She dropped the change back in my hand like my hand was diseased. She did not say thank you or "have a good day", the normal, simple, easy yet soothing platitudes one shares in their position. I'm not sure if she is perpetually moody, miffed I did not tip, or just irritated by my incompetence. But either, this is disheartening, disappointing and unprofessional. The walnut pesto and balsamic glaze gave the dish a zesty zing, but it was balanced nicely by the avocado and expertly poached egg. Self-service ordering, via an ordering platform that takes substantially more time to figure out than had they taken our order themselves. (We ordered two things last week (which we've ordered often, for years) and the staff needed to help us with both, which they acknowledged was confusing on their platform to even them.) All easy fixes, but they seem to be working towards a less customer-oriented experience. Please raise prices rather than degrade the experience. We want you to last for the long haul!
