients, too. The portions are beyond generous (a small salad would be considered large elsewhere) and the array of ingredients and toppings is exceptional. On my first visit, I ordered a small spinach salad with grilled salmon. As toppings, I added chopped red onion, shredded carrot, pineapple, mandarin oranges, blueberries, chopped strawberries, chopped beet, blue cheese, sliced avocado, dried cranberries with their in house made raspberry vinaigrette. It was literally one of the most delicious salads I've ever had. I was so stuffed from the generous portion that I didn't need dinner. On my second visit, I got a veggie wrap with grilled chicken, chickpeas, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, shredded carrot, blue cheese, sliced avocado. I got the in-house buttermilk ranch dressing on the side (and ended up not using it-sandwich was amazing without it). I was asked if I wanted chicken warmed (I didn't) and I was amazed at the skill of the preparer who was able to tightly wrap the ginormous quantity of ingredients into the wrap and halve it. I only ate half my sandwich so I have lunch for tomorrow. Win-win. The black cherry tarragon soda was so good as was the Italian lemon soda. Their soups sounded great as did their desserts. The staff was so friendly and helpful. (Don't forget to tip!) The tvs on the walls show cool food art being made. I'd come here and their Poke place at least twice a week for lunch if I lived locally. Prices are extremely reasonable for quality and quality of food.

Every bite was packed with flavor, you can really tell they care about the quality of what they're serving. It's so hard to find great spots where I can sit outside with my furbabies, but they were so welcoming to my dogs. Plus, when the bill came, I was shocked at how low the price was for the amount and quality of food we got. Great vibes, delicious eats, and pet-friendly, we will definitely be back

Five Stars -- This Place Saved the Trip…read more Let me set the scene. We were heading to Callaway Gardens to pick up some Venice jewelry (I'll talk about that later), when I discovered that the Oyster House -- the seafood spot I was counting on -- was permanently closed according to Yelp. I was devastated. Like... fully prepared to cancel Pine Mountain altogether. I was having a whole moment. Then I did a little digging and found out that Eddie Mae's Kountry Kitchen & Oyster Bar had the same owner. I found this out before we arrived, and I knew immediately -- we HAD to stop there. And let me tell you... January 3, 2026 -- this is all I needed in my life. This is GOOD seafood. Like, really good seafood. Freshly cooked. Hot. Flavorful. Done right. The service? AMAZING. The people? Warm, genuine, country hospitality at its finest. The vibe? Real, welcoming, and comfortable -- no nonsense, just good food and good people. Food. Service. Atmosphere. People. Clean restaurant. Clean restrooms. Five stars across the board. I'll be honest -- I will never come to Pine Mountain again unless I know Eddie Mae's is open. I need y'all to hang in there with me because otherwise I can't even travel outside of Atlanta for real. If you want legit seafood, incredible service, and that authentic country goodness -- this is the place.

Wrangling twenty hungry folks is no small feat, but our waitress handled us like a maestro conducting a seafood symphony. Not one single mess up. Not one forgotten order. Just pure joy, laughter, and the kind of energy that makes you swear her heart runs on sweet tea and Sunday kindness. She didn't just serve us, she took care of us. Her laughter kept us laughing, her smile kept us smiling, and her love for what she does poured out like sweet tea on a hot day. The world needs more people like her, because she reminded us that service can be more than just food, it can be a refreshing, soul filling experience. And the food? Absolutely amazing. Not only did we have seafood, but some of us went for the buffet, the kiddos got their grilled cheese, and the burgers were downright delicious. Plates of goodness that made us forget all about yesterday's turkey coma. To top it off, they had my favorite wine (hallelujah!) and beers for everyone else, which meant the whole table was happy. Eddie Mae's gave us more than lunch, it gave us a memory. A funny, touching, belly filling memory that we'll be talking about for years. Five stars, no hesitation.

They said it would be a fifteen minute wait for my meal, and I asked for a cocktail menu. They said they don't serve cocktails. They did not ask me if I wanted a water. Sea bass is supposed to be delicate, juicy and tender with a bounce back when you poke it. It is crispy on the outside and tender in the middle. I order it every time I go to bonefish grill, and that's what I expected when I came here. It was grossly disappointing. I honestly don't even think that fish they gave me was sea bass. It was much too thin. It was soaked in an overwhelming amount of lemon. The mashed potatoes and greens tasted like lemon. It was like my entire meal had been marinated in lemon juice all day. Yuck. There was no sweetness at all. It was just bitter like strsight lemon. This "meal" cost me $42. I was back at my hotel before I realized how bad it was.
