It was a little pricey, but honestly, that's just what comes with owning this type of car. So worth it. Sam was super friendly and cool, and Josh was great too, he kept me company while we waited for my car to be ready, which made the time go by fast. They were very transparent about pricing and labor, which I really appreciated. What impressed me most was how quick they were. At the dealership, I usually expect to be without my car for a week, but here it was literally from one day to the next. That alone is a huge plus. Not many mechanics work on Alfa Romeos, so I'm really glad I found this spot. I'll definitely be coming back.

This was two days before Thanksgiving 2024 and after a couple weeks went by receiving no communication, I posted a review on Google still no phone calls. I reached out to them YET AGAIN after another week and instead of communicating about my vehicle she wanted to argue about the bad review I left stating they attempted to call me. I printed out my phone logs just to further prove my point that during this entire fiasco they have attempted to call me only once. I sat in their office having a face-to-face conversation with them stating that the cosmetics mean nothing to me I need my vehicle to operate mechanically and safely just as it did before I was hit. Weeks go by and still no word. Once again I call them and I was told was that they completed cosmetic work prior to even looking at the mechanical work and were still waiting to assess the mechanical portion. On what planet would a mechanical shop perform cosmetic work prior to any mechanical work?! What if the car is totaled? I mean, I'm just a mechanic too, What do I know? We have now started a brand new year. It's a week in to 2025 and the last time I have heard about my car was at the beginning of December. If you want your car fixed correctly and in a timely manner, do not bring your car here.. I wouldn't wish this place on my enemies. Lessons learned.

Of course I know nothing about cars, and after stumbling around on Yelp I found this company. I called the number listed and it sent me directly to the owner. We spoke for about ten minutes and he gave me helpful tips, pointers, things to look for things to ask, and provided me with additional contacts. Although I did not receive any service from this company, I could tell the owner cares and truly wanted to help me as well as others. I was very grateful for our chat and his assistance and expertise, and he made me feel a little better even though I was in a deflating situation. It's not everyday that someone is so helpful, and I appreciated the help that was thrown my way! I'm positive without a doubt, you'd receive great work from here and above and beyond customer service!

These guys are good! A class act all the way!!…read more Just before signing the big check for a slightly used car I decided to have it checked out at a mechanic not affiliated with the dealership - as you always should! The car had seemed perfect, it was clean, purred along the interstate during the test drive, everything worked as it should. Perfect! But I still needed to have it check out for peace of mind. And I am glad I did! But we'll get to that later... From the initial phone call where they were able to get me in last minute to being greeted upon arrival, to the actual service, the entire process was top notch. As I looked around their office signs on how they conduct business were everywhere, from the honorary system of paying for the snacks to the mottos that hung on the wall exuding they were serious about integrity and honesty. And they were. From years of interviewing people for work you get a slight talent on how to read people. Actually, that was why I was there, I had a bad feeling from those that were about to sell me the car. I had detected a few non-verbal signs of deception that gave me pause. On the other hand, I felt the guys at Jerry DeLong Automotive are genuine, honest, good guys. Very important in a auto shop! And they didn't prove me wrong. Now for the bad news... When I returned (they paid for my ride back, too!) they showed me everything that was of concern with the car - and there was a lot. Seems the previous owner pushed the car to its limits. Leaks everywhere along with some other things. These repairs would of cost thousands in a year or two. The $90 (I used their Yelp discount) I spent there saved me thousands of $$$! Needless to say I didn't buy the car. The whole process was done with class, professionalism, and honesty. My only regret is that my house is not located more closely because these would be my go-to auto guys. Thanks again for your services. Keep up the good work!

I didn't do what I usually do with requesting the old parts that were removed from the car but I figured with the paperwork and warranty that I'd be okay. Overall it was a Fantastic experience. I was on the fence with two of the repairs and the discussions I had with them, I chose not to do one of them since I'm not the owner of the car. They explained it could wait age I cos give her the option to move forward with the others. Yes, I paid a pretty penny but they were fair, fast, and detailed. Unfortunately, my recent experience under the new ownership and management has been completely different. I took my car in for what should have been a routine oil change, and that was the beginning of a series of problems. After the service, I started experiencing issues with my vehicle that I had never experienced before. It was extremely frustrating and disappointing to see a business I had trusted for more than two decades provide such a poor level of service. I contacted the new owner to explain the problems I was having. He told me he was busy helping other customers and said he would call me back. Unfortunately, he never did. That lack of follow-up and professionalism was especially disappointing after being a loyal customer for so many years. I am extremely frustrated with this experience and, sadly, I will not be returning to Metro Champion.
