I asked if he could install some new taillights that I had purchased and had the dealership quote me a ridiculous price. Lone Star repaired my damaged, installed my new taillights, and installed and wired a set of blackout reflector lights for less than what I was quoted for the taillights. The work was perfect! Along with a full repaint, there were a number of small to medium maintenance things that needed doing, re surfacing the interior ceiling with new cloth, fixing some minor body issues, polishing and clearing up my head lamps. It was a lot of work, and took about a month - but when I got my car back on the other end I almost didn't recognize it. They gave me a two-hour window for their arrival and showed up 15 minutes into that window. The whole job, including some preexistent scuffing on the side of the bumper, took about two hours, all done in my driveway. The color match and finish is impeccable and the price is less than a third of what a body shop would have cost me, not counting leaving the vehicle and having to get a rental while they did it. Multiple, convenient ways to pay. Cannot say enough good about this business (I almost want to call it a service), and Shannon who came and did all the work. Top notch, down-to-earth good neighbors. This process of getting my car fixed, that most people would consider extremely stressful, ended up being one of the easiest transactions I've done this year! My insurance had sent over the information and Brent's team was already prepared for us when we arrived. I was worried that having my five-year-old daughter with me would make the process more difficult, but the ladies at the front desk, Kori and Amber I believe, quickly showed her toys she could play with while I filled out the paperwork. The associate Chris even let her have a turn drawing on our car with the paint pen as he was marking up the damages! She thought it was so much fun I am still talks about "that really nice man from the car fix it shop" Throughout the repair process, Chris kept me up-to-date on the progress with helpful text messages and they were very flexible with a pick up time that worked for me. I was able to leave work, pick up my car, sign the papers and be back before my 30 minute lunch break was over. Then when one of their Paint repairs on my front bumper went bad after almost 9 months (Paint chipping and spider cracks) I contacted the owner Brian. Who told me that the work was not under warranty because it was a fiberglass bumper apparently?! (Funny because their website says they offer lifetime warranty on their work) Then, Brian tells me that if I bring it in he can give me a "discounted quote" to re-paint the bumper. Having no choice, I said okay. I contacted Brian for two full weeks after that interaction through texts, emails, just trying to figure out when I can get my repair done. Until this day he has not returned any correspondence or sent me the "discounted quote" he promised. For a shop I have used and my friends and family have used for 5+ years I was treated really badly and will not be returning to this place. Before you decide to spend money there just know that this is the level of customer service you'll be dealing with.
