I took my Alfa Romeo to Cowtown Rover for general maintenance and to get it fixed up, and I had a really good experience. It was a little pricey, but honestly, that's just what comes with owning this type of car. So worth it. Sam was super friendly and cool, and Josh was great too, he kept me company while we waited for my car to be ready, which made the time go by fast. They were very transparent about pricing and labor, which I really appreciated. What impressed me most was how quick they were. At the dealership, I usually expect to be without my car for a week, but here it was literally from one day to the next. That alone is a huge plus. Not many mechanics work on Alfa Romeos, so I'm really glad I found this spot. I'll definitely be coming back. read more

Great service for BMW owners. Friendly employees and mechanics who know how to make loyal customers like me.

These guys are family-owned. They saved me when my Discovery Sport stalled. They found the issue, fixed it, and didn't even charge me a dime b/c it was a quick fix. (The hose to the turbo popped off) I couldn't believe how professional, honest, kind, and knowledgeable they were. No more dealerships for me! I'll be coming back for life! God bless you Josh, Sam, and team! Hash read more

I could not have been grateful enough to find this place. The owner is amazing. And to be honest everyone that works for him is amazing. They're super sweet very welcoming and the most important for me is very trustworthy. Normally (as a woman) when you go to uave your car serviced, you have to worry about if they're going to try and get as much money out of you but COWTOWN ROVER is NOTHING like that. This place is extremely honest. They get things done in a timely manner and especially for the price you can't ask for a better company to work on your car. The best part for me was that they offer concierge service thank you guys for all you do. I've been meaning to do a review for a while now I finally found the time to do so. read more

I drove my SUv to this location and I finally went to the location after hearing every excuse under the sun after they kept my vehicle 6-7 months. When I drove up they were working on it but, they couldn't get my SUV to even start and the condition was nothing like it was prior to me driving it down. I had to get my SUV towed back to BMW and they repaired the vehicle however, after looking at all the documentation I realized that the ODOMETER had a lot less mileage than it did from the initial visi. read more

Cowtown Rover - Infinity QX80 - Auto Repair Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

I was in Fort Worth from out of town to look at a local vehicle. Sam worked me in for a pre-purchase inspection so I could get back on the road. He and the entire family/staff were great to deal with. I would highly recommend them. read more

I highly recommend Sam and Cowtown Rover. I have found them to be honest, professional and very helpful.

These guys are awesome!!!!! They have done body work and mechanical work for our family. Love Sam and the crew

I am sad to say, after taking my Land Rover Discovery Sport here for oil changes for a couple of years and being happy with them, I brought it in last week for the check engine light being on. They told me the reason for it being on was a cracked turbo charger and said it'd be around $3500. Then came out a few minutes later and said that was wrong and it would cost around $4500. Then finally a short while later said the total with an oil change would be $5300!! I decided to leave and think it over because something didn't feel right. I ended up taking it over to Autobahn Land Rover and paid them the $195 to diagnose it. It DID NOT have a cracked turbo charger. It needed a purge valve and a charcoal assembly. (Which was way less money) I'm extremely disappointed in these people. I thought they were good guys. Be cautious! read more

Excellent service and value found at Cowtown Rover! We love Sam, his son and the Esquivel family who all work in the family biz at Cowtown Rover. Sam was w the Ft Worth Autobahn group and one of the primary locations for Land Rover, BMW, Mercedes etc., and took care of us there for many years, so naturally we followed him, when he opened his own car care and mechanics shop for Land Rover, Mercedes and BMW, all the luxury vehicles his family handled for years at Autobahn and know remarkably well. The Esquivel family has mastered the art of caring for families and their vehicles in a casual relaxed setting, totally worth the stop if you need luxury vehicle care. read more

Cowtown Rover - The fabulous Defender - fell in love w it when I was 6! - Auto Repair Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

See all

Was referred to Cowtown Rover due to their reputation for being honest. Had an issue with my Z4 Beamer overheating. Cowtown picked it up, diagnosed it as a simple to fix issue that they didn't change for. They change my breaks, rotors, plugs and popped several hail dents out for half of what anyone else would have. And they dropped it off. Turn around was one day. The Beamer looks and runs great just in time for convertible weather. Total quality and super service minded... did I mention HONEST? read more

ABOVE & BEYOND! Having just moved to Fort Worth, I took my Rover to Autobahn Land Rover! It was a nightmare experience with an attempted rip me off! Upon arriving at CowTown Debbie and Josh, Sam too provided service that was beyond exceptional! My issues were addressed, additional issues were discovered and the total expense with significantly less than the the proposed Autobahn estimate. Cowtown served as my advocate with the after warranty insurance company with an outcome in my favor. COWTOWN deserves the Land Rover slogan "ABOVE and BEYOND" hands down! read more

After an oil change they recommended replacing my rear differential for 2k. They said it had "some play" and was leaking. I went to get a second opinion and they said the car was fine. It only has 66k miles and is well taken care of. I love supporting small businesses and always thought very highly of their quality of work but I am now questioning it. A couple years ago they also recommended that I replace the control arms because they were failing. I held off and it was never mentioned as an issue the follow two service inspections. It seems if they had really been an issue it would have been seen on the following inspections. read more

I came across this place by accident, but so glad I did!! I had a feeling I was in need of a new tire, but I kept getting the 'ok' for a plug at other shops. I walked in during my lunch break and asked if they could help with a plug. They of course said yes and quickly examined my tire. Due to the placement of the leak, they suggested a new tire. I was on my lunch break and they offered to drive me to work and drive my car back once the tire had been replaced. Sam and his team took care of my car for a fair price! I greatly appreciated their help with this and being kind enough to drive me to work and then dropping off my read more

Sam and Josh are simply the best. I recently bought a 2002 Range Rover, which had the usual head gasket, ABS, and leaking problems. After calling around all three area Land Rover dealerships, taking it to two separate shops, and calling at least six more indies, I had a pretty good idea of what to expect. All the others were either inexperienced or were going to charge me over $7,000 for the repairs. When I finally found Cowtown Rover, Sam not only diagnosed the issues within minutes, he offered to fix a few additional preventive maintenance items for a whole package deal significantly cheaper than the rest. He even offered to drop me off at home and picked me up when the car was ready (over 30 minutes each way). When my car was ready for pickup, he found a few more issues pertaining to bad relays, and he just fixed those as part of my deal without additional cost. Sam and Josh truly care about their customers. They saved me a boat load of money and gave me something even more valuable: peace of mind. I can drive my beautiful machine knowing that it's in great shape, my family is safe, and that I got the best deal in town from the most experience Land Rover mechanics anywhere in the world. Thank you, Sam and Josh! You guys are way better than the competition, and I will tell everyone to see you, no matter what car they drive. read more

I've been having my car serviced at Cowtown for 6 years....and after all of the thousands of dollars I've spent, my experience has been unbelievably terrible. I had my engine go out on my in May 2012. Was promised the rebuilt one would be up and going in 1 week...it ended up being 6 weeks. I picked the car up and the engine went out the next day! They took the car back on July 2 and I didn't get it back until February 2013! Sam, the owner of Cowtown insisted that the machine shop was backlogged for initially 90 days, then it was 6 months etc....actually I went to the machine shop and found out the reason my engine hadn't been completed is because Sam didn't order to be done, because it was coming out of his pocket....another lie! The belt broke this week and I had it towed to Cowtown...they said it was the power steering pump....I paid for it over the phone, they said they would have my car back to my house by six...it didn't make it...they called and said they would be there in the morning (today) between 9-9:30...no show...I call, Sam said that they are busy and that he didn't promise it there by 9:30...another lie...after a heated phone exchange, I was told to F__K myself and that he wasn't going to bring me my car after I paid the 800 bill the previous day (yesterday) Needless to say, I have plenty of ground to sue, but he's worthless...oh, and since my car sat in his shop for 7 months, the brand new tires that were on it, got flat spots...he refused to replace them...he said he would shave down the flat spots! What complete lack of customer service, completely devoid of any integrity...I have every right to be upset, just hope that someone else doesn't get duped by this con artist. read more
