She also asks periodically if I like what I see and if there's anything wrong to tell her. I'm a quiet person and I don't usually talk during appointments and Emily didn't pressure me into having a conversation with her. The place is clean and very organized. Everyone is friendly and I can tell that the other customers are regulars. Highly recommend this place and booking with Emily!!!

The other one, when you go to their website, it tells you to message them to book an appointment. So i did that and never received a response. Turns out that was for the best though. Next on the list to try was Virgo. They have a great online booking system. Although, I messed up somehow and instead of booking 3 of us for services at the same time, the system thought I was booking myself for 3 services back to back. Once I realized the error I called the salon and they fixed it for me right away. 2 of us got shellac manicures and my boyfriend got a pedicure. We were all really happy with our services. My manicure was done by Emily and she was wonderfully thorough. I also loved how encouraging she was. I was bummed because my nails are short and brittle and she just kept reassuring me that we can get them healthier. She was also very patient with me when I changed my mind on the colour I wanted. I'm already excited to go part!

I chose the regular polish pedicure and the girl who did them, did them fine but during the end she didn't even help to dry them out. Usually in my experience with regular pedicures, they let your feet dry with an electric fan or spray the fast drying spray, and check up on you as it's drying. She finished painting them and told me to just sit and wait for it to dry, should be good in 10-15 min. She never once checked up on me since, even as I was leaving. I waited and then after 15-20min I put my shoes back on and headed to go pay, while at the checkout I looked at my toes again and they were ruined. I asked the receptionist if someone could fix it and she said i would have to wait 30-45 min till someone could re do them. Long story short they fixed it and finally dried it with an electric fan, and the second lady who did it, was a lot more considerate when it came to making sure my toes were all dry before I left. This could have all been avoided if the first lady did this to begin with. What should have been an hour and a half experience turned to almost 3 hours. Also I asked the first lady who did my pedicure if there was time to get a manicure today as well. She told me to ask reception cause she only knows her schedule. She never even bothered to inquiry for me, or help me out to see if there was any room for the service. Overall it wasn't the best birthday pedicure experience. I'm very thankful my boyfriend booked this for me but I was unhappy with how the experience turned out. ***Update: Shay the lady who did my pedicure who I referred to on my review called me today upon coming across my review, and sincerely apologized for what happened and was more than eager to make my experience better by offering me to come back and redoing the experience. I never write bad reviews in purpose to get free things out of people but to simply talk about an unpleasant experience in hopes the business can learn from it and never even thought they would reply or reach out to me. Just the fact that they called me back right away to apologize made me feel valued as a customer and feel more than just a dollar sign to them. I appreciate businesses like this and I look forward to coming back and having a better experience. Customer service is very important to me when it's comes to a business and just them calling back to apologize is enough for me to review them with 5 stars.

Sure, it can be hit or miss if the pedicure is thorough but it's a quickie in a strip mall. They do take reservations/appointments but I find that I still have to wait sometimes. P.S. There is pretty decent Vietnamese next door (I highly recommend the calamari made extra spicy)
