Great service and fantastic food. We went here for breakfast and were completely satisfied with everything. Our waiter Brian was very pleasant and always made sure our coffee cups were full. We had that day's specialty coffee and it was delicious. I ordered the corn beef hash and my husband had the breakfast sandwich. Both were full of flavor. You won't be disappointed, this is a great little place in Quincy. read more

Amazing food and great service. If you want to support a truly local business, eat here. Randy stocker

My wife and I come here for breakfast on Saturdays. They always make her eggs exactly how she wants them. The pancakes with fruit and apple cider syrup are great. They have the best bacon I have ever eaten anywhere. Friendly staff. read more

Very tasty, fresh ingredients! Definitely worth a try for delicious farm fresh food

I need to find a reason to go back to Quincy! What an incredible breakfast. My husband had the Corned Beef Hash with poached eggs and I was green with envy until I took a bite of my Charcuterie Omelet. The bacon, ham and sausage is all house made and delicious. When I saw the bacon served on a plate I wished I had ordered a side of that, but didn't want to appear a glutton. You will die for the potatoes and house made English muffins! Oh! Let's not forget the apple spread. Great staff and a very fresh, clean environment! I will be back. I need to try lunch at Thyme Square Cafe! read more

I've tried many items on their menu and have never been disappointed. I'm especially invested in eating here due to their practice of shopping locally first. We need more businesses that support each other. read more

Goodness, too many great things to say. Just trust the locals and visit this place. Everything is FRESH - even make their own ketchup. I would much rather spend my money on impressive tasty fresh food. Their little space is perfect, atmosphere is ideal - exciteddd to see what they do with their new location in Talaynas old building. Perfect spot for meeting friends for an enjoyable meal. Try everything!!! read more

amazing! one of the best breakfasts you can get in quincy illinois! such a special and nice environment to dine in! would highly recommend!

This place is perfect! The food is outstanding, fresh and real--not prepackaged junk.

Visited again and it was busy. Service was solid and friendly as usual. Food was good but we saw a change in the quality. Potato tots were over cooked badly and the toast was not buttered and hard. 40 dollars w tip for two breakfast given the above mentioned issues seems steep. We will go again and hope for a couple fixes to get back on the 4/5 stars. read more

Best breakfast in America. Seriously. Home made English muffins, house made ketchup, house made sausage, house made hot sauce; house made everything. read more

Great food, service, and atmosphere. The burger was huge. The grilled asparagus was done to perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant. read more

Save your money. I'm done giving this place chances. There are only two pluses I can think of. The ladies that work there are very friendly. There is a nice view of Washington Park. If it weren't for location, this place would be out of business. Farm fresh, what does that mean. The food is loaded with grease. Everything is served with way too much bread. Not the place if you're eating healthy and please don't be convinced otherwise. The other thing that has happened is running out of ingrediants. How can that happen when there's only six things on the menu. My revue; The corned beef hash is as dry as paper. The eggs are way over done. I can believe Cari's story. I've personally watched no less than seven people turned away from the please wait to be seated sign. Not that this effects the food, I've just seen it happen. Good Day America read more

Truly wonderful food! The pulled pork was the best I've ever had. They put a lot of thought and effort into every dish.

Best restaurant in town with the freshest food. They support local farmers and every dish is a masterpiece thoughtfully hand crafted. If you happen to drop in while bread pudding is on the menu, don't skip dessert! It's nothing short of divine! read more

This is the best food Quincy has available. Everywhere else is typical comfort food. Here though, it's up to par with the food I grew up eating in San Francisco. Top notch!! read more

The grilled portobello sandwich was super flavorful and the chips were extra light and crispy and topped with shaved parmesan. Everything is made in house, and they seem committed to quality. Recommended. read more

Had the Crispy Fish (cod) with mixed greens and grilled green beans lunch today. It was wonderful! The food was hot, cooked perfectly, and fresh. The cod was crispy and hot with delicious tarter sauce (not the sweet kind). The green beans were finished with a balsamic vinaigrette and a little parmesan, the perfect compliment to the fish. There was a delicious little house-made pickle. It's way better than any chain store as the food is clearly fresh and house-made, rather than frozen, thawed then cooked. They make their meals and it shows. read more

Best place to eat breakfast anywhere. The French toast, House cured bacon, fresh squeezed Mango orange juice, etc, is THE best

The best place in the state to eat everything made fresh in house even the bacon wow must try the hollandaise sauce its to die for you can really tell there's a true love for food in the air read more

Love this restaurant! We come to Quincy from SE Missouri just to enjoy their wonderful breakfast!!!

I dined there today for the first time - what a great surprise. The service was great - friendly, professional and full of great recommendations. I had the pastrami sandwich and bacon potato salad - both fantastic! I can't wait to go back. read more

Food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was nice! Best dining experience I have had I Quincy so far!!

Was looking forward to eating here but they are closed and in process of moving to a bigger location.... Star rating has nothing to do w review. Just didn't wanna bash em for expanding. read more

By far the best restaurant for all house made food, even the condiments. I have eaten everything on the menus and never been disappointed. Nothing leaves the kitchen that isn't cooked to perfection. Truly shows pride in the craft and product! Sorry to see Bryan leave, but the staff is always on top of their game and service has always been wonderful. You will definitely enjoy the best lunch place in Quincy. read more

Arrived at lunch and was greeted right away. There were only 3 tables seated. It was 12:30 on a Thursday. I can see now why. We were directed to sit wherever we wanted. The waitress came with our menus. We asked for peach tea and it took 5+ minutes to get. Although there were only 3 tables, she was the only one working the front of the house. I had visited twice before in the past and I enjoyed it. I am from out of town and I had my mom with me this visit. I asked about a previous item I had and was quickly shut down that they don't offer that any longer. Being a vegetarian, there was not much to choose from. Although the food was ok, the service was not good. She never came to ask how everything was and barely refilled our drinks. In fact, I saw a lady from one of the tables go up to the bar area to ask for a refill. A couple more tables arrived and I watched the same kind of service happening with them. We were never asked how everything was or if we wanted dessert. The check was just dropped at the table. My tip reflected the service and I definitely will not return. I Would not recommend this place. It could have been a bad day, but I will not give a second chance after this visit. read more

This place is a must go to when in Quincy. I have just had the most amazing version of a mushroom burger ever in my life. Hand ground beef, cooked perfectly, topped with wine sauteed onions and melted Gruyère cheese. This paired with their homemade potato chips was a terrific lunch. Had a lemon basil panna cotta with blueberry could and crushed pistachios. Stunning. read more

I really liked this place when it opened. Last visit (which had been over a year since previous) was a let down. I found it odd that a place that has a seasonal niche had the same menu as the last time I visited. They didn't seem to have much on the menu that was in season. Their soup of the day was tomato. We have zoup with 10 gourmet soups in town and boring tomato soup is what their offering? I don't know if it was the people sitting near me or the restaurant in general but it smelled like smoke. read more

This is one of the best restaurants in Quincy. Everything is made fresh from locally sourced ingredients, and is delicious. If you're downtown looking for a reasonably priced lunch, I could not suggest a better place than Thyme Square. read more

The corned beef hash with poached eggs couldn't have been tastier. It's my favorite breakfast dish in Quincy now!

We are foodies used to chef prepared food. Our lunch at Thyme Square was quite exceptional. The herbed pork sandwich had embellishments I would never have expected and their combination was a perfect blend. I would go out of my way to eat there again. read more

Food here is absolutely unreal. Local fresh ingredients used to make great meals. One of the best burgers I've ever had. We got the spicy bacon burger which came with either parmesean chips or bacon potato salad. I got mine with the chips. The burger was phenomenal. We also got pulled rib sliders which were amazing, as was the potato salad that we chose for our side. Their ketchup was homemade and really good as well. Everything was great across the board. Definitely coming back. Next time trying their organic tea and soup. read more

Updated since their move- still the freshest food in town. They really put a lot of thought and care into their preparations, even serving house made jams and dressings. With new location they can probably serve 4 times as many, but the food and service haven't suffered a bit. read more

Great sandwiches Good hot coffee. The service was excellent. Will definitely come back and try the wild salmon.

They say online ordering on yelp. Not happening. Then they can't answer phone. Worst place ever! Don't waste your time.

Went here for breakfast because of Yelp. So happy I did. Best breakfast ever. I am allergic to eggs and it is so hard to find a place that makes the non egg items from scratch and keeping quality a priority. I had the biscuits and gravy and the potatoes, I had to leave Texas to find a breakfast place that makes fresh gravy from scratch and not a powdered mix. Cannot wait to go back next year when I am up that way. read more

I had a very nice lunch here. The menu is creative and all fresh and homemade. Great value and lots of healthy options.

Highly recommend their monthly Farmers Dinners! And of course the lunches, take outs, etc. Just sign up for their monthly newsletter - you can do that using YELP - to learn about locally sourced farm fresh food and what will be served at these dinners. Make your reservations quickly! Their newsletter delves into the what's and why's of farm fresh foods. The topics can be real 'eye openers' and actually tasting the locally grown foods can be enough to cause anyone to change their own food shopping and eating habits.
