I typically visit the dealership, test drive and look over the vehicle before moving forward. Pretty much the normal process. After all, this is a pretty big "investment". Ultimately, I do not want to get screwed over. Who does, right? That being said, I have been in the market for a newer model Jeep for some time. I was casually online looking for a Jeep, when I came across Texas Best Used Motorcycles. The Jeep I spotted was very clean looking from the pictures. Texas Best had a loaded a 4.5 min. video on their site. This video made me feel very comfortable. Texas Best did a fantastic job of going thru the Jeep while it was running, showing every nook and cranny. I was able to hear the engine, and see that everything was in PERFECT working condition. Because of that sort of detail, I decided to inquire on the Jeep. I shot an email to the dealership, and received a call from their Sales Manager - Paul Ryan. Paul was excellent to work with. Right off the bat, he was up front with me. He said, he had numerous people reach out to him regarding this particular Jeep, but I was first in line, therefore, he wanted to give me the first crack at it. Now, I know what your thinking, "all dealers tell you that", and you would be correct. However, this Jeep was spectacular, I know he wasn't full of BS. I have inquired on many Jeeps over the past 6 months, and they are gone within minutes of being posted. He could have very easily made several calls and gone with the highest offer, but he didn't. He went in order of inquiry. He wasn't like most dealers that you come across - he was honest. After he answered my questions, I felt comfortable enough to move forward. I made an offer that was very fair, and Paul had made a sale. It was such an easy process and the price was great! Being from out of state, I was worried about transport of my new Jeep. Paul said he had the best broker in TX, and got me squared away. The price thru his broker was much cheaper than other quotes I had requested on my own accord. His company, was fast, reliable, and very communicative regarding where and when my Jeep will arrive. The Jeep arrived in perfect condition. Just as Paul had stated over the phone, Texas Best only sells the best, and won't screw their customer over. He was right! The Jeep was immaculate, just turned 4k miles and the prices was incredible. I had been looking a long time for a Jeep like this, and I finally found the unicorn. Fast forward a couple months, I text Paul asking him if he could extend my temp tags, because Covid had delayed all DMV processing in my state by 4-6 weeks. Paul could have ignored me. He sold the Jeep 2 months ago. Why should he care? But he responded within minutes and I had my new temp tags within 30 min of texting him. That is just the guy he is, and the exact type of salesman that I wanted to buy from. Thank you, Paul and Texas Best! You really are the BEST!! I will be keeping on eye on your site for future vehicles, and definitely be recommending others to you. You have proven you can be trusted and your word is your bond. Called them on AUG 23RD and was told they blasted them and should be a few more weeks. Ok, no big deal I understand delays happen. Called again multiple times in mid/late Sept and got the same response. I'm starting to get a little frustrated at this point. Called again beginning of October and the same thing "the tech is measuring them and we should know in the next few days what pistons you need, I will call you once I know more". By now boating season is wrapping up. Finally said screw it and drove to the shop and picked them up OCT 24TH. During the span of 3 months, I never received 1 call about the status of the work, delays, or any info. Clearly my business is not important to them so I decided to take it elsewhere. I've been more than patient and understanding about the delays, but at a certain point I'm tired of being lied to. If you're a racer or have a trip or some sort of hard deadline you need a project finished by, I'd recommend going elsewhere. Also, in regards to the media blasting that they did do, I was told the coolant passages would be cleaned out and cylinder looking like new. Still lots of paint and corrosion everywhere on the cylinders and coolant passages. Lack of attention to detail and care for the customer. Will never do business with them and do not recommend.

He would not refund our money and promised that he would fix everything. Several weeks passed, they called and said everything was ready to go and that everything on the list worked. We found when we got there that he had added more to the price and things still did not work. We left it for another month. They finally called and said it was ready and that everything was fixed. We got there and the price had changed again and it still did not work. So we left again and waited several more weeks. They called again and said it was ready. When we got there he wasn't there and the price had changed once more. Half of the things still did not work. We could not get a refund for the items not fixed. He would not give us the keys until we paid more money. He told us then that we didn't know what we were talking about and that in Texas the auto mechanic can do anything they want and you have no recourse. We were forced to leave and leave our motorhome there. He said he had a lawyer on standby at all times. We were told to take the mo9torhome and not bother him anymore and pay him more money. At this time he has the motorhome and will not give us any of our money back unless we give him more money. We started all of this so it would be fixed and we could sell it because we are elderly, living on social security only and we needed the money. He is the owner and his name is Corey Ebert.
