Within my short phone call, I was able to set up an appointment to get a diagnostic and quote for my car. Then after a little bit of deliberation on my end, I was able schedule to get my car's exhaust system fixed and my windshield replaced in one day. What truly sets this place apart from other shops is how friendly and patient Dan is. Dan is the one who picked up my call. He held the door open for me when I first arrived at the shop when I got my car there for a quick diagnostic. He was ordering a Lyft for another customer and made sure it was a female driver for her and let me know that they offer free Lyfts to and from the shop. There is a massage chair as well as hot coffee and cold sodas for customers in their lobby. He answered all of my questions from my first phone call to all of my text messages to my last minute there when I picked up my car. He even listened to my ramblings of what happened before I brought my car to his shop. He's such an honest guy and I felt very taken care of. Even with the mishaps during my car's repair, he made sure the job was done in a day as he promised, staying a little after closing time. He truly embodies integrity from start to finish. I think I found my go-to auto shop. Thank you so much Dan and your wonderful team!!!

Tommy just came through for us again. My son Eric was driving the old Tahoe and started noticing a coolant leak. He diagnosed it as a water pump and we gave Eric the number for Quantum. Tommy took it in, diagnosed it as a shot water pump and gave me a quote with options for replacing with an original Chevy part or a less expensive aftermarket that he knew to be reliable. Frankly, the quote was hundreds less than I expected. I am a fairly decent mechanic and would gladly pay his quoted price. He got the work done the day he was able to diagnose the problem. On time, exactly as quoted and functioning perfectly. I have recommended Quantum to friends for a decade and they all agree that you get honest work done right at a fair price. Everything you need in a mechanic shop!

Engine wasn't starting immediately after turning the key. They performed their analysis and recommended a new starter and battery cables, for which they wanted to charge me $1,400+. I previously had the MC there for the same problem and, after $400+ in analysis charges, it was a $20 gas cap. Wanting a second opinion, I scheduled an appointment with Quantum. Due to their high volume of work, I had to wait 2-1/2 weeks, but the wait was well worth it. Tommy, the owner, looked at the battery cables and starter and said there was no problem with them. However, apparently some General Motors vehicles have this starting problem. Not enough fuel is getting to the fuel injectors when the key is turned. He pressure-checked the fuel pump and found it to be the problem. Rather than spending $1,200+, he showed me how to ensure the injectors have enough fuel so the engine will start on the first turn of the key. I've had cars serviced over 50+ years and Tommy is the first mechanic that took his time to fully explain the issue and the solution. He knows what he's doing and most importantly, he's honest. You can't go wrong with Quantum Mechanix.

I was provided a video and told the oil pump solenoid/sub-harness was the main issue. My paperwork also states that this was the "primary cause of the Check Engine Light," which was confusing because my check-engine light was never on and never came on. Because the diagnosis didn't sit right with me, I decided to get a second opinion before paying for the recommended repair. I took my Mercedes to another shop, where they diagnosed the water pump as the actual cause of the overheating and confirmed the oil pump solenoid was not causing the problem. After replacing the water pump, my overheating issue was resolved. I understand that diagnosing vehicles isn't always perfect, but I specifically paid $225 to determine the cause of an overheating issue, and unfortunately, the actual cause was missed. I'm very glad I trusted my instincts and got a second opinion before spending money on a repair that would not have fixed the overheating.

2016 Audi A8L - Air Strut Replacement…read more I've been using this location for over 2 years now. A year ago I had my passenger side air strut replaced due to it leaking. I had no issues with communication, service and the timely repair in this visit. This year I came in for remotely the same type of repair and it was nothing but frustration, unprofessionalism and something I'm having to find solution for myself currently. The communication from the front desk to the mechanics is very bad. I reported an issue with my driver side air strut this most recent visit. Failure to communicate this to the mechanic caused this issue to be prolonged and not be solved until 2 months later. Because they replaced the passenger side again and didn't assess the driver side. Even though I told them the driver side was the one broken for sure (physically could hear air leaking from the driver side strut). Both very well could've needed to be replaced but the failure to communicate that cost me over a month without my car that could have been avoided. Not only that, the day I came back to receive my car I was told there were no more air suspension fault codes showing. The moment I got in my car and turned it on there was a fault code. I was also told the car was realigned by the front desk. I talked directly with the mechanic who worked on my car and he said they did not do an alignment. This location is a place I've used often for any services on my two vehicles. If this is the level of service they are operating at then I will taking my vehicles elsewhere. Not because of the mechanics, but because the communication, unprofessionalism and the experience I just had with a replacement of two air struts and a compressor that took over 2 months to resolve. In which is still not solved due to the air suspension fault code still on. After research, my car will need an active level ride control reset from the dealership. The mechanic mentioned this directly to me when I came in addressing the still existing code. He explained this to the front desk and the front desk failed to mention it to me. Because of this I've driven my car two days and now my tires are chewed up because of this. Improper ride level and no alignment after strut replacement are main causes of this. I'm expected to be responsible for the fix. I had to go into the bay and find out from the mechanic myself to get these answers.
