Renata and her team have created the kind of place where you immediately feel comfortable. They remember you, they take their time with you, and somehow make something that could feel awkward feel completely normal and easy. What keeps me coming back is that it never feels transactional. You're not rushed in and out like some commercial chain places. It feels personal, clean, professional, and genuinely welcoming every single time. And after calling around Orlando comparing prices, I realized their pricing is actually BETTER than many of the big-name wax places while still giving a much more personalized experience. My husband and I booked a couples massage here, and while the massage itself was perfectly fine, I…read morerealized this style of spa just isn't for me. I've been fortunate enough to visit a few destination and resort spas over the years, so I've come to associate a massage with the entire experience--the atmosphere, the amenities, the sense of escaping for a couple of hours. Essentials is much more of a straightforward wellness clinic than a luxury spa, and that's something I wish I had better understood before booking. The space is clean and the staff were professional, but the environment felt more functional than relaxing. For me, it didn't create that "leave the world behind" feeling that I'm looking for when I spend money on a self-care day. If your priority is simply getting a massage from a convenient neighborhood location, this may be a good fit. If you're hoping for a more indulgent, high-end spa experience with an upscale ambiance, you may want to look elsewhere. Neither approach is wrong, it just depends on what kind of experience you're after.

They have a fantastic "wax pass" deal where now I don't even have to think about the cost, I make payments and just have to schedule my appointment every 4 weeks. I was referred to Chelsea for full leg & Brazilian. She was AMAZING! Super informative, really sweet and chatty the whole time (which I love so my mind wasn't focused on the pain) and she was very honest. I had shaved less than 2 weeks prior and she was like, I actually think we should reschedule! I said no let's do it anyways, and although some hairs were too small to pull, she did a fantastic job taking care of the areas and they were 95% complete pretty much! I'm excited to be a frequent customer now. The manager at the front desk was phenomenal too. She put together a whole plan for me and broke it down. None of the staff was super pushy or sales focused which I was happy about. Chelsea recommended products to help my concerns and the products they sell are really affordable and not outrageously priced. I love that she gave me a couple of options depending on how much I wanted to spend. Thank you European Wax Center!
