My vehicle stayed in their shop for 4 days, and after the inspection they told me that my driver-side lower control arm was broken and that the thermostat needed replacement. They charged me $3,600, but never provided any proof, photos, or explanation showing that the arm was actually broken. They also refused to give me the parts invoice, never showed the cost of the parts they used, and provided no breakdown at all. They charged me $2,200 just for labor, yet this job normally takes around 3 hours, not multiple days. When I asked for labor rate, time, or details, they didn't provide anything. The whole process felt unprofessional, unclear, and extremely overpriced. The worst part is that after I picked up my car, it had even bigger problems than before. The vehicle started having new issues immediately, and now I have to take it to another certified Mercedes mechanic to fix whatever was done to it. I honestly have no idea what they did to my car, but the quality of work seems extremely poor. I am very disappointed and strongly warn anyone with a high-end vehicle: do not trust this shop with your car. They provided no transparency, no proof, no proper documentation, overcharged for labor, and returned my car in worse condition than it arrived.

Took a newly purchased (used car) in for an inspection and to fix a couple known issues…read more They did not preform an inspection at all, but still charged for it. When emailed asking why there was no inspection report given with the receipt they sent an incomplete, still in progress while my car is at home and verifiably false report. Did not check the CV at all that area is left blank, lied about the cabin air filter being good and about the brake pad life, did not mention anything about a gouge in one tire sidewall or the AC not working. I am not a mechanic so who knows what else. Driver side wheel well trim was busted and they attempted to blame the towing company, zero chance it was them, zero accountability. They also charged 5% 'shop supplies' which amounted to almost 80$, but they wiped grease on the trim of my car so im not sure what 'supplies' were consumed changing my struts(parts were seperate), certainly not shop towels at a minimum. When asked for a list of 'supplies' they needed, they did not provide it and instead claim all shops charge this. Sinclair auto did not charge it just a couple years ago. 5% hidden fee essentially. Charged nearly 10$ for 2 new lug nuts, not a single one was brand new upon receiving my car. I dont mind a used nut but if youre charging near 5$(per!) it better be brand new as claimed. And to top it all off not even one week later the check engine has come on, I wanted peace of mind with an inspection and they lied about checking the vehicle, infact not a single issue was found besides the ones I told them were already known. The only good thing to be said was the work was prompt, completed the day after drop off. That will not be enough to make me return. Used to be a great shop, never had a problem for many years and even recommended Sinclair auto to a lot of friends and family, the new owner is not living up to the name. I will not be returning, will be telling everyone I can about my experience and recommending against this shop.

They looked over the van but didn't bother with the full inspection because it was in such poor shape that it would not pass any out of province inspection unless 8k of work was completed. They also did NOT charge be for this service! They saved me 1000's of dollars in repairs after the seller assured me the van was running great, no problems and would be good to drive across Canada. The take away here... 1.Never Buy a vehicle without having it inspected 1st. 2.Never trust the seller, people can not be trusted nowadays! :(

I dont know if they even did the work i paid for. I took it to another mechanic who is Caucasian and he told me it wasn't getting compression as the valves weren't opening fully and there is build up of carbon in the engine. He didnt even charge me for a diagnostic. Which took him a few hours to complete. I will never go to Deans again. I paid hard earned money and still got screwed over.

I called Technical, describing known problems and explaining that I didn't want to spend much to fix this truck up. I said that I was prepared to junk the truck if repair costs ran too high. They convinced me to take it in for a look. After 3-4 hours they called back telling me the cause of each issue I described. In many cases the fix was much less significant than I expected. Initially fearing a repair estimate of over $2000 or $3000, I was shocked when told the estimate was $515! It was ready for pickup a short time later, and in better repair than it had ever been since I bought the truck. Thank you, Technical. Excellent job diagnosing all the issues; performing cost-effective repairs; and not trying to run up the bill in any way. Well done! I'll be back next time a vehicle needs work.
