I had a friend who was working at caliber many years ago who recommended them to me. My friend has long since moved on but my cars have not. Every vehicle I have owned since has been serviced by them. I have had brand new cars and they serviced them under the warranty. I have had old vehicles that they have brought back to life for a reasonable cost. The most important thing with a mechanic is how trustworthy they are. I have never second guessed Mike and his team on any work they have recommended be done on my vehicles because they explain to you why something needs to be done. Never any extra costs added on. They value customer loyalty above and beyond making a quick buck. My Mom who lives in BC still will only have her vehicles serviced by them after I recommended them to her. They are amazing to deal with and they don't force any un-needed repairs on you. The work they do is very fairly priced. I've visited now on 3 occasions. Caliber Automotive staff are honest and will not try to rip you off. I had work recommended on my car with quotes from my dealership that would have cost me over 3 grand! I took the quotes to Caliber and they looked at my car and told me a lot of the stuff that was recommended I didn't need! In the end the work that I did need cost much much less at Caliber and I paid less than half what the dealership recommended. After dropping my car off at Caliber for the day I came back to a car that drives and feels like its brand new! The best service you will ever receive! My Jeep broke down out of the blue mid day. I called Mike, he said have AMA tow it here. When i got to the shop, he had a loaner vehicle already running getting warmed up for me. AMA got my Jeep there the next morning, i was called regarding the issues within a few hours. The price quoted was fair and he walked me through the issues so i could understand what repair they wanted to do. I trust them completely. Our son recommended we take our vehicle to Mike Bealer to have work done instead of taking it to the dealership. That was maybe 8 or 10 yrs ago when we began using Caliber Automotive. They are not only FAIR and HONEST but they are also FRIENDLY folks who don't mind if you are there to wait, in which coffee is provided. I have had some bad luck with vehicles and several bad or "so so" experiences at other automotive shops. I was referred to Caliber Automotive last year and the service has been phenomenal. They are always fair and honest and the level of service is above and beyond. I recently had a fuel pump go in my vehicle and was more than willing to pay to have it replaced but they informed me that the fuel pump was still under warranty, fixed it in a timely manner and sent me away with no charge. They did an initial check and based on the cars running capacity (or lack of) they gave me a quote based on a new clutch and transmission, when they actually did the repairs all I needed was a clutch.
