They listen to what I want, and do what I want not what they think will look better.. And 2.) Not be scissor happy! Well.. This little hair salon is a hidden gem! I refuse to go anywhere else! Every hair colour and cut always turns out better then what I had in mind to start with! It is very small, hidden beside the Athlone Liquor Store and right beside Dino daycare. Her and her husband run the place and are so friendly. My hair is almost passed my bottom so getting colour is very expensive for me. She charges me 150$ for my whole head, I've also paid 80$ for streaks which is so cheap for my length! I've started bringing my son here and him and hubby both get haircuts ( 10$ for my son 17$ for hubby) they have treats for the kids to keep them still. My son throws a fit when he DOESN'T get to have his haircut when we go! The only downside is I wish they would hire more staff! She does the cuts, styles & colours between everyone that comes in ( walk-ins or appt) and her husband does the washes, till, phone, and janitorial work. So you hair more than likely will take longer than expected! .. But what's a little longer wait time if your hair comes out fabulous? Definitely recommend this place!

When I told her she put the polish on too thick because it was creating a folding look on my nails she disagreed, smiled and continued. When I was waiting for my nails to dry they rushed me out before the place even closed and were all at the door waiting for me to go with there coats on. Super un-comfortable!

However, while I was there a girl came in saying that she had eyelash extensions done the other day and it was the most painful thing she had ever experienced. She said she went to the doctor because of an eye infection and found out that they also scratched her eye. All this girl wanted was a refund for the service. The manager was very rude and unprofessional when dealing with the situation. She kept telling the girl to come back the next day, to just give her a gift certificate, or to take the lashes off. The girl refused, said she didn't want anyone touching her eye after getting the infection (to be honest I wouldn't either) and just wanted a refund. After a while the manager just started ignoring her and continued working on someone else's nails. I felt so bad, this was so unprofessional. I don't think I'll be back after seeing this.

I got my hair coloured and then one person is washing my hair, another is drying, and another starts styling my hair. I'm thinking "okay this is a trust the process sort of deal I guess".. nope. This person who styled my hair had thought I already had my hair cut. They were quite upset when they told me I was done but I corrected and said I hadn't even had it cut yet. So I was sent back to the sink so they can wet my hair again but they pulled my hair so badly that I nearly cried... what was the point of that?! Shadified need's to be more organized. One hair dresser per customer and they see them through the whole process. It's an absolute madhouse in there. AND my hair looks HORRIBLE. Looks NOTHING like my reference photo. The colour is nice and thats IT. I have naturally curly hair and my reference photo was natural curl.. my hair is HARD AS A ROCK and STRAIGHT. I will never go back there. Nor will I ever recommend this place. This was my first time getting my hair dyed. What a horrible experience. BAD VIBE.

I came in with zero expectations and walked out with one of the best haircuts I have gotten in my life and I literally sat down and said, what do you think looks good and he gave awesome recommendations and made sure I was happy with it. Definitely will come again for a haircut!
